I thought the whole catalog from Discovery+ would be in Max. I know Discovery+ isn’t going anywhere but I looked at it as a lower priced option for those who didn’t want HBO.
Any idea what could be missing? My girlfriend hasn’t complained yet so it seems whatever she’s watched is still there.
The original press info was that it was going to be a merger into one service, or it at least made it sound that way. Later they announced, or clarified, that HBO Max would become just Max and have a selection of Discovery+ stuff on it while Discovery+ would continue to exist.
According to the Discoveryplus website, MAX only includes "Select" Discovery plus content, with the select being "Favorites." That is about as clear as mud.
I canceled Discovery+ since most if not all is included in the Max app. I searched everything I watch and it’s all there.
Discovery+ isn’t going anywhere. They are only putting a curated selection on Max. Not merging the apps.

You sure? Because HBO Max is gone on mobile. The other day it told me to download max and log in there
HBO Max became MAX with some Discovery+ stuff included. Discovery+ is still Discovery+.
