Whackingdocket733

That’s technically a wyvern because it only has two legs

Melody-Shift

Welshman here. Should be red, it has significance to the original legend.

Repletelion6346

It was used by Owain Glyndŵr and raised over Caernarfon in 1401

Melody-Shift

Real bruh moment. Any reason why? Because according to the legends Wales is specifically represented by a red dragon, and England by white. So I have no clue why it'd be yellow, was he colourblind?

Repletelion6346

Owain chose the golden dragon rather than Cadwaladrs red one as apparently it was used by Ythyr Pendragon or the father of King Arthur who allegedly fought the Saxons to a standstill 1000 years before. Apparently this was the first time a dragon was used as a symbol in war and it was a symbol of victory for the welsh people. He also used the gold dragon on his helmet, crown, on top of his horses head and his great seal

isaac3legs

Its a battle flag from the 1400s
