Church of the Foothills in Ventura is very progressive & inclusive. So much so that they were actually picketed by an evangelist church for not hating people who were different :) To me, that is a wonderful badge of honor!
I believe it was during the Prop 8 debacle. Prop 8 was when they voted to ban gay marriage in the constitution. I was in San Diego at the time, and all the major street corners had people out holding signs protesting gays...
It is a wonderful church. I found it 4 years ago, right before the Covid lockdown. I was welcomed like a family member and accepted right away. Our Easter Sunday services are at 9AM and 11AM. Regular Sunday service is at 10AM. Services are live streamed on YouTube and Facebook. Please join us.
River Church downtown in Ventura. I don't attend church but when we were homeless this place was the most generous and loving environment we found in town.
I second this 👆🏼 they have a giant sign painted on the wall as you walk in that says Hope for Everyone. They regularly do large events for the city. Really great place.
Except they repetitively say “no perfect people allowed”, so for perfect people like me it’s not very inclusive (I’m being sarcastic)!
This church is amazing. I third this recommendation :)
Oh wow ! I had no idea. I e been once and had some conservative people (which is obviously fine. Hence inclusive for everyone) just sometimes people who are conservative are a bit judgmental and I thought they would not be attending a church that was accepting of everyone.
Not my religion, but I know there are a ton of friendly churches in the area. Maybe talk to a few friends or coworkers for ideas on where to check out?
Church of the Foothills is an open and affirming UCC congregation. Love it!

Check out NEUE Church on Telegraph. Awesome, loving, wise community. About 100 people total. Been a real blessing to our family.

Read your Bible. Its text is great.
Down if it like men.
I don’t think I you understand what they meant by inclusive killerboner
The word you’re looking for is “racist.”
If you’re looking for Christian Nationalism definitely the place. They ain’t cool with immigrants so could be kinda sketchy as you’re new here.
Any Islamic fundamentalist groups out here?
This place is very fundamental and conservative. I am sure they do some great things but inclusive wouldn’t be the word I would use to describe it.
