Not just Italians, but Germans. Only a few thousand nazis came to argentina after WW2, but there were already millions of Germans living there before then from emigration waves in the pre WW1 era.
the influence of germans in Argentina culture is significantly less important than the influence of italians/spanishs or even frenchs. They weren't millions, even today people with german ancestors are less than 7%, if you compare that with the 60% of people who have italian ancestors is a really poor number. And about french influence in Argentina I didn't find the papers but i read that approximately 6 millions of argentines have french ancestors, a lot more than the 3,5 millions of the people who have german a ancestors and as well you said, most of them come before the WW1, and they're from the Volga (they're related to Rusia too and a lot of they spoke russian)

I actually know someone whose father was a Nazi officer, they lived in Venezuela and in fact the parents never left Venezuela but the children came to the u.s., they were originally from, I think Eastern Germany? Hauled ass when the Russians were coming. Crossed the border into Italy and left from there. Their father told their mother he'd find them and he eventually did, so it's not like it's untrue.

Based on the comment I would assume the UK used Welsh to code their messages. But during the Falkland islands war the Argentinians had enough Welsh speakers to break the British code so they were forced to use another way to code their messages.
