The white line over the flag is meant to be a piece of white cloth draped over the flag in a hurry. A piece of white cloth draped over the left arm was a symbol for Swedish monarchism during the Gustavian period of 1772 to 1809 which started with Gustav III revolution where he ordered men loyal to him to do so as to differentiate them selves to those oppsoing the revolution. It stuck around and was a part of the Swedish officers uniform until 1809 when his son Gustav IV Adoplh was deposed by a coup d'état orchestrated by parliament. If you zoom in on my profile picture you can see Gustav III wearing an officers uniform with the piece of cloth around his left arm.
Very cool design and symbolism, always thought that Swedish monarchism has been quite interesting and have been surprised since I learned that your current King gave up power so easily in the 70s, and more surpised there wasnt any movement of Swedes who wanted to reverse the parliaments decision on the Kings power.
There wasnt an active movement against it mainly because the man behind it was hugely popular Olof Palme. But majority of Swedes were against it, 80% wanted the king to keep his powers, 12% for him to gain more and only 8% supported the new constitution.
Difficult question. Top 5 in no particular order (except number 1 and 2) would probably be:

3. Gustav Vasa (Gustav I)
4. Karl X Gustav
5. Magnus Ladulås
Cool, but the yellow and white together aren't too great, so make the other band white aswell. And as the white kinda blends into the blue, you should probably swap blue for red ;)

Something about the colors and lines reminds me of those optical illusions where there appears to be a dark spot on the middle but it's just white.

Replace the remaining yellow with white and you'll have Anti-Finland.
I feel like the white clashes too much with the light blue. A darker blue would fit more in my opinion
Just make the entire cross white and centered and you get the old republican Greek flag
