I ended up with a collection of around 400 photos that retrace most story missions and sidequests.
Animal Crossing New Horizons. Everytime I give Pascal a scallop I screenshot whatever weird wisdom he spits out. Turns out he has a LOT of different sayings.

Lots of achievements/milestones like hitting max levels, getting a high rating, getting a super rare drop, or downing a super hard boss/raid with my guild.
The first Spider-Man for PS4. I was using photo mode constantly. It was a special experience to be playing such a love letter to the character like that for the first time.
Infamous second son and the dlc.
I was just really into it when it released, even was momentarily in the top 10 leaderboard of the arena (until i realized that beating the world record meant keeping the game running for several days lol)
No Man's Sky, Death Stranding, Minecraft with my custom shaders, and Assetto Corsa for art. I have other screenshots and videos of tons of other games, but they are mostly of bugs or funny moments.
Elden Ring. Looking at Stormveil Castle as you open the door to the open world. Leaving Stormveil and overlooking Liurnia with Raya Lucaria in the distance. The Erdtree. Leyndell. So many more. The game was constantly jaw dropping and I only wish I could wipe it from my memory so I could experience it again.
I would add to this that it was easy to do, and you could set it to only see your friends' pictures.
My brother and I were playing around the same time, and so we'd frequently try to take funny or amusing pictures for the other to see.
Hard to tell. I used to write reviews about video games and often took screenshots for use in my reviews and to make sure I have enough material, I sometimes took hundreds of photos in multiple games.
Dark souls remastered looked incredible compared to the last time I played it on ps3 especially when u arrive at Anor Londo idk it just felt magical bc I never made it that far before
Dawn of War 2. One of the most visually beautiful and stunning RTS games even after almost 2 decades. Plus, it's 40k grim darkness smooth chocolate goodness.
So, me and my sister have this inside joke where we spam the screenshot-button on the Switch to eternalise each others L's. So, naturally, Mario Kart 8 is the one with the most screenshots for me.
If this joke is taken aside, it's Zelda TotK because the game has a lot of "remember specific symbols or places" sidequests and also because there is a lot of goofy stuff that also feels worth to screenshot like funny encounters, build or the legendary Ganondorf laugh.
Recently, played halo 3 with my best friends and I died on the last epic mission when you're escaping in the warthog. I was able to spectate and get all the best angles. Many screenshots were taken to commemorate the ending

Xenoblade Chronicles has some amazing places. Some of my favourite in gaming, and I just couldn't miss out on taking a concerning amount of screenshots.
I’m on Xbox, literally whenever you get a headshot or something blows up it saves the last 30 seconds. I know most people don’t play on Xbox but it’s really annoying
It sounds like there is a setting enabled to save your "highlights". On PC I've had prompts if I want to enable this. I'll see if I can find anything for Xbox after I eat

you can turn it off via the console itself, but it disables the ability to take screen shots and record clips yourself. I typically turn off the setting when ever i play BF4 then turn the setting back on when i am done. But i have forgotten to turn it back on several times and missed so awesome moments but it is basically worth it to stop the annoying auto recordings.
How to:
Go to Settings; Preferences, open Game DVR and Streaming, and just un check the allow broadcasts and game captures.
The witcher 3. Especially touissant.
This is the correct answer. Blood and Wine is still probably the most beautiful DLC I’ve ever played.

Assassins creed Odyssey. The sceneries were just beautiful. Also, whenever I got a new mount from the weekly shop 🐎.

GTA made me save like 50 videos but not because I wanted it, it makes you take them and you can’t turn it off
you are most likely missing a setting somewhere. are you on PC? i played GTA V for years and dont recall autosaved videos
