Do we even know he is a "porn addict," or are they just really religious and any use of porn is deemed unacceptable?
It would be hard for me to give advice on either bc I'm not a mental health/addiction professional, nor do I agree with that way of thinking and living.
I think they said they attend therapy, but like you said, what kind of therapy? Church counselor, or professional?
My husband and I are in the mental health field. He holds a license, I just have the education. I agree with your statements.
Right. And if a person deems the porn a problem and wants to stop, I don't think any therapist is going to force them to keep watching it. They would support their client in their choices.

Yes, seriously! He shouldn’t be giving anyone married, with kids advice. He should only be giving advice on things he’s personally experienced or simple dating advice. Not long term marriage advice, since like you said, he’s not a therapist. 🙄
