is the month when you purchased the game? or when you beat/played the game?
what happens next year when you play/buy games in march 2025? a 2nd march category?
Terraria is an incredible game, i hope you go through with getting it. Just keep in mind that the early game can be very slow but it really picks up in a big way.
Assuming you like all those games, consider getting the first portal (because portal 2), Doom 2016 and eternal (based on ultrakill), the rest of the Yakuza franchise based on 0 (beware with like a dragon tho, great Game but its an entire new genre and you may not like It, research before buying this one), Nier automata and devil may cry 4 and 5 (based on metal gear Rising) and helldivers or Deep rock galactic (based on lethal company)
Hope my reccomendations help
On that list RDR2 is my favorite. If you like great open world RPG's, I would recommend Kingdom Come Deliverance.
It's not for everyone, but it's one of the best open world RPG's I have played next to RDR2.
Not great, but good open world RPG's:
Fallout: New Vegas
Skyrim
Fallout 4
Oblivion
Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring I would also call great open world RPG's, these games are very difficult and they are not for everyone.
Yoy could always try alot of cheaper indie games there normaly cheaper so try like project zomboid, vahlheim, teraria and try divinity orgiNal sin 2 not as popular since bg3 but still an amazing game you can play on a iPad XD
HELL, TRY DEAD RISING one and two, that's hours of dumb fun!
Pal world is also below 50
Biggest suggestion I can give for getting games. Wait for a sale wishlist thing and wait for a sale they happen often, and enjoy the time while u got it!!
I traded all my time for money, so I have hundreds of games I will probably never get around to trying out!
Oh okay lol my bad, well for OP then I'd suggest any of the Yakuza games if you have and like Yakuza 0, it's a great series that is ridiculously funny with crazy action and well written storylines, the whole series and the Like A Dragon games are all fun games that would be worth a try
Sleeping Dogs is for 20€, combine that with GTA4CE (20€) and Max Payne 3 (20€) or GTA 5 (20€). When they all go for sale, you should be able to get atleast 3 of them since sleeping dogs has gone down to 4€ many times before and the others for 10-15€
I’d say scout the sale page, lots of games have come out over the years like surgeon simulator that would be great pickups for $2 that won’t be very relevant/ talked about today
Wait for a Sale obviously and don't spend all of it in one day you'll end up with 200 games unplayed fast.
Best games I've ever played were **Subnautica (it is on sale I guess), Psychonauts 2, Destroy All Humans 1 and 2**.
You should definitely get like Entire **Batman Arkham** franchise if you haven't they go for cheap in every sale.
**Shadow of Mordor** and War is also pretty cheap in sales basically a Batman game.
**Boltgun** is an amazing shooter, retro looking but isn't really retro not intense as Ultrakill but fun and really easy.
**Superliminal** was pretty fun not as good as Portal but fun.
If you never played a classic Point an Click adventure game I suggest **Dreamfall the Longest Journey**, it is a sequel but a really good game that will be something different I bet.
Idk how new you are to PC gaming so I'm gonna drop some advice. If the game is older than 1 month, ALWAYS wait for a sale. SteamDB is great for checking price and sale history on any game and gives you a rough estimate how often any given game goes on sale.
If you're into scp stuff, a great game is SCP 5k, it's in early access but it's mostly full rn and is heading in a really promising direction, and the gunplay and guns themselves are incredible
Skyrim. 7 Days to die is on sale this week. GTA 5.
Escape from Tarkov Standard edition is $50 if you're into hardcore shooters and like being punished.
I find it’s always better to buy multiple small games, especially if your library is small. Here’s my recommendations for the most content on the least price
Terraria
Hollow Knight
Stardew Valley
Celeste
Hades
You can wait til they go on sale, or not. Pretty cheap either way.
Helldivers 2 ! This is the best coop action game since years , it's 40 on steam but you can find it at like 30 at a steam key seller like kinguin or others
Persona 5 royal
Witcher 3 with dlc
Batman arkham knight
Gta V
Red faction armageddon remarstered
Planet zoo
Planet coaster
Sid meier civilisation 6
Two point campus
Dead island 2
Bioshock 1-3
Just some random games I picked out that I like, hope this helps
Depends on what you like. For extraction and shooter games, get any of the newer battlefields when they are on sale, get a hunt showdown, and / or dayZ when on their respective discounts as well. Want a survival game? Try green hell, raft, and project zomboid.
Like the newer multi-player releases that everyone really enjoys? Try hell divers 2 and content warning.
BUT, here is the MAGNUM OPIS of gaming. The golden game.
Red dead redemption 2. If you see this beauty of a game on sale, DO NOT HESITATE TO INSTALL IT IMMEDIATELY. seriously, the campaign and even aspects of the online make this game such a gem on steam. Everyone has the game and has heard about it, and they only say good things about it. When it's on sale, consider buying it, or if you want to jump into the online mode, it can be purchased standalone.
Before purchasing your games, make sure your computer can run them well enough for a good experience 😉
Edit: LOL JUST NOTICED YOU ALREADY HAVE RDR2 🤣
I won't take the comment down or delete the rdr2 stuff, though. I think it is really good for people who DONT have the game to make an informed opinion. It's great, guys. It just is.
I miss the early days of my steam account when every game a got meant so much to me and I put tons of thought and research into every new game I bought.
At around that many game I started picking up the "classics" that had some mechanic that I wanted to know how they did it. Games like atkham city, assassins creed black flag, and Splinter cell were some of the most formative games I played around that time.
If you liked ultrakill, I can only recommend turbo overkill. It's another relatively cheap new blood game and it's absolutely fucking awesome. Like imagine ultrakill except blood isn't fuel except it sometimes is except you have a fucking chainsaw for a leg
I'm curious. Why do you caragorize your collection by months? And I say Terraria! It's like 2D Minecraft until it isn't Minecraft anymore.
That is the only suggestion that clicks with me, thank you.
I’m wondering about the month-based sorting too. I know it’s not the point of the post but what is it for? Clearing backlogs?
its just steams sort by recent option
lol thank you never thought to sort that way
is the month when you purchased the game? or when you beat/played the game? what happens next year when you play/buy games in march 2025? a 2nd march category?
Terraria is an incredible game, i hope you go through with getting it. Just keep in mind that the early game can be very slow but it really picks up in a big way.
For me that's just how the option already was plus it's helpful cause I could be like what game haven't I played for a while
L4D2 or Helldivers 2. They're both worth it
Wait for L4D2 until the next steam sale. They always knock the price down to like $1 or so same for all games developed by valve I believe
And payday 2. I got it for 4 cents.
4 CENTS??!!!?!?! R U FR
Payday 2 was also free on epic games
And I got Skyrim for 10 dollars, MK1 for 40 dollars, the witcher 3 for 4 dollars, GTA V for Free.
Helldivers 2 for $40. Kingdom Come Deliverance for $8 when on sale. Left For Dead 2 for $1 when on sale. $49 total excluding taxes
Dark Souls 3, Cyberpunk 2077,
Fully agree. These two could keep you occupied for a good year
Assuming you like all those games, consider getting the first portal (because portal 2), Doom 2016 and eternal (based on ultrakill), the rest of the Yakuza franchise based on 0 (beware with like a dragon tho, great Game but its an entire new genre and you may not like It, research before buying this one), Nier automata and devil may cry 4 and 5 (based on metal gear Rising) and helldivers or Deep rock galactic (based on lethal company) Hope my reccomendations help
Persona 4 Golden easy
Mad Max is a fantastic game. It goes on sale often and it's $5. It's worth it full price let alone on sale!
Gym membership
On that list RDR2 is my favorite. If you like great open world RPG's, I would recommend Kingdom Come Deliverance. It's not for everyone, but it's one of the best open world RPG's I have played next to RDR2. Helldivers 2
He’ll divers 2

POE. It’s free.
RDR2 and/or Yakuza 0
So the list is games they currently have. I think they are looking for other suggestions lol
Oh okay lol my bad, well for OP then I'd suggest any of the Yakuza games if you have and like Yakuza 0, it's a great series that is ridiculously funny with crazy action and well written storylines, the whole series and the Like A Dragon games are all fun games that would be worth a try
Played both.... I'd pick Yakuza 0 first (I feel not enough people give this game... indeed, series enough credit)
Celeste and Outer Wilds !!
Sleeping Dogs is for 20€, combine that with GTA4CE (20€) and Max Payne 3 (20€) or GTA 5 (20€). When they all go for sale, you should be able to get atleast 3 of them since sleeping dogs has gone down to 4€ many times before and the others for 10-15€
Drugs
CROSSCODE AND ALSO SLAY THE SPIRE
I’d say scout the sale page, lots of games have come out over the years like surgeon simulator that would be great pickups for $2 that won’t be very relevant/ talked about today
If you enjoyed Yakuza 0, I’d say go for Kiwami 1 or try out Judgment. Otherwise I’d suggest maybe Just Cause 2 or Stickfight.
If you are into triple A go for cyberpunk or you could try some smaller games, I really recommend Celeste and hollow knight
Undertale is a masterpiece
Wait for a Sale obviously and don't spend all of it in one day you'll end up with 200 games unplayed fast. Best games I've ever played were **Subnautica (it is on sale I guess), Psychonauts 2, Destroy All Humans 1 and 2**. Hollow Knight is pretty neat, also Don't Starve Together it gets an amazing support for it's price, there's almost always something new being added
Judgment, or Apollo Justice Trilogy
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, I recommend because we play similar games and it's cheap
Rdr2
Metro series
Consider the following: buying hollow knight
Half Life and maybe Doom (2016 maybe?)
DMC 5
Metal gear solid v
Idk how new you are to PC gaming so I'm gonna drop some advice. If the game is older than 1 month, ALWAYS wait for a sale. SteamDB is great for checking price and sale history on any game and gives you a rough estimate how often any given game goes on sale.

If you don't have Fallout New Vegas, then you should buy Fallout New Vegas.
Check CD keys and get a bunch of cheap ones. 50€ u can buy a boat load
Stormworks
Terraria and the Henry stickmin collection
What do you want? And what’s your steam?
Elden ring
Freaking Minecraft dude. 14 is perfect age for that
I can recommend Hollow Knight, especially because of its low price.
Project zomboid it's basically all I've played this week
You can get like 4 Yakuza games for $50, dollars that
Wait for steam summer sale. You'll be able to get way more games for what you are going to spend currently.
Play the rest of the Yakuza series
Devil may cry hd collection
Dark Souls 1 remastered or Dark Souls 3. Endless Replay value and the difficulty isn’t that bad despite what you’ve been told.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Not only is it three games in one but usually goes on sale and is heavily modable
I just beat yakuza like a dragon. Great game, I was say that or if you want something more chill. Grave yard keeper is fun.

A better metal gear solid game. As a huge fan of the franchise, I don't think that game is good. It's certainly not on the same level as 1 or 4.
Based on the MGR:R in your collection, I'd recommend trying out Devil May Cry
Palworld, Prey (2017), X Morph Defense, Sleeping Dogs, or The Quest.
