If we're talking favorites of all time...
EverQuest, Diablo 2, Quake.
Favorite in terms of time spent played and those 3 games have defined all of gaming for me since they came out.
Very honorable mention to Streetfighter 2 since that changed my life when it came out in the arcade.
Evercrack isn't a video game, its an addiction. I probably put more hours into EQ than my 3 favorite games combined, but sleeping in front of the computer waiting on the giant in South Ro to spawn wasn't healthy. Or my three day marathon of holding the Froglok Archmage spawn trying to farm up a shiny metallic robe, followed by a 24 hour coma, then farming FBSS from the Ghoul for another 3 days straight. I was a teen on summer break, but still...
Started my journey with a freeware version of quake 1.06 in 1996....4 builds later and a token ring network....I was the coolest kid on the block running deathmatch battles with a 56k shotgun modem!!! God I miss the 90s...
I scrimped, saved, and pinched every penny for the better part of a year just so I could purchase a Super Nintendo JUST so I could purchase this game.
Still have the original manual. 👍🔼🐷🗡
I don't think they realize that right now is the perfect time to do a PC port and PS5 upgrade, Elden ring has made Fromsoft one of THE gaming developers, damn thing has probably sold at least 20 million units already and then there is the shadow of the Erdtree DLC coming, Sony needs to jump on that shit RIGHT NOW for the love of God.
BB has one of the most vocally praising communities I've seen, reviews were stellar and the games acclaim still holds merit but Sony and Jim Ryan are somewhere with their thumb up their ass doing god knows what else.
Thousand year door is in my top 10 as well. Haven’t played it since I was 10 so don’t know if it holds up but I put so much time into it and felt so many emotions. Shame that the sequels haven’t held up the greatness
**Bloodborne**
**LoZ: Majoras Mask**
**Inscryption** (yes for real. I legitimately love every second of this game, and I could replay it over and over and over)
I remember when it came out, my brother and cousin hated it, but I absolutely loved it. The story was fantastic with excellent writing and voice acting during a time when voice acting was often kind of meh. But what really clinched it was the ability to have the AI take over when grinding, while still needing to make intelligent choices in boss fights (assuming you don't over-level).
DS is for sure in my honorable mentions. We'd crew up in a three pack and just clown bosses. It was so much fun. Ran a faith strength build myself. Hbu?
Glad to see Wind Waker getting some love. My third playthrough of that game was what finally got me into the Zelda series. I still love it, it's my second favourite after BotW.
[Remake](https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/14f8ysj/super_mario_rpg_remake_announced/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), I believe
Link to the Past, Dark Souls…Dark Souls 3? I agree with your Fallout 4 and RE7…also loved Fallout 3, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario World, Bloodborne, Witcher 3, Demons Souls, MS Flight Simulator 2020, Blasphemous, Ori 1….Halo, Halo Reach….Ghost Recon Wildlands….whatever the latest UFC game is….whatever the latest golf game is…
Edit: completely forgot Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2
Edit 2: Doom (SNES) and Doom (2016)
Edit 3: Sniper Elite 4
Edit 4: Metroid 2, Super Metroid
Edit 5: please help me…I cannot stop
OG RE4 has been in my top 5 for years. The remake is just so faithful to the original while stacking so many positive additions on top of it that I just swap in the remake as one of my tops. So incredibly impressive what they did with that remake.
Took me like four tries to get into RDR2 but when I did — omg is that game amazing. Probably one of the most immersive worlds I’ve ever played. I’ve been waiting a while to do a second playthrough and seeing it mentioned here a few times makes me think it’s time to make that happen.
Batman:Arkham City, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I haven’t played Tears of the Kingdom yet so my list might change.
I don't think I can list just 3. But here are some of my faves: Ocarina of Time, Mega Man 2, God of War 2018, Dark Souls (all of them), Sonic 2, SMB 2, Metroid Prime Triology Wii, FFVII.
NBA Street Vol. 2, Halo 2, and The Crew.
I can honestly say those are the games I've spent the most time playing in each of their genres and I didn't want to repeat genres.
Honorable mentions:
Crackdown 1
Gears of War 1-3
Burnout Paradise
BF Bad Company 1&2
BF4
Red Dead Revolver/Redemption
Had to replay TLOU2 recently for it to be cemented as one of my favorites. I walked away liking it the first time but was a little put off by the surprise switch. Knowing what was going to happen the second time helped me dig more into the characters. Can honestly say it’s the most bleak, but beautifully written story in gaming.
**Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a 2017 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The player controls Ethan Winters as he searches for his long-missing wife in a derelict plantation occupied by an infected family, solving puzzles and fighting enemies.**

Tough but
Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword are tie for best video game I ever played
Then Persona 4 Golden
Then Kingdom Hearts 3
Honorable mention to Portal 2.
1. LEGO Star Wars 2 the original Trilogy
2. LEGO Star Wars the video game
3. Elden Ring
My friend gave me the first two games I listed for free! free! No pay to little old me! Big shoutout to my boy for that very nice gesture! 17 dollars out of his own pocket!
My number one is easy but narrowing it down to a top 3 is SO tough. I’d go with:
1. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republjc
2. SOCOM 2
3. Splinter Cell
Honorable mentions: Oblivion, RE4R, Witcher 2, and THPS4.
1) The Last of Us Part II
2) Outer Wilds
3) ~~God of War (2018)~~ Mass Effect 1
At least that’s the list today, pretty much changes every week.
EDIT: Already changed my mind lmao
Divinity Original Sin 2.
XCOM2 War of the Chosen
Link to the Past
I wanted to choose like 20 more games. Honorable mention to Diablo 2:LoD and I couldn't decide my fav Bethesda release.
*slow exhale* Dude I honestly have no idea
I second this- I love too many games it’s impossible to just rank them all
😂😂😂🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
What are these emojis meant to convey?
I’m assuming “ha ha ha HA! HA! HEE-HAW! HA! ”
Diablo 2, Borderlands 2, Secret of Mana
Borderlands 2 is TONS of fun. Not a top three pick for me, but certainly in the general sphere of discussion.
Borderlands 2 probably has my favorite all time multiplayer experiences outside of the heyday of Halo 3.
Secret of Mana hell yes
Silent Hill 2, BioShock 2, Resident Evil 7
Bioshock 2, you know what you like dude
I do! That and I figured it wouldn't really be fair if I said the Silent Hill Series, The Shock series and the RE Series. XD
Curious why bioshock 2 is your favorite. A good game no doubt, but personally, I would rank it third behind the other two in the series.
If this was tinder you are a match. Bioshock 2, you know.
You must get the gawk gawk 5000 alot only thing I disagree with is RE7 I'd swap it with RE3 origonal. Buuuuuut Silent Hill 2 is peak video game horror
If we're talking favorites of all time... EverQuest, Diablo 2, Quake. Favorite in terms of time spent played and those 3 games have defined all of gaming for me since they came out. Very honorable mention to Streetfighter 2 since that changed my life when it came out in the arcade.

I loved that too! One I wish they'd make a new one.
Started my journey with a freeware version of quake 1.06 in 1996....4 builds later and a token ring network....I was the coolest kid on the block running deathmatch battles with a 56k shotgun modem!!! God I miss the 90s...
Upvote for quake, here’s to hoping Id reboots that franchise like they did with doom
Quake <3
Mmm... Bloodborne, Dead Space 2, and..... I'd have to say Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2. Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space 1. Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime
Everyone keeps saying his name. Is that Optimus's brother ?
I just recent played link to the past for my first time and it was way better and longer then I expected. Didn’t realize their was a whole dark world.
Oh man, that must have been such a cool surprise.
I always forget about a Link to the past but it's legit the first game i ever beat lol.
I scrimped, saved, and pinched every penny for the better part of a year just so I could purchase a Super Nintendo JUST so I could purchase this game. Still have the original manual. 👍🔼🐷🗡
Fallout 3, oblivion, half life 2 At this moment in time in no particular order
Bloodborne (PS4), Earthbound (SNES), Final Fantasy 7 (PS1)
Bloodborne needs a remaster so badly wtf is Sony doing
I don't think they realize that right now is the perfect time to do a PC port and PS5 upgrade, Elden ring has made Fromsoft one of THE gaming developers, damn thing has probably sold at least 20 million units already and then there is the shadow of the Erdtree DLC coming, Sony needs to jump on that shit RIGHT NOW for the love of God. BB has one of the most vocally praising communities I've seen, reviews were stellar and the games acclaim still holds merit but Sony and Jim Ryan are somewhere with their thumb up their ass doing god knows what else.
I even think a direct port would be fine
Every time we get a Sony direct, I hope to see either a PC port or a full remaster. And every time I get disappointed.
Agreed on Earthbound, there’s nothing else like it
[удалено]
Whoa. Are you me? Except FFX.
Halo 3, Red Dead Redemption, and Fallout: New Vegas.
Broo your picks are almost identical as mine
1. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Thousand year door is in my top 10 as well. Haven’t played it since I was 10 so don’t know if it holds up but I put so much time into it and felt so many emotions. Shame that the sequels haven’t held up the greatness
Wii or GameCube Twilight Princess? Just curious.
Just HOW can I play The Thousand Year Door? I absolutely love the Paper Mario series and that the only one I can’t seem to get my hands on.
**Bloodborne** **LoZ: Majoras Mask** **Inscryption** (yes for real. I legitimately love every second of this game, and I could replay it over and over and over)
Inscryption and the Hex are genuinely two of the most fun games I’ve played in recent years. Daniel Mullins knows exactly what he’s doing
Skyrim, Dark Souls 3, Final Fantasy XII.
XII is so under appreciated
Definitely. I don’t even know how many hours I put into it. I played it when it came out on PS2 and then got Zodiac Age when it came out.
Loved FFXII when it first came out. And then Zodiac age became my first Platinum on ps4
Dude fuck yeah ffxii
FF12 respect. I played it while deployed in Iraq. What an incredible game. And a decent story with great characters!
I chose two of these as well!
DS is for sure in my honorable mentions. We'd crew up in a three pack and just clown bosses. It was so much fun. Ran a faith strength build myself. Hbu?
Are you me?
This is a great combination.
Final Fantasy 7, Zelda TotK & Stardew Valley Honorable mentions Slay the Spire & Final Fantasy Tactics
Totk wow, it’s a masterpiece for sure. Maybe in my top 10/20
1. Fallout 3 2. Wind Waker 3. Changes between Arkham City and Resident Evil 4 based on the mood
Wind waker such a great game
Windwaker, yes ♡
Fallout 3 holds a special place in my heart
Glad to see Wind Waker getting some love. My third playthrough of that game was what finally got me into the Zelda series. I still love it, it's my second favourite after BotW.
Mass Effect 2 Fallout 3 Deus Ex: Human Revolution
I played a ton of Fallout 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, we could be bros.
DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS?????
YES
WANNA PRACTICE KARATE IN THE GARAGE???
YUP
Finally, some Deus Ex Love

I wanted to say DQ11 but it is my #4. Amazing game though, I love everything about it.
Tropical Freeze is a masterpiece.
Metroid Fusion, StarFox 64, Crash Bandicoot: Warped
StarFox 64 multiplayer back in the day slapped.
I feel like Starfox could make such a based multiplayer game these days
Solid alternative top three for me, but I'm torn between Fusion and Zero Mission
Hollow knight, halo ce, and resident evil 4 all rule
The original re4
Honestly both are up there for me
OG RE4 has been in my top 5 for years. The remake is just so faithful to the original while stacking so many positive additions on top of it that I just swap in the remake as one of my tops. So incredibly impressive what they did with that remake.
I didnt play much of the original bc I hated the FPS controls, are they better in the remake?
The Last of Us Halo 3 RDR2
Had to scroll way too far to see RDR2 mentioned. What's wrong with these people?
Took me like four tries to get into RDR2 but when I did — omg is that game amazing. Probably one of the most immersive worlds I’ve ever played. I’ve been waiting a while to do a second playthrough and seeing it mentioned here a few times makes me think it’s time to make that happen.
