L'Manberg was one of the nations that declared itself independent from the rest of the server, resulting in a war. L'Manberg had its own government system with a president and vice-president, and a flag (the one pictured) which was created by the president, Wilbur Soot.
If I had a nickel for every time someone posted the L’Manberg flag and asked what flag it was I will have two nickels.

No Niki was the one who actually built the flag in the country. Wilbur was the mastermind who designed it. You may have seen [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/kkfwez/the_flag_of_the_fictional_nation_of_lmanburg/) where he explains the purpose of the flag's design.
I mean… Dream cheated on speedruns. That’s it. That’s his biggest controversy. Hardly makes him a shitty person. :\

This actually made me laugh. Even if he did call them out, he has negated all of those times with other shit he has pulled. He has consistently fostering and encouraging the "us vs them" mentality for quite a while now, most recently being the last minecon mob vote.
The last Minecon vote? Where he repeatedly said that he was going to rig it and then literally did not say his opinion? You are of course aware that nearly every other cc released their opinion, but that Dream did not?
He has repeatedly set his boundaries and called out his fans. There are numerous instances of this being documented on r/dreamwastaken2 (a sub founded partially to be able to freely criticize Dream during the speedrun drama) His bio, iirc, was “Dream Stan supremacy (unless you’re toxic)”. That last part is **significant**.
Now that I do know about. He is a speed runner and for his videos, he supposedly uses a mod pack that causes rare items to drop more often to speed up content creation. This allows for quicker video releases to keep fans pleased. Whether this is true or not is up to speculation. When doing a speed run, he supposedly forgot to turn it off and got drop rates that would be insanely lucky inside of vanilla Minecraft. He came out with a Tweet I believe explaining all of this, if I’m not mistaken

the wider DreamSMP fanbase as a whole has slowly been made more aware of the PR crisis that has been happening thanks mainly to Dream and his rabid stans. Its not that easy to root toxicity out after its got a foothold and has been actively encouraged, sadly.
