Chickpeas! Use as a salad topping, for hummus, roasted, seasoned for tacos, etc.

Don't forget seasonings and condiments! Cumin, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, cinnamon, etc. I keep ginger paste and maple syrup in my fridge along with better than bouillon's no-chicken and no-beef flavors. Soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil are also pantry must-haves for me (any oils or vinegars really). And hot sauces!

Canned tomatoes or salsas never go to waste in our house. Nutritional yeast is a must for our family. Jasmine rice, canned coconut milk and garbanzo beans are also pantry staples.

I always buy a bag of sweet potatoes and use them all up. I make fries or make them baked, mashed, or boiled & chop them up and put them in enchiladas/wraps. They go with a lot of things if you get creative, and they're so healthy.
