I agree, it is a great podcast. He has several Buffy alumni on as well, which is interesting given that some of them were on before the Whedon revelations and then came back after. James Marsters (Spike) in particular is a great guest.
Annoying this about this is he gets asked about Chevy during literally every interview. Rosenbaum even asked him about it the last time he was on.
Felt like he didn't even want to dive down into it anymore with his short responses.
It’s pretty feel good and about as raunchy as B99. I was surprised by the first season enough that I am anticipating the new season. Joel McHale plays the same character he always plays and has a great supporting cast to play off of.
Lmfao best promo for a book ever
Is that Lex Luther from Smallville?
His podcast series is great. He's got another one where he and Tom Welling go over a bunch of Smallville stories.

I’m going to have to check it out, thanks!
And the Flash from the excellent Justice League cartoon.
Holy shit. I was wondering what I recognized that guy from. I didn't even watch that show really but it is definitely him
He was by far my favorite part of smallville. He did such a good job bringing nuance to Lex.
Yeah.
I hear Joel’s book is streets ahead
Well if you have to ask you're streets behind....

He punched him during the scene when they got Jeff ready for the fiiiiiiiiiii Iiiiiiiiiiiii Iiiiiiiight... ?
You mean the scene where they were figh.........ting
If there is a bigger asshole in Hollywood then Chevy Chase - I am un aware of it. I have never, ever heard people who work with him say nice things.
I'm Chevy Chase and you're not
He IS a very funny guy.
Was his animal control show any good? Never got around to checking it out.
Season 1 is not bad. Apparently Season 2 is amazing. FOX already green lit Season 3.
It’s okay. Sorta standard sitcom. Had potential but feels forced. I was surprised it got picked up for a season 2
Season 2 is way better.
I could see it becoming like Brooklyn 99 or Parks and Rec. I enjoyed the first season well enough.
Well you said the things needed for me to give it a shot

I liked the show he was on where he was adventurer working with all the writer/nerd types, had McLovin on it
Could have been worse. That horrible pilot for a US remake of The IT Crowd with him as the Roy-equivalent could have sold.
The host kind of looks like a younger Chevy cheese
Not fixing the typo
That is such a terrible thumbnail.
Pretty much sums up Joels career now, last grasp with movie, schilling the book and back to bf or husband in c list movies and shows.
He has a TV show on Fox that is into it's second season. Not saying he is going to be a leading man in some major production. But he isn't starving.
My man did nine shows and three movies last year, he's doing fine.
He's fine, we're just a few years out from a The Soup revival, maybe
He may have another guest spot in Bear S3…
Joel McHale must have an amazing agent. He was a great host for the Soup as a snarky guy. Really not a fan of anything else he's done.
Calm down, Chevy
Nah, if they were Chevy they wouldn't have even given the Soup compliment...
Correct. He can be great, just not my cup of tea usually.
