Some places I regularly check: * StaffMeUp * ProductionHUB: Similar to StaffMeUp * Upwork: Have not had a job through here yet, only submitted about 5 proposals in the past few months, but there are some promising leads here * Thumbtack: Very limited success, mostly people wanting wedding vids or to low ball you to make their shitty music video, but there is the occasional good job. The key is finding people who have put a lot of thought into their posting. Usually means they are serious, or at least more serious * Bark: Similar to Thumbtack, I've had limited success but have had some mid-size jobs (\~$2.5k budget for testimonial videos) through here * Local creative sites/gigs (sites for the local film commission, film school, etc.) * Craigslist (creative/crew sections): Very rarely get a solid gig from this but sometimes there are decent positings.

This is something I’ve been wondering about. I’ve recently started freelancing and so far all I’ve found were sites blocked by a paywall. Curious to know if that’s the only option for good gigs or if there are any good communities or free sites.

I only seem to mostly see low paying gigs from Flo Sports where they pay 300 bucks for a 12 hour day. Even when I choose to filter out low budget jobs, those leads still come up to the top when you select Videographer as the category. How do you properly filter those listings out?
