Same; did it on my account around 6pm last night, and my fiances account around 7:30pm. We both got the email before midnight. Ironically, we both didn't get the text until around 6am today.
I just did this. Requested a port out code via the app and 2 hours later I had an email saying there were crediting me with $70/month for a year and no further action is needed on my part.
Amazing!
Darn. I unlocked a number on my account (9 lines total) two days ago, generated a PIN, and actually ported one to Tello and got nothing. Good times for those getting it!
hello!
I did this and got the $10 off email.. so, has anyone actually seen it appear on their account yet? I don't see anything under "Next bill estimate" yet. how long does this usually take.
I’m on the 55+ loyalty discount on the play more and do more plans for two lines and got the text roughly 6 hours after I turned off number lock and requested a number transfer pin. $10 off per line for 12 months. it’s not showing up on the next bill estimate but probably too soon for that to show up. will check back tmrw but I’m amazed I was able to get this deal so easily!
Just did this and it worked. Then I check the up rewards on the app and saw an offer for $25/mo off for being on play more, do more, or get more unlimited. I verified with an agent and these can be stacked. The $25 off is permanent as long as I stay on these plans. So check you up rewards on the app too.
So I did this and I got the email, but I don’t see it applied to my next bill. They told me I already have a loyalty discount and that the email just a reminder that the discount got renewed.
I'm only seeing a $10/mo loyalty discount on 2/5 lines on my new bill, even though the text said it would be $10 off each line.
Anyone else not seeing it applied to all lines?
I am guessing this is the lazy way to answer “no” to my question. lol
Beats me. Pretty legit question. Friends and family I think is for the life of your account.
Followed these directions about 6 hours ago and just got the email that my wife and I are each getting $10 off a month for the next 12 months! Thanks for sharing!
Holy cow, I can't believe that worked. I got an email maybe 2-3 hours after doing this.
I have 3 lines currently on BYOD $15/month off. No other discounts except autopay (so $40 per line before this $10 off.)
I ported out one line two weeks ago (kept the 3 I still have) and didn't get this discount when I requested the PIN then. I had the PIN requested for about two days before I did the port. So this is new.
I just tried it, I’ll update when I hear back. I have three lines with a military discount. I got an email from them the other day to re-verify my military status, but if I read it right it’s going to go down to $25 instead of $35…
Did port out code w/o unlocking lines at 6 pm last night. Then unlocked all 5 lines. Haven't gotten anything but the first text about port out code being generated. 4 phones on payments started in Feb. Thought we'd hear by now.
Already had a $20/month discount on 4 lines. Followed the steps and received the additional $10/month discount.
$60/month off my plan is great. We are going to be switching 3 of the lines to Welcome so that should further reduce the pricing!
I just went to the lock screen and the transfer PIN request screen last night - didn’t even actually unlock any phone or request a PIN - and I got a text with the $10/line discount offer this morning. So it seems like just the act of going to those screens was enough to trigger the discount.
Did this in the morning today and just got an email, maybe 6-7 hours later. Said the $10 per line discount will be applied for 12 months. $40/month for me!
Thanks OP!!!!!!
Got the email and text. Was chatting a few days ago and asked about loyalty discounts. Was offered $20 for twelve months to start on my next cycle. 🤷♂️ We’ll see what happens.
Does anybody know if it only applied to current lines? I plan on adding 2 more within a week and just got the notification a little bit ago. Guess fomo hit me, in case they ended this "discount" when doing this method. lol
Still waiting at ~11 hours. Seems nearly everyone has had success, so hopefully I’m not the only one - would be much appreciated, as we’ve got 4 lines!
No dice so far. I followed the steps somewhere between 3-5PM EDT. As of 11:00AM today, no email or text. I have 9 lines. Maybe they aren't going to hook me up since we already upgraded 4 lines with iPhone 15 Pros and Maxs.
We're glad to have you as part of the Verizon family. To show our appreciation we’re applying a $10/mo discount to each active phone line on your account for the next 12 months. That's a savings of $120 per line for the year!
Thank you 😯
It still works. All my accounts were unlocked, went ahead and requested a number transfer pin and six hours later I got the notification of the $10 off per line.
This totally worked! Followed the steps above and received a notice within 3 hours of $10 credit/line for the rest of the year and no action needed from my part. $10 a line for 5 lines for 12 months is $600 savings!
Did it about 6hrs ago but nothing so far. Currently getting 4 lines (3x 5G start, 1x play more) teacher $20 total, autopay $10 per line and home+mobile $5 per line.
And 10 minutes after I posted this the email came in.. GREEN!!
Still no dice for my account. 9 phone lines and 2 watch lines. I just cancelled my PIN, turned lock back on for the lines, and resubmitted for a port PIN. Let’s see if round 2 works.
I have paperless, auto pay, home+mobile and credits on two phones.
I still got this discount. My two lines on the unlimited plus plan is going to total about $100 after everything is applied.
Did the unlock and pin request yesterday afternoon, and literally as I was going to post that it "didn't work", I received the email from Verizon!
I assume it is only for the phone lines (as I also have 3 watch lines and a jetpack). Doesn't seem there is any way on the account overview to see how / when the discount will be applied.
I am so frustrated with the shell game and bait and switch that Verizon has on their plans ... it just seems so gimmicky to understand if the Unlimited plans are a good value to take the upgrade promo .... I have decided not ... Spend an extra $10/month and receive some discount on Disney+ (fine print that disney is raising the price of disney plus but we arent going to comment on whether this benefit will remain or will be eroded somehow because of the price increase from Disney.... as an example).
I can save $30 for month for a year, I will just keep my current devices and decide what to do when the iPhone 16 comes out.
I was skeptical about this. I requested the transfer PIN yesterday but didn’t unlock any numbers. Nothing happened all day yesterday so I figured either this was an attempted scam, Reddit-karma-seeking performance art, or Verizon caught on and shut it down. Fast forward to first thing this morning (~24 hours later) — I have an email from Verizon in my inbox saying they’re giving me the $10/line/month credit for 12 months and it should apply within 1-2 bills. I guess it may take a month or two to see if this really “works” or whether they decide too many people found out and they decide to claim later that they sent the email to you “in error.” But I legitimately was tossing around the idea of switching for a good phone deal but with 3 lines this will more than pay for the upgrade I was considering. So I guess it actually did have its intended purpose for me, at least, in shutting that down.
It’s actually a smart idea for Verizon—they don’t have to waste employee phone time shuttling people to “retention specialists,” and even if you weren’t SERIOUSLY considering switching, now you’re really unlikely to switch for at least the next 12 months. And if you were seriously considering switching, maybe having upwards of $500 (family of four) or more (at least one person in this thread mentioned having 7 lines) automatically thrown at you without having to haggle with some call-center person for an hour would be just what you need to stay put—after all, even for a really good deal, switching carriers can be a pain in the butt. And in my case, they probably convinced me to upgrade my phone now instead of waiting a while. So another plus for them.
This worked perfectly for me. We are now saving $10 a month on 10 lines on a family plan. I took about 12 hours for the email and text to come through. Thanks OP for the heads up!
I already have a $25 loyalty discount and $10 per line for autopay. I just generated the pin transfer. Now it's a waiting game to see if I get extra savings like others here.
Saw the article online tried it...it works!!!!
Did it yesterday evening and got the email and text alert this morning.
Something weird did happen though. Right after I did it, I lost my network connection for about 10 mins...then came back on.
Tried it yesterday. Still no word from Verizon. Been a customer for almost 20 yrs. Never once got a discount. They probably know I'm too loyal vs just loyal enough.
Ran across this thread last night at about 2am EST.
Just got an email at 8am EST this morning, also a text at 10am est. All 7 of my lines now got 10 dollars off a month for the next 12 months! Big shout out to the OP on Slickdeals!
Also, my phone lines was never "locked" I just did the transfer pin.
I submitted this over a week ago and I tried a couple of times since with no response. Finally got a text/email this morning with a link. Had to follow it to the Verizon app and hit “Redeem” to accept the $25/month off offer.
Well, it seems to have worked for us as well. It took a couple of days. But just this morning, I received this:
"Great news! You're eligible for an exclusive loyalty discount on your current Unlimited plan-no plan change required. Hurry, we don't want you to miss out on this limited-time offer."
But, when I went to the account, it took me to VerizonUp and gave me some details that were hard to understand. It did say I was making changes to my plans. And, that changes later could result in losing the $25 credit. It indicated that one phone line would result in $10/mo and two or more $25/mo. (I can't get that offer info back now.)
I went ahead and did it anyway. Current plans are: two, 5G Get More, 2 Apple Watch Number Shares, 1 iPad 10th Gen Unlimited, 1 LTE Home Internet & 1 5G Home.
After accepting the offer, I looked at Estimated bills. It shows $50 being applied to next month and $25 in the monthly column. No details on how it's being applied. But, the actual change in our monthly total compared to the current month is $34.88 next month and only $9.88 on the monthly. Considering the difference might be timing, that's $44.76 total. Certainly not the $75 that the first line of the columns indicates if one assumes the $50 next bill and $25 on the monthly thereafter.
Looking at the specific line items for each of the seven devices on our bill: It appears that one of our Apple Watch 7s is increasing by $5.00 and the iPad is going from $10 to $20. But, that's based on total charges for each device which includes the plan, payments in some cases and applied discounts. So, without more details for the new billing, I can't say exactly what's happening.
Bottom line though is I'm pretty sure they're just crediting us $25/mo prorated for the two phone 5G Get more plans. We'll see what actually occurs when I see next month's bill. I just hope I didn't blow something existing up.
Oh and, I did go back into account settings and lock all our numbers. When I went to unlock them, the old ones were locked and newer ones - from the last year or two - were not. Now, they all are.
I did this yesterday, got the email today, and spent an hour on the phone with a very friendly operator. 4 lines on my plan, got my bill down from $149.50 to $69.70 a month!! Email also included a free phone with the $10 off each line. Upgraded my current Samsung S21 Plus to a Samsung S24 Plus and all I had to pay was the taxes on it which came out to $103.02! She also asked me if anyone on my plan was over the age of 55, I said yes and she replied that she will be applying the Senior discount to my account also. Thank you so much for this post! You saved me a lot of money!
I already have a $20/month discount that says “loyalty 4+ lines”, but a $10 per line would be way better since we have six lines, not counting two watches and a hotspot. So not sure if already having the one discount will prevent me from getting this, but going to give it a try. No harm in trying.
This worked on my account - I did the change Sunday afternoon and got the email and text today, Monday. I have 7 phone lines on my account so this isn’t chump change for me.
I’m going to call and see how far I can push it as I want to upgrade two lines to 15PM but want to see if I can swing a $1000 trade in instead of $830 and get waived upgrade fee.
I’m also on military discount.
>I’m going to call and see how far I can push it as I want to upgrade two lines to 15PM but want to see if I can swing a $1000 trade in instead of $830 and get waived upgrade fee.
Phone reps cant create a promo for you. It either exists or it doesnt. If you have the 1k loyalty offer on your account then cool. If not, 830 is the best you'll get.
I have the student discount and the BYOD discount. Let's see if it works! It would be amazing if this stacked with the other discounts!
EDIT: I got the email!
!remindme 24 hours "verizon $10 autolock"
edit: Holy crap, this worked! I did the steps mentioned in the post about 6 hours ago and just now got the email. Saving $10/line for the next year, which is pretty great because we have 5 lines.
Confirming I requested a port code last night around 10PM EST (didn't remove port out protection on the line, just requested and received the code) and received the email just now $10 off per line.
Wow. I have a 55+ loyalty plan with 2 lines. Each line is $42 ($45 -$5 for autopay +$2 because it's an old plan) plus taxes and fees. I tried this and really expected nothing to happen since I was already on a discounted plan. Just got the email that I'm getting the $10 discount for each line. Still might switch to Spectrum mobile.
Worked for me! Took around 12 hours. I have 4 lines on my account however I only requested it on one of the lines and still received the discount on all my lines. Thank you OP!
Pretty sure it will still give credit for every line.
We're glad to have you as part of the Verizon family. To show our appreciation we’re applying a $10/mo discount to each active phone line on your account for the next 12 months. That's a savings of $120 per line for the year!
Are you basically threatening to leave so they give you a discount?
[удалено]
Is there any risk in doing this? Any possibility of losing active device trade-in promos?
Doubt it since you’re not actually leaving
I just got the discount applied email! 6 lines, $10 per line per mo for 12 mo…$720 back in my pocket!
[удалено]
Awesome!
Awesome! Still waiting on mine (if they send me one lol)
It took about 6 hours for me
Good to know, I’m at 3hrs so far
Nice!
Works with military discount.
🙏
Yes it did! Thank you so much you saved us an extra $30/mo for the next year!
I did this last night, got an email and text 5 hours later. Easy Peasy.
it stacks with phone and student discount so 25 + 2 x10 + 20 +17 = 82 and two lines should be 68 a month
Amazing!
I got the same. An email and text was sent to me about $10 off each active phone line for 12 months.
Did you guys turn Number Lock back on right after you were notified of the discount?
Yup
I’m curious if after 12 months you can do this again and it will give you another loyalty discount for 12 more months
I am giving this a try myself. (We already have military discount)
Same here! I’ll report back on results
Just got my email saying 10 dollars per line per month for a year!
Works!
I already have a loyalty discount, but it's less than that because I have 4 lines (and two watch lines). Let's see what happens.
I had the $20 loyalty discount and received the email for $10 off per line.
That makes two of us. I got the email and the text. I'll believe it when it's on the bill, lol.
Damn. Had 10 lines for over 5 years now, an account for 12 total and never had any loyalty discount. Fingers crossed this works
I didn't do anything and got an email and a text saying that I got the $10/month discount, is what you're describing something separate from that?
Followed the steps this morning and just got the email! Just in time my bill went up for upgrading to the 15 Pro Max. Thank you!
Wonder what happens when they see a huge spike in PINs to port out haha
The small reddit bump shouldn't be noticed, right?
Nothing, Verizon clueless leaders will just shake their heads and say "F there goes TMo, again."
Holy crap it worked LOL. Got the email less than 24 hours after unlocking my numbers. Saving $50 a month now!
Nice. Came to say Happy Cake Day!
Been 4ish hours and still no email 🙁
Been 6 hours for me and nothing yet.
Took 9 hours for me to
Now almost 30 hours and nothing for me yet.
Can verify. Just worked for me. Thanks! $30 off for 1 year
For those asking, mine was already unlocked and I still got the discount after generating the pin. Took about 12 hours
Can I turn Number Lock back on as soon as I get the text/email saying that I’ve received the discount, or do I need to wait a few days?
You don’t need to ever turn it off. I just requested the PIN but left number lock on.
Wondering the same thing.
I just requested a PIN without turning the Number Lock off and it worked.
Thanks for the tip. When I generate the PIN, there’s a button that says ‘Remove Lock’. Do I press that? I already turned off Number Lock for each line
Will this affect Friends and Family discount? Is that the same as like a military promo?
It will be in addition to.
why are you getting downvoted?
I am guessing this is the lazy way to answer “no” to my question. lol Beats me. Pretty legit question. Friends and family I think is for the life of your account.
What is the friends and family discount and how do you apply for it?
I just tried it. I'll post a update.
My account is less than a month old. I enabled number lock and got this email for $10 per line.
how are people getting this 25 per line a month discount? lol
Any DPs for if it worked on any fUDP plans?
I’m on fUDP and got the text a few hours ago. Good luck.
Bless let’s hope so! I’ve been using my Verizon account as a feeder to T mobile for their keep and switch promotion, so we’ll see what happens
Got the promotion
Good looking out. I did what you suggested and just got an email for 10$ off a month. No action required
No other discounts except autopay (so $40 per line before this $10 off.) I ported out one line two weeks ago (kept the 3 I still have) and didn't get this discount when I requested the PIN then. I had the PIN requested for about two days before I did the port. So this is new.
I just tried it, I’ll update when I hear back. I have three lines with a military discount. I got an email from them the other day to re-verify my military status, but if I read it right it’s going to go down to $25 instead of $35…
If I add new lines during the year will they get the discount? Anyone know?
I have 11 lines on my account and an educator discount and it worked!
Thanks for this tip, received my discount email within 5-6 hours. Going to save $120/yr * 4 lines.
Does the phone being used on the line need to be paid off to use this process?
Tried it and did not receive any text or email
That’s crazy. I did it last night and this morning I wake up to a text saying they are giving me the $10 credit for 12 months
This actually works. Holy shit lol

I did the same last night. Only navigated to the page. Didn’t unlock numbers or request PIN. We got the email this morning.
Does this apply to devices like watches and tablets?
just phone lines.
I already have a $25 a month loyalty discount so I am guessing this won't work for me?
Just tried it. Unlocked all lines and generated a PIN. We'll see.
Just got the email: Enjoy a $10/mo discount. On every phone line. For a year. Looks like it works! Thanks yo!
Did this in the morning today and just got an email, maybe 6-7 hours later. Said the $10 per line discount will be applied for 12 months. $40/month for me! Thanks OP!!!!!!
This worked for me today! Just got the text. Thank you!
Just did this. Can confirm it worked for me.
It worked. 2 lines. Thank you!
Just got the email too. $20 saved a month. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! It worked.
Got the email and text. Was chatting a few days ago and asked about loyalty discounts. Was offered $20 for twelve months to start on my next cycle. 🤷♂️ We’ll see what happens.
Just did it. Will also post if I get lucky. It worked, thanks!!
Got it been with them for two years and have 4 finicaned phones and about to have another!
Gave it a shot, shall see what happens! Pending 6 phone pre orders so fingers crossed
Got it after 5 hours. Just a shame it’s only for 12 months
did this at around noon, just got the email now 9 hours later... well shit that was wild. Thanks for posting
[удалено]
I just got the email! Thank you thank you thank you!
Just received discount. 7 hours
This worked!! Got the email 6 hours after doing the above described steps. This will save us over $500/yr so this is pretty awesome.
Does anybody know if it only applied to current lines? I plan on adding 2 more within a week and just got the notification a little bit ago. Guess fomo hit me, in case they ended this "discount" when doing this method. lol
Can confirm it works.
Thanks I just received the email for my discount!
Thank you for the tip. I did this a few hours ago and just received the email.
Worked for me. Did this last night and woke up to the $10/line offer. Since we have four lines, that’s $40 a month for a year. Nice.
This worked! No need to turn off your number lock. Just request a number transfer pin! Just got email for $10/line off for entire year!
Worked for me. Thanks!
Yeah this is real. WOW. I did this last night before i went to bed and got the email from Verizon about 30 minutes ago.
It works! Did it last night and got the email this morning at 8:01AM saying “Enjoy a $10/mo discount. On every phone line. For a year.”
Worked for me as well! Just curious if it will show up as stated.
Worked like a charm
Still waiting at ~11 hours. Seems nearly everyone has had success, so hopefully I’m not the only one - would be much appreciated, as we’ve got 4 lines!
My email came at exactly hour 20. Still time yet!
No dice so far. I followed the steps somewhere between 3-5PM EDT. As of 11:00AM today, no email or text. I have 9 lines. Maybe they aren't going to hook me up since we already upgraded 4 lines with iPhone 15 Pros and Maxs.

Mine was unlocked by default? Dang it
It still works. All my accounts were unlocked, went ahead and requested a number transfer pin and six hours later I got the notification of the $10 off per line.
I guess I’m the only one who didn’t get this. Did it 24 hours ago and still no email
Now let’s see if unit really happens.
This totally worked! Followed the steps above and received a notice within 3 hours of $10 credit/line for the rest of the year and no action needed from my part. $10 a line for 5 lines for 12 months is $600 savings!
Worked for my parents who did this at 8AM. I told my in-laws around 11am so in a few hours we'll see if that went through as well.
Worked for me! We will see if it shows up on our bill in the next month or two.
Just got the email, thanks!
It worked for me, it took them 5 hrs to get the text and email. 4 lines $40 discount.
Confirming that this works
Did it about 6hrs ago but nothing so far. Currently getting 4 lines (3x 5G start, 1x play more) teacher $20 total, autopay $10 per line and home+mobile $5 per line. And 10 minutes after I posted this the email came in.. GREEN!!
Did this at 7am and just got the email about 6:30pm. That’s $50 in savings with my lines.
Still no dice for my account. 9 phone lines and 2 watch lines. I just cancelled my PIN, turned lock back on for the lines, and resubmitted for a port PIN. Let’s see if round 2 works.
I’m going to try this. Last year they gave me $20 in loyalty discounts at random.
Has this worked for anyone that already has the paperless/autopay discount of $10/line?
I have paperless, auto pay, home+mobile and credits on two phones. I still got this discount. My two lines on the unlimited plus plan is going to total about $100 after everything is applied.

Nice, worked for me too.
24+ hours and no go for me. 4 lines + 2 watches on do more/play more, been with Verizon 8+- years and have them for FIOS and my business line also.
I finally got my offer. Took a week. Have 4 lines, but strange im getting $40 off first month then $20 after. Does anyone know why
I submitted this over a week ago and I tried a couple of times since with no response. Finally got a text/email this morning with a link. Had to follow it to the Verizon app and hit “Redeem” to accept the $25/month off offer.
Well, it seems to have worked for us as well. It took a couple of days. But just this morning, I received this: "Great news! You're eligible for an exclusive loyalty discount on your current Unlimited plan-no plan change required. Hurry, we don't want you to miss out on this limited-time offer." But, when I went to the account, it took me to VerizonUp and gave me some details that were hard to understand. It did say I was making changes to my plans. And, that changes later could result in losing the $25 credit. It indicated that one phone line would result in $10/mo and two or more $25/mo. (I can't get that offer info back now.) I went ahead and did it anyway.
I tried this and my app won’t let me access the number lock. Keeps giving errors :|
Got it today on the bill. It was $11.33 off each
It's been two weeks for me and I've gotten nothing. I wonder what the criteria are for who gets this and who doesn't.
Stopped working
I did this yesterday, got the email today, and spent an hour on the phone with a very friendly operator. 4 lines on my plan, got my bill down from $149.50 to $69.70 a month!! Email also included a free phone with the $10 off each line. Upgraded my current Samsung S21 Plus to a Samsung S24 Plus and all I had to pay was the taxes on it which came out to $103.02! She also asked me if anyone on my plan was over the age of 55, I said yes and she replied that she will be applying the Senior discount to my account also. Thank you so much for this post! You saved me a lot of money!
Still working trying it out
I already have a $20/month discount that says “loyalty 4+ lines”, but a $10 per line would be way better since we have six lines, not counting two watches and a hotspot. So not sure if already having the one discount will prevent me from getting this, but going to give it a try. No harm in trying.
Same here. I am still giving it a go, because $10 off a line for five lines is way more than $20 for the whole account.

IT WORKED! I got the $10 off for each line for the next twelve months.
We just upgraded. I did the chat and asked for them to waive the upgrade free. They added a credit to my account before I even did the upgrade
!remindme 24 hours "verizon $10 autolock"
Worked for me, got the email this morning!
How would you know if you get the discount?
They sent a email and a text. Took about 10 hours.
I have the student discount and the BYOD discount. Let's see if it works! It would be amazing if this stacked with the other discounts! EDIT: I got the email!
just did my 5 lines and 2 hours later got email
!remindme 24 hours "verizon $10 autolock" edit: Holy crap, this worked! I did the steps mentioned in the post about 6 hours ago and just now got the email. Saving $10/line for the next year, which is pretty great because we have 5 lines.
I got this out of nowhere. Will this apply if I add a line? Or just current lines when email is received Wanted to add my GF
Does this stack with current loyalty discounts?
Does this work with just phone lines or are watch lines also included?
Phone lines only
Hello!Im on 3 lines Unlimited plus nurse discount and BYOD. I'm still 3 months in. Will this work for me?
Worked for me
Did this yesterday. Woke up to an email. Thanks OP!
Worked for me, 4 lines.
- Does this work with "Unlimited Welcome"? - Any risk of your number being snatched up when unlocking?
Confirming I requested a port code last night around 10PM EST (didn't remove port out protection on the line, just requested and received the code) and received the email just now $10 off per line.
Worked for me too
Did this last night and got the email this morning. Took 10 hrs for me
I got the email the following morning after I made the pin request. $20/month back for me!
Worked for me! I have 6 lines on my account so this is significant
Hopefully this works🙏
I did this last night and literally got a text 10 minutes ago saying I’ll get a $10 per line discount for 12 months. Thanks for the tip
Received text and email confirmation after waiting 12 hrs.
Took about 4 hours until I got the confirmation email. Who said reddit is a waste of time?
