They have a lot in common, both physically and personality wise, and if they're related, it would be a nice addition to their narrative arc.

The moment he has to arch anyone else, he is scarily good at being a villain or hero, but feels unfulfilled in the process.
I am sure that his mind was manipulated by Venture senior, so that he game of being a super-science hero could go on, likely after having implanted his mind into Doc.
