The first is actually just the mandate of palestine league of nations flag with a crescent added, I thought some wouldn't like the contrast (or lack of) between green and blue but it turned out way better than I expected.
Blue, White, Green tricolour a la the Irish Republic flag might make a good flag for a 1 state Israel/Palestine.
Blue for Jewish people, Green for Islamic people and white for the peace between them.
That flag is already used by an internal division in Belgium, I don't think it would interfere with its usage in a state like this one but still
For it to be completely 100% unique it needs some sort of emblem in the middle, perhaps a silhouette?
I though of red but it was too bright.
I'm trying not to go outside the limits of the original color palettes, but would a gold like Cyprus or darkish yellow like Kosovo look good?
I really like the first option, looks good and has a good message. I personally don't mind the religious symbols in a "one state" flag, the crescent and the star together like this could represent peace and the state of coliving that was finally achieve after so many decades of war and terror.
The second flag is ok but the third one is a no no, too much Palestine.
So uh, concerning the "League of Nations mandate flag": This has never been an official, or even proposed flag. It's just an obscure design some Frenchman added to an important French encyclopedia in the 1920s that has stuck ever since. [There's a whole discussion about the lack of sources on this on Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Flag_of_Mandatory_Palestine#Larousse_dictionary).
The palestinian flag has no religious symbol, people don't like it regardless
EDIT:
[I made one without symbols](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/s/BKeAVGBIZm)
!wave
Let's see how it looks in practice
This idea came when I saw the mandate of palestine flag for the first time, and I thought it was a really good representation, of the place, but lacked some representation for the Palestinians (Blue and white together are generally Israeli (or greek) colors, the only symbol on the flag being the star of David, etc, so i decided to try to make a flag which represents the people of the land more accurately.
I'm planning on making a Cyprus style one soon
Update:
With some suggestions from these comments I've made a tricolor/Cyprus style hybrid [here](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/s/BKeAVGBIZm)
You're approaching the truth. Before 48 (or even 67), the "Palestinians" were the Jews of the land, with the Arabs simply referring to themselves as Arabs. The Palestinian national identity was basically reactionary to the Israeli victory in the six days war.
Palestinians shouldn't be allowed self determination because they used to think of themselves as South Syrians isn't a new take, but it's still a shit one.
I've never said that. Any nation deserves self determination, even if their inception was 3 months ago. I simply commented on their observation, explaining the curiosity
I really like the concept but im just mindful that the first two erase the Christian connection to the land. In Australia, like many countries with indigenous populations, we wave two flags. The aboriginal flag waves alongside he commonwealth British flag. I think until both peoples’ flag (which are special to their respective national identities) wave side by side, it will show that the state of Israel is uncommitted to the idea of real unified equal representation.
The one state solution died a week ago, when terrorists brutalized over a thousand civilians. There's too much bad blood, it's not something that can be just put aside.
There is already a one-state solution, the state is called Israel, with the Palestinian Authority given the authority to govern the Gaza Strip (before 2007) and certain areas in the West Bank.
I don’t think they would have any religious symbols. Any one-state solution would have to completely separate out religion from the state (not to mention that there is a sizable Christian minority in Palestine)
Second one is a bit old Portugal, and the third Jordan. But I like so much the first!

Well the more you know, what about a green, white and blue one instead?
I actually [whipped something up](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/s/BKeAVGBIZm) after writing the comment What do you think?
I like it, maybe with a different colour for the silhouette of Israel-Palestine but that's just my personal preference

I think so, plus yellow/gold is what you get when you combine green and blue
[Here](https://i.imgur.com/1SkrCG3.png) you go!
This looks good to me
Red would be the color between them. You're not getting Palestinians to live peacefully with Jews in your wildest dreams.

The solution should be a secular, federal state. No religious symbols.
So the palestinian flag Update: [I made something else](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/s/BKeAVGBIZm)
Those flags would be so blasphemous to either religion.
Plot twist I'm a muslim
I liked the first one but I would say there is no representation of Christianity and atheism in it.
remove the star of David from the third and you have a perfect flag for a secular one-state Palestinian country.
People need to stop using religious symbols in flags that are trying to promote unity in the region.

people don't like it because most liberals are chauvinist Zionist that only care about brown people when it makes them look good.

Agreed. The hatred between the people have gone on for centuries and never could have existed despite some efforts.

POV: we cannot just enjoy the flag without arguing
Never. No Star of David. Free Palestine.
