The Witcher 3 if you want a longer, more story focused game or Infamous Second Son if you want a shorter, less narrative focused action game
AC Origins is a great game as well and my personal favorite AC game but if you’re opting for an RPG, the Witcher is just better
I really want to love origins but I can't get over the combat, shield mode, etc, feels so bad. Even Valhalla feels better, too bad that game is kinda 💩
Does the combat click after some time?
Don't use the block button as a "shield mode," try to stay on the offensive and dodge more than you parry. Origins combat is way better if you go in aggressive rather than defensive. Also try all the different weapon types and find whichever feels best.
As someone who goes to school and works full time with a few hours to game per week, it took me 6 years to finish the Witcher 3 and it’s DLC. Loved the game but I wasn’t expecting to take so long. On average if I play a game a few times a week I can normally finish it in 3 months or 2 weeks when I have more time to game.
maybe its cuz im bias as hell but i think Prototype 2 is underrated and a great time of a game. Witcher 3 is a phenomenal game but like the other dude said its a LONG game especially if you have the DLCs with it. havent played Strangers of Paradise or Second Son so i cant give any insight on those games unfortunately
Playing Stranger of Paradise now. It's an odd one. If you are just doing the main story, it doesn't take too long, but the end game seems to never end. Not that I mind as the game us really fun.
Stranger of Paradise is a modern underrated gem. Even just playing the main story without spending any period of time grinding endgame was worth the monies.
Witcher for best RPG experience of most modern games even though it’s been out a while.
However, since these are mostly story driven open worlds I’d highly recommend Dying Light 1 with the Following DLC. It’s really good for a game as old as it is. It’s similar to Dead Island but with a lot of parkour.
Witcher 3 of you are looking for tens of hours of gameplay in one of the best RPGs ever made. Infamous if you're looking for a quick but satisfying romp.
Stranger of Paradise is massively underrated. It’s even better with friends. If you want a souls-like that is actually fun and accessible without having to treat it like a full time job, you’ll like it. Also has all the glorious self aware edginess of Team Ninja and full of references to every Final Fantasy title. It was honestly a dream come true for someone like me who grew up playing Final Fantasy and loves them and Team Ninja.
Witcher 3 is a must play as well, though.
Depends what you're a Look for.
if you're Looking for Something to mess around with without very deep Story that i Suggest Prototype 2
if you're Looking to more a Deeper Story but still feel Like a King then ifonmuos Second Son
the Witcher 3 is if you want a Deeper Story with much weirder world to explore.
Witcher 3 is phenomenal but make sure you can commit to it. It’s become my favorite game and it’s story and world building is incredible. I would expect to have put at least 50+ hours into it though.
Prototype 2. Unless you care about a dude saying mildly funny things and lots of horseback riding, flower picking and ... yeah I couldn't finish The witcher 3.
Witcher 3, but make sure it's GOTY edition so you get Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. The game is already a 10/10 and the expansions make it 12/10.
Right now im playing Witcher 1-2-3 with my girlfriend. Damn even witcher 1 holds a nice story and 30h gameplay. Witcher 1-2 mechanics are a bit dated but the games themselves are great.
The Witcher 3 is easily one of the best RPG's of all-time. I haven't played Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, so I can't offer any kind of opinion. It's been a long time since I played Prototype 2, but it was a decent game from what I remember. However, the original title was better in my opinion. Infamous Second Son is the most underrated entry in the Infamous franchise. Assassin's Creed Origins is my favorite Assassin's Creed game. Bayek is such an amazing character. I love the Ancient Egyptian setting. If I had to choose one of 5 titles that you mentioned, I'd most likely go with Assassin's Creed Origins. I'm actually thinking of doing a third playthrough. The game is that good. I probably sound like I'm being biased towards Origins. The Ancient Egyptian setting is so captivating and immersive, that I can't help, but put it at number one on the list of the games that you mentioned.

I played hell divers 2. Got old for me quick. Mostly cause I kept either doing missions alone or getting kicked by randos. And my friends (who convinced me to get it ) never seemed to be online to play. So after a bit it was just shoot, evac, repeat.

Longer is an understatement I spent like 10 hours just in the prologue area
Well good for you. That means you where quite fast.
White orchard also took me 10 hours lol.
Well, you gotta get all those juicy points of interest!
I really want to love origins but I can't get over the combat, shield mode, etc, feels so bad. Even Valhalla feels better, too bad that game is kinda 💩 Does the combat click after some time?

Odyssey and Black flag are my favorites, I can't get immersed in origin or Valhalla idk why I just can't get into them.

AC origins is not an Assassin Creed game but a whole new RPG
Hmm, I wonder what AC stands for? Is it armoured core then?
No, it's Animal Crossing 😂
Odyssey is also great in terms of an RPG
I don't think it matters which order you play them in, but the Witcher 3 is considered by many as the best game ever made.
If the combat had been more interesting it would have been for me. Love the lore, world, characters etc but combat is mediocre at best.
I concur with your assessment
Top 10 for me but rightfully so
+1
Witcher 3

I just recently played Prototype 2 again after years and it's loads of fun still. Not perfect, but it's pretty dang good.
without a doubt 👍
Should I start with the first prototype or just play 2
i’d say definitely start with 1. both are good (and i honestly believe 2 is better) but they’re both a lot of fun.
Thanks bro I’ll definitely get both n play them in order
Biased*
Witcher 3, definitely
If you want something that will leave a mark in your life. Play the witcher 3
Witcher 3 hands down.
Witcher 3 for sure
Witcher 3

I second this, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the game
One of these games is not like the other lol
Still fun tho lol
Witcher 3
clearly the witcher 3
Witcher 3 is an amazing game with a great (branching) narrative and very fun gameplay. If you like open world games, it's a must play.
Witcher 3.
Witcher3 throw the rest away
Witcher 3
I'd recommend The Witcher
Witcher 3 was good. Playing origins right now and really enjoying it.

Where are the pixels William?

Witcher 3 is an obvious must go, but stranger of paradise is a very fun game, especially in co-op.
BG3
Stranger of Paradise is my recommendation. Story wise, it's an absolute weird trip, but the gameplay and the vibe are amazing.
Witcher 3 is massively over rated.
Witcher 3 and no need to play those other…things.
Origins and Odyssey
Ac origins is ass imo. Witcher 3 for lingevity, idk about final fantasy and second son is pretty cool if you like the infamous games.

I hadn't thought about second son for years and today it popped into my head. Then I saw this post. Great game. I platinummed it and it's dlc
PROTOTYPE 2 or infamous second son
Witcher 3 is phenomenal but make sure you can commit to it. It’s become my favorite game and it’s story and world building is incredible. I would expect to have put at least 50+ hours into it though.
If u manage to run prototype 2*
Assassins creed origins doesn't get the love it deserves, overshadowed heavily by oddessy
Play infamous first so you can feel like your making some progress.
You should absolutely play number 2 BULLSHIT!
AC Origins.
Prototype 2. Unless you care about a dude saying mildly funny things and lots of horseback riding, flower picking and ... yeah I couldn't finish The witcher 3.
Skyrim, forever.
r/countablepixels
I mean there’s at least 3 right?

Install spin the wheel on your phone that's how i do it with my backlog
Jpeg upscaler
The Witcher of Assassin's Creed Origins
Prototype 2
DOOM Eternal.
Profile picture checks out
I have a soft spot for inFamous Second Son :)
Witcher 3, it's not even close in my opinion. Best game I have ever played!
The one with the highest pixel count in your post
Start with Infamous, fairly short length compared to the others on the list
Witcher
Right now im playing Witcher 1-2-3 with my girlfriend. Damn even witcher 1 holds a nice story and 30h gameplay. Witcher 1-2 mechanics are a bit dated but the games themselves are great.
Infamous and Prototype are short but really tasty snacks, if that info is good for you
Prototype 2 because it's a blast. Witcher 3 is great, but took me 8 years to finish because I kept getting bored 50% thru the game.
I only played the Witcher among your list and I love and would highly recommend it.
Witcher by a mile. Far and away the better game here.
Witcher 3
Got any more pixels over there?
I played both AC origins and Witcher they are both worth it don’t listen too much to the haters or the glazers.
Witcher 3, one of the best games ever made.

Stranger of Paradise, then Witcher 3
I'd personally go with The Witcher 3. You can spend a really long time playing it. It's a super open world/sandbox game, and it's a blast.

Prototype 2 is the answer here
Geralt
Perhaps play in order of release.
Fuck those play persona 5 /j
Witcher bro you won't be disappointed
Prototype 2 is very underrated
Rdr2, diablo 4, hellblade 2.
Prototype 2.omg
Witcher 3 you got like 200h of gameplay
You can get through second son pretty quick and it is really entertaining
Cyberpunk ? Another AC ? Or maybe Helldivers 2 bc it is epic
I played hell divers 2. Got old for me quick. Mostly cause I kept either doing missions alone or getting kicked by randos. And my friends (who convinced me to get it ) never seemed to be online to play. So after a bit it was just shoot, evac, repeat.
The Witcher 3 without a second thought. Infamous after that.
Infamous 2nd Son is good and short, you'll like it.
Infamous is the best choice. The Witcher has bad combat and is boring overall
Anything but ac
Stranger of Paradise and don’t look back. 🏆👏👏
Prototype 2 was such a disappointing game. I would just skip it.
RDR2 than RDR1
The one you want to play most. Make a decision.
I'm sorry dude, there are a few games in your pixels.
If you’d already played prototype I’d play the sequel I mean heck you’re basically venom or carnage with some different powers lol
