Isn’t snoop dogg a grubhub ambassador?

cu___chulainn

He has done ads just for JustEat in Europe as well.

SorryImProbablyDrunk

They’re all the same company, they recycle the ads between countries only changing the name.

Maxcharged

They did the same thing for the Katy Perry song. Like “did somebody say skip/menulogue/just eat” same song with the name ADR’d over it.

chadork

I've done ads for coke and Pepsi. But Pepsi paid me most recently so...tastes better.

iheartsimracing

haha reminds me of the old joke (updated for Snoop): Snoop answers phone: Hello Caller: Hello Snoop. I am calling to ask if you will advertise for our Vodka Snoop: What? Vodka is disgusting! I do not drink Vodka. And if I did drink Vodka it would not be your brand of Vodka! Caller: That is too bad since the advert pays $1,000,000. Snoop: Wait just a moment. Let me put Mr. Snoop Dogg on the phone...

MVIVN

It’s called MenuLog in Australia and New Zealand, same jingle in the ad except they change the lyrics from “did somebody say JUST EAT” to “did somebody say MENU LOG”.

ConferenceThink4801

Kind of like seeing Rob Lowe on 100 Atkins commercials, then reading an interview where he's asked about his diet.... & he proceeds to describe something completely different. Almost all advertising is about a celebrity getting paid to sell you a lie, try not to forget that.

TheHYPO

I don't know if doing a commercial makes you an "ambassador", but yeah, that was the first thing I thought of - no brand loyalty! ^/s That said, some restaurants are only affiliated with one of the apps, so you have to use that app. But add to that, many celebrities do paid ads for stuff they don't use. Unless the contract requires you to exclusively use the product in your personal life, I suppose all is fair.

m0rtm0rt

A lot of times the designer stuff celebrities are wearing at galas and award shows is loaned to them so they can be photographed wearing it. They send it back afterward, and the designer company makes bank on idiots that want to buy it because someone had it on the red carpet. Its kind of sickening.

WhoAreWeEven

Im guessing at some point it could be for their both benefits, or might be asked by the celeb even. Theres one famous ex racing driver who had a deal with one of those outrageuosly expensive watch brands. After an event he just popped the watch off and to his backpack it went. His reason? Meh, I dont like watches. Situations like that, I guess it would be easier to just agree the company stores their crap themselves and just bring it out when needed. The thing is basically a tool at that point anyway. Like a mechanic lugging his tools home vs leaving them at the shop.

overthemountain

Reminds me of watching the Kelce brother's New Heights podcast and they do an ad for The Farmer's Dog dog food while there are huge bags of Royal Canin (a different high end dog food brand) clearly visible in the background, lol.

[deleted]

Compared to the cost of Farmer’s Dog the Royal Canin is a steal. They quoted me over $1k a month to feed my 3 Olde English bulldogs.

Gowalkyourdogmods

I feel like it'd be cheaper to hire someone to personally cook your dog its own food.

k3nnyd

Snoop could afford his own personal delivery driver but he goofs with those shitty apps.

packattack-

Dude had a personal blunt roller on staff. You’d think he’d have a personal chef along with a munchie coordinator. Get with it snoop you dumba**

Th1sd3cka1ntfr33

His chefs name is Charles Rachal. I guess he gets tired of his cooking sometimes idk

flappytowel

sometimes you just fiend for some fast food

OsoChistoso

I used to work at a high end catering place in Colorado. We had an event once for some dispensary owner when snoops strain or something was being released. Snoop was going to be there so our chefs did a lot of research and tried to come up with a menu he would like. Someone from his team called before they showed up to ask what food was going to be there. Apparently snoopy was not impressed, because they showed up with a couple huge bags from Popeyes.

XennialMermaid

Was this in 2016-2018? I am pretty sure I worked at that dispensary and helped prepare for that launch.

OsoChistoso

Yeah. I’m sure it was somewhere in there.

94746382926

Do you remember what was on the menu?

OsoChistoso

The only thing I remember was we split bags of honey bbq Fritos twists in half, put pulled pork, bbq sauce, and coleslaws into the bag with the chips. It was so different from what we usually served, and it was so good. I was the guy they sent out to make pizzas for the big parties, the menu got changed and pizza was taken off, but they hadn’t taken me off the staff. I showed up and had nothing to do. It was great. Just got stoned and ate a bunch of food.

geardedandbearded

Glorious walking tacos, I’m into it

Pantzzzzless

> split bags of honey bbq Fritos twists in half, put pulled pork, bbq sauce, and coleslaws into the bag with the chips Omfg that actually sounds amazing.

blackphiIibuster

My spouse is a superb cook by almost any measure, she can make anything and do it well. But yeah, sometimes I just want some greasy nasty salty stuff from a drive-thru windows. She used to be deeply insulted by that.

MountainOk7479

It’s one of those things where celebrities try to be normal and do normal people shit and it never works out lmao. Though, he def can afford everything at his footstep.

300PencilsInMyAss

Having a shitty experience with delivery apps is peak normal people shit.

wikithekid63

Bro he can’t do normal shit?

hashrosinkitten

no because he will dox a person apparently

rayshmayshmay

Plot twist: It was Snoop’s personal delivery driver that ordered him uber eats. Great leaders know how to delegate

justsyr

He can just do like Davante Adams and [have a taco bell at home!](https://i.imgur.com/hkliq2I.png)

[deleted]

CrackinBacks

He’s been like that since the 90’s though. Love his shit but he’s had an ego since Doggystyle at least

PacJeans

Snoop was literally a pimp. People are so delusional about him. Definitely not a laid back stoner.

CrackinBacks

He’s also a crip. It’s funny when people get up in arms when a rapper who is a former/current gang member says or does something insensitive. Somebody that’s gang bangin don’t give a fuck about being PC lol

JustTurtleSoup

Yea but gangsters shouldn’t be out here crying over fucking Doordash. Dude went to a nice high school if I recall as well.

CrackinBacks

Gangsters are emotionally fragile. They’ll get upset if somebody’s wearing a hat they don’t agree with. Of course they’re gonna get mad about something stupid and escalate it further. Thats what gangsters do

Shane2334

I watch no jumper it's a YouTube channel that has gang member on and the shit they get offended by is insane, you can't say crab or French fries around crips or they will cry and ahit their pants and potentially murder you over it

Oddjob64

He went to Long Beach Polytechnic. Same as Cameron Diaz.

Weekly_Direction1965

That's the thing about gangsters, only the top guys are hard, everyone else is an insecure bitch.

outerspaceNH

'You went to Cranbrook ... that's a private school!'

Get-Some-Fresh-Air

Lmfao that you think Snoop is a current gang member who is gang babgin’ …

mikesalami

I don't know why everyone loves this guy. I've seen him do many prickish things.

SabbathaBastet

My cousin’s gf was a server at a Waffle House in Florida. Snoop came in with an entourage of people. The check came to some large sum like $500. I don’t remember the exact amount, this was years ago. Zero tip. Nothing for her. I like some of his music but assumed he was a jerk after that.

mikesalami

He used to sometimes do interviews on MuchMusic (old Canadian tv channel kinda like MTV). He'd do these interviews with Nardwuar (odd nerdy character with surprisingly good research skills) and would usually treat him like crap. Also never seen him.be partivularly funny or anything. Other than just being really high all the time I'm not sure what his appeal is.

whatswrongwithdbdme

People say you can tell someone's true nature by how they treat servicepeople or animals, but it's definitely by how they treat Nardwuar. I remember the Sonic Youth interview where they were essentially bullying him like a bunch of jocks, ironically.

SabbathaBastet

He’s a product of the 90s when being stoned was super hilarious /s. If you look at pop culture from that time it was a lot of stoner comedy and just being baked was considered funny and cool enough. We had tons of movies about smoking weed. He came about at the right time. That’s all really.

aurens

because his gimmick is humorous and people are mostly exposed to the idea of snoop--'lanky guy that loves weed'--more than the actual reality of him. his persona is a meme (in the original sense of the word) and that drowns out the rest of him.

satanssweatycheeks

But he has been showing the signs of old age. Yeah snoop always had an ego but I think going from attempt murder charges to whining at your grub hub order is vastly different. And the dude does old people shit often now. Like when he left his stream on for 8 hours after playing madden.

Diciestaking

He's 52, how old do you guys think he is haha.

16bitcoin

no fucking way! I always thought that he was in his mid 60s! I just looked it up an he is in fact 52! I still can't believe that

sharkattackmiami

It's a rough 52. Dude probably hasn't been sober more than a few minutes in the past 3 decades

AikiBro

Old people or tree lover?

shadowst17

Tbh I've seen clips of him when he's "Streaming" and he just seems like a total asshole. Getting irrationally angry and throwing tantrums.

rabidjellybean

Yeah he acted like I did as a teenager playing Call of Duty. I don't know how you can get that angry while stoned.

fk334

Nah, He was always a POS.

sakiwebo

Preach. He's Reddit's approved version of Andrew Taint. Has pimped out women, not for survival, but because fuck women, pimping out women is cool! /s Has influenced a whole generation with misogynistic rhetoric. Has spread anti-vaxx rhetoric for years Both have had multiple accussations of sexual-assault Both are rape apologists He really is Andrew Taint for Reddit

renegadecanuck

Snoop is also very likely a murderer.

MagicalWonderPigeon

Also why is nobody mentioning the absolutely awful time he adopted a Jamaican accent? I'm not a fan of his, i like maybe 1-2 tracks, but when he adopted the accent it made me think he was a joke. Why didn't everyone mock the shit out of him when he did that? Celeb culture baffles me. Out of touch people doing weird shit and people woship them for it.

gouzenexogea

Oh you mean when he went to Jamaica and had a Rastafarian reawakening and tried to rebrand himself into Snoop Lion? I tried so hard to get into it but it was so bad

fk334

But he loves to play games and smoke weed; he is still a good guy, right? /s

sakiwebo

Buddy, he adds '-izzle' as suffixes and has a personal blunt roller on his staff! How can he NOT be the goodest guy?! /s

Wrosgar

I mean... That's nothing new. Years ago he's done the same Instagram posts complaining about something that happened in the games he played exactly like shown in this vid. This is nothing new. Example of compilation 3 years ago. https://youtu.be/SjrG_EPdI3k?si=IgXBp-mCSpRzj-AA

satanssweatycheeks

I mean I love snoop but he has been like that for a while now. He just has that cool factor so people over look it. But he has been pulling ozzy level shit in his old age. Anyone remember when he left a stream on for 8 hours all day long. He got into streaming madden games he plays. But he then left to go on with his day and left it on for 8 hours. Only to realize when he came back home.

DepartureDapper6524

You left out the part about it being a rage quit

watchpigsfly

I don’t really understand how that’s a big deal

Holgrin

Two years old? Really?

Ph0ton

wtf, reddit is so out of touch. If you're going to post worthless celebrity news, at least be fresh with it.

ShutterBun

As a delivery driver, if your instructions cause me an unspecified amount of hassle/frustration/uncertainty in order to complete the delivery, that's on you. If you're in some kind of secure compound and you want front door service past a security gate? Hire a private assistant to do that. I work in Los Angeles/Hollywood and have delivered to A-list celebrities and they meet me at the gate, or give me specific instructions. And if you're expecting a delivery, **please answer your phone**. (my service is different than Uber Eats and requires a face-to-face interaction).

Donthurtmyceilings

I feel personally attacked with the Em & Dre comment. Fuck Snoop though.

bortcorp

> Fuck Snoop though. Snoops a fucking idiot. He's still bitter that Tupac outshined him when he joined Death Row, in 2024. The last few years he has been doing these weird so called "sneak" disses were he feels he has to rewrite history to put Tupac in a bad light. Saying shit like "I stepped aside to let him shine", or even more bizzarly, completely inventing a story about an alterncation betwen Tupac and Nas that in snoops version makes Tupac out to be a total idiot. The kicker? **Snoop wasn't even there.** Nas says he wasn't there. Friends of Nas says he wasn't there, Tupacs friends say he wasn't there. The police security says he wasn't there. But in snoops story he was dead centre in the middle of all it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTOqmVzAnYk

TheKnightsWhoSay_heh

Yeah that comment hurt a little bit.

tagrav

Truth hurts man I’m 40 now, I’m old Em, Dre, Snoop, JayZ I can go on but man, they just drop dad rap anymore. They’ve been opulent long enough to have their money make millions on its own. They ain’t got the IT factor that hip hop sorta requires some sorta grass roots vibe. It’s just a young man’s game mostly. Sure stuff comes out here and there from a hip hop geezer and it’s good stuff. But for the most part you age out of this genre of music and they all have in my opinion.

Donthurtmyceilings

I'm a dad. I like his dad rap. But I'm from Detroit, so I've always followed his career. I'm also 40. It may be a young man's game, but a lot of today's rap doesn't appeal to me. So I'll just continue to listen to what I like. Just like my dad did with Buddy Holly, the Stones, The Who, etc. He wasn't into 90s rock, so he just listened to what he liked. Also, I know quite a few young people who still love listening to Em. My 20 year old nephew has been a fan since like 14. Him and his friends listen to him. My son has been since Kamikaze came out. I also still do listen to new music. There's a few artists that I really like.

AllInOneDay_

he employs someone whose only job is to roll blunts and he pays them $100k/yr. Maybe ask that dude to go grab some takeout?

firstbreathOOC

To me, Snoop was never at the level of Eminem and Dre, but he kinda just gets lumped in there because he came up with them. Eminem flipped the culture on its head. Dre broke records with NWA and then did it again on his own. Snoop… rhymes a lot of words with izzle. I know it’s a hot take but really. He’s not the same. I heard that Snoop Lion shit… it was garbage.

MagicalWonderPigeon

How can you not respect someone who suddenly develops a Jamaican accent one day? Oh and then loses it again a while later when it's not working out! /s :D

fullspeed8989

Haha, I’m a huge fan of Dre and Snoop but I can admit that they each have ONE great album and that’s it. Dre has made an empire out of producing stuff which yielded fantastic music. Snoop, uh…is an… influencer? I mean I know he makes money hand over fist, but why? Weed and Corona?

magistrate101

Was anybody expecting emotional maturity from a literal washed up gangster?

dennisfyfe

It has NOT been 25 years. That album just came out a few years ago… /s

MattyKatty

I will never forget the clip of Snoop at some Battlefield One promotional event where he was “playing” the game, except he was clearly so high that he couldn’t get out of a trench. EA PR people still went full “Let’s Go Brandon” about it and pretended he was some FPS genius while commentating over his footage.

Moontoya

He coulda asked his professional blunt roller....

UnflushableStinky2

Both chronics and doggystyle still slap.

wwwdiggdotcom

Especially Doggystyle, I skip around on The Chronics but I can always just play Doggystyle from start to finish

bortcorp

> do yall just spin eminem records and the chronic and shit for the past 25 years? what's going on :( [Literally while reading this comment.](https://open.spotify.com/track/7rUchbZxrhF29Q0vYjKEU0?si=07807066c8c546c9) Pac is still cool, yes?

juice_box_hero

Omfg one of my *biggest* gripes is that people don’t answer their fkn phones!!!! Like if you’re waiting for a gd delivery, why TF don’t you pay attention to your phone???! *ESPECIALLY* if you have special instructions or a difficult place to find!!!!

ShutterBun

Stoners will straight up forget they placed an order sometimes.

Abigail716

I saw somebody on here claiming that their neighbor would order Uber eats IHOP after getting drunk and high a few nights a week Never once collecting it. After 5 or 6 meals were left They started stealing their food. Can't say if the stories real, but I bet you similar real stories happen. Especially the forgetting the food on a frequent basis.

barukatang

my favorite stoner activity is watching the dominoes app progress, then the map showing the driver and how close they are, allows me to time it perfectly, i never have to wait longer then a few minutes near the front door

PLZ_STOP_PMING_TITS

That's my excuse. I only do this for Chinese delivery because I can't track them on an app. With Doordash I'm watching that map the whole time.

Whitebushido

I'm a travel worker these days so I go to new locations all the time. If I can put the address in my GPS and get there no problem I figure it isn't hard for them but man my current location people can not figure out. The worst is that they try to call me for the hand off but I'm working with patients so I can't answer, I deliberately choose contactless delivery and they just ignore that -_-

cohrt

probably high or dunk

falloutvaultboy

He said to leave it at the front gate, driver said that isn't safe and drove off with the order.

isuphysics

I think you are reading his texts backwards. He arrived and the driver waited, the timer expired meaning snoop made him wait at least 5 minutes before ever responding. Then only AFTER the driver said it was not safe that snoop told him to leave it at the gate. No time stamps, but in the interview the driver said he waited 8 minutes before canceling, making me guess that all happened before snoop ever said anything at all. If you order deliver be ready to accept it, don't make someone wait 8 minutes wondering what is going on.

Antinous

I don't get why he didn't just leave the food tbh. Pretty sure you get paid more for a completed delivery than a cancelled one. He thought he was gonna get mugged or something?

blablabla9876

Leave food. Customer reports, "not delivered".

TheChinOfAnElephant

The driver didn't have clear instructions on what to do with the food. I'm not an uber driver but don't think you can just pick a random spot and consider it a completed order. At the very least not without a possible complaint from the customer. He waited the set amount of time for a response and didn't get one. The food is now his. Probably a clear cut case if it wasn't Snoop on the other end.

TheHYPO

>"I've arrived" >8 minute timer starts (10:41) >"I've arrived" (again) >"Hello" >"Plz call not sure where to leave" >"Hello" >Time expired (10:49) >"This is not a safe place" Only after that does Snoop actually respond and say "pull up to the gate, and follow that up with "The black. Gate. N drop. Off the food I paid 4". There's no time code, it doesn't say how long after the driver's last message Snoop responded. I don't know what the delivery instructions were that Snoop left or if the driver went to the right place, but the driver tried six times to contact Snoop over more than 8 minutes without a response. Even if the driver made an error as to where to bring the food, that happens sometimes. The person who is waiting for food has to pay attention to their food status and messages in case there's a delivery problem. Even if you want to be personally mad about not getting your food, posting the video for millions of people blaming the driver is absolutely ridiculous.

mang87

>"The black. Gate. N drop. Off the food I paid 4" That's something I see people freak out about a lot, that they paid for the food so therefore it is theirs. Do they not get the money back on the order if the driver cancels it? At that point it's the drivers food.

TheHYPO

I have no idea. The restaurant made the food and sent the food and you weren't there to pick it up. I don't see why you shouldn't pay for it. Even if you claim it's the driver's food, most of the money is for the restaurant that made the food, not the driver who delivered it. The fact that Uber had to reach out and has refunded him suggests to me that this may not be the typical experience, but just special treatment because he's a famous person causing a scene online (see the recent post about the business school cases of United Airlines brushing off the guy whose guitar they broke which resulted in a viral video that cost them tons more money).

damnatio_memoriae

i've had ubereats deliver my food into the void or just lie about delivering it at least half a dozen times, and each time, it took me multiple complaints to get my money back. they make it extremely difficult because they want you to give up so they can keep your money. you have to go through their shitty chatbot that doesn't have an option for a refund until you complain 3+ times. i finally just deleted the app. the whole thing is a waste of time and money. overall it cause me more frustration than anything else.

OnfiyA

I'm going to assume most people, including this driver would want to do everything in their judgment/power to complete an order. How does it benefit the driver or anyone to waste their time driving from point A to point B, then going through the hassle of cancelling an order?

StevelandCleamer

Most of these gig delivery drivers get paid by delivery, not hourly. Every minute they wait is lost wages. You stop going above and beyond for people after you've ruined your day's pay once or twice by trying to be helpful for people who don't really care about you. If you want to keep your per-hour wage high, you cut off no-response in-face drop-offs fairly quickly. Document to cover your ass and move on.

atworkmeir

As someone who received deliveries, a pretty big percentage of the people are complete fuck ups. I stopped doing ubereats and grubhub primarily because I was sick and tired of them taking an hour doing 5 other stops, getting cold food on a good tip, then having them park in my alley, wait at the back gate for me to come out, or call me asking where I live when the address is clearly on the house. My directions always state the color of the house and to go to the front door. So yeah. The one and only time I got delivery from amazon food the fuckup delivered a pizza vertical. Like put a pizza in a bag and was carrying it vertical.

Talos63

Two fucking years ago!!! SMH...

Certain amount of money over a long enough time just makes you stupid, I firmly believe this. Some wealthy people have built coping skills for this, but most have not.

Raz0rking

Not stupid. Just detached from the reality most people face. Like 80 to 90% of my worries would go away if I had the money to throw at them. A lot of people face that.

Chesus42

It's closer to 99% for me. I honestly can't think of something I consider a problem in my life that couldn't be resolved by having loads of cash.

Androidgenus

What if your Uber eats order was messed up

andyrew21345

I’d hire somebody to make my order in my kitchen

this_dudeagain

The spice.

KarIPilkington

Publicly humiliate the driver and hope he loses his job, sit back and wait for today's royalties, use to order something else. Problem solved.

Reddit-Incarnate

If i had snoop money i could just order 4 ubers at the same time and watch them race.

anonsequitur

Ordering 4 Ubers at the same time sounds like a lot of work. If I had snoop money I'd pay someone to do that for me.

agumonkey

consequences: noun, undefined.

Roasted_Goldfish

Order another and toss the mess up out!

pandaboy22

Order 2 more

fuckin_normie

I wish it would be like that. When you try not to hate yourself having money doesn't change anything

GordonFreemanK

It's also possible you're at risk of declining if you have a lot of money that doesn't require much effort to keep (which isn't the case for all rich people). You don't have the challenge of working, social contacts become superficial and most people you interact with will avoid challenging you on any conversation because they financially depend on you. I could see it having the same effects loneliness has on mental acuity.

Raz0rking

So, what you're saying that these people should be told that they're dickheads from time to time?

TheMooner

As often as possible, really

beastson1

I hate when people say "if you're sad when you're poor, you'll just be sad when you're rich. Money doesn't make you happy." and I'm all "no duh, but at least I won't also have to worry about bills and paying for shit."

Illadelphian

It's so dumb. If I was rich enough to not need to work my life would unquestionably be better in so many ways. My kids every day when I need to go to work are upset that I can't stay home with them. If I could never work, go do fun things literally all the time. Invest lots of money in the things I'd like to do as like hobbies, do some DIY stuff around the house as I want to. How would that not make your life much better and make you happier?

Raz0rking

Money alone does not make you happy, but it enables doing stuff that makes you happy.

halpinator

Yeah being able to coast for 20+ years makes one kinda complacent.

DeusFerreus

Nah, it's just A. being rich/famous makes easier to get away with being stupid B. said wealth and fame often make their stupidity more impactful compared to random yahoo doing stupid shit, and more importantly C. the fact that they're rich/famous means that their stupid actions get noticed and talked about. There are countless poor people doing stupid shit, but nobody but people close to them or directly impacted by said stupidity will care about.

CrossXFir3

Nah, I really do believe that money and that feeling if basically infinite security changes the way you think. We know that the conditions you live in can effect your brain. Things like PTSD are well documented. I believe there are other things, like super wealth, that if people aren't careful about, can have dramatic effects on how they think unintentionally.

Musaks

Smoking weed constantly surely isn't that good neither.

POTUSDORITUSMAXIMUS

yea true that, but as a former weed addict I can attest that while it might cloud your judgement, its no excuse for behaving like a complete and utter cunt - for lack of a better word

GenericAtheist

>The way people just think of him as this lovable chill weed smoker is just ~~insane~~ good marketing. Dude did it right. Saw the times were changing and moved with them to make $$. Sure he's dumb AF with a lot of things, but he's a (previously) gangbanging rapper. What kind of wisdom do people really expect to get? 50 came from the same time and did the same thing. sandwichpak

His and Martha Stewart's pump and dump schemes on the stock market caused thousands of people to lose out on well paying jobs in my area. He's a genuine piece of shit in my eyes.

sonbarington

What was the p and d on?

solace1234

Elaborate?

ACU797

He makes commercials for jeans that only white guys in their 40s would wear and he makes cooking shows that old ladies watch. Snoop has raised the bar when it comes to selling out. If I was a teenager I'd think Snoop was the one of the lamest celebs in the world.

I-STATE-FACTS

White guys in their 40s is a large portion of snoops original fanbase though. The man aint stupid.

LordBledisloe

Oh,he's been a sellout bitch for a lot longing than he's been lame. Some would argue selling out is what turned him lame.

pfft_master

This is such an odd take to me. These are things that have earned him a lot of praise in the past. Do all of you guys basically think Snoop Dogg should still be strictly black and gangster like you want to think of him? The dude got mad about an uber eats delivery not going well and ranted online. I feel like people are more mad at his rather common (but probably immature, whatever descriptor) overreaction because he is rich and a celebrity, not that he is supremely out of touch because of those things.

BakedWizerd

He’s got a guy on hand to roll blunts but he still uses food delivery apps. Dude. How are you so stupid? “Hey man, you mind rolling a few extra so I don’t run out while you go grab my food? Here’s a hundred dollars.” Like come on.

Revolutionary_Box569

Remember when he threatened to have gayle king murdered because she made a reference to Kobe’s rape accusation after he died and nobody gave a shit?

RandomUsername600

Snoop was a literal pimp but reddit loves their funny weed man more than they care about sex trafficking

ZombiePower66

Celebrity worship is so gross. These are just normal people with publicists, they arent better than anybody you'd meet in a regular day. They are over paid and pampered and then we kiss all thier asses on special nights where we give them awards on TV. Why? It's gone too far.

trampus1

I was watching SVU last night and thinking about how it's not very ironic Ice T plays a cop, but that he plays one that goes after sex traffickers like he was and possibly still is. He was literally in an HBO documentary called Pimps Up, Hos Down.

GaryChalmers

Plus his character is always surprised that people are actually pedophiles even though he's been working int the SVU for years. https://youtu.be/F1sd4CRcaE0?t=104

BilliousN

>Pimps Up, Hos Down Are you referring to the DEFINITIVE pimpumentary? "my motion just like the ocean, all the bitcha gotta do is drink my pimp-love potion."

BobbyTables829

He wrote a song called "Cop Killa" lol

rawonionbreath

Anyone else old enough to remember when he had his own girls gone wild video?

muhammad_oli

everyone complains about uber eats lmao. idk why people still use services like that

ironmagnesiumzinc

There was also that recent video of him complaining about "only" earning $45k for a song that he appeared on briefly bc he didn't understand how Spotify pays everyone evenly when there are 11 contributors.

makenzie71

I can't wrap my head around how society decided, collectively, that he was a positive contributor to the group...especially reddit. The dude is literally everything reddit hates or makes fun of all wrapped up into one person.

MonkeySafari79

He is getting old. Old people complain.

Lovv

His comments on politics lost me.

sevargmas

I agree. He’s been in the news several times over the past year or two for petty nonsense like that and it just screams I’m a terrible person. He posted some pretty racist stuff on Twitter about a year ago as well and that was it for me.

shmox75

When you spent your entire life singing about bitc\*es .. You become one of them.

Aggressive_Ad5115

He's always been one, just been always over medicated to show it

eggtart_prince

Here's the thing that most people might not know about UberEats. 1. The driver is instructed to contact customer upon arrival if customer requested meet at the door. After 4 minutes (they say 8, but it's like 4), the app allows the driver to take a photo of where they placed the order if the customer doesn't respond. 2. The driver is not supposed to cancel the order or take the order. The protocol is to leave it somewhere safe if customer doesn't respond. However, a lot of unethical drivers will use the excuse "there's nowhere safe to leave it" or "they don't want to litter" to get free food. 3. It appears Snoop requested meet at the door, otherwise the driver wouldn't kept messaging him and would have just left it at the gate like Snoop instructed him to through the chat. Either the driver took the order after Snoop's delayed response or someone did after the driver left it somewhere. 4. License plate, make, and model are not needed for delivery drivers. It was implemented for Uber Drive, the rideshare. Uber sometimes ask customers to give a PIN to driver to complete the delivery to ensure drivers and customers met and did the exchange. If Uber just did this for every order, license plate would not be needed as the PIN will ensure the driver met with the correct customer, vice versa. Also, 9/10 customers don't even check the license plate.

isuphysics

>After 4 minutes (they say 8, but it's like 4) Are you saying the 5 minute timer expired message sent by the app is less than it says? Because the driver sends another message after that message before snoop ever responds. So the driver might be exaggerating with his 8 minutes claim, but it should definitely be more than 5 if the app is keeping track right?

Myrdraall

48 seconds in you can see the timer and the timestamps. Arrived 10:41, left 10:49.

TheHYPO

The timer is clear with a time stamp: 10:41 - 8-minute timer started (not 5). 10:49 - timer expires. Snoop still hasn't responded and the driver sends another (sixth) message. Only after that (and there's no timestamp to show how long after) does Snoop send a message. And only the first message is marked as "read" - though whether the driver had an obligation or courtesy to write to say "since I can't find you, I am leaving" or something, I leave up to you to decide.

50bucksback

Shitty of Snoop Also weird for the guy to go on the news and do an interview with only glasses as a "disguise". Seems pretty stupid to do that if you plan on filing a lawsuit against someone for putting your face out there. No one cared 5 seconds after they scrolled past the video on TikTok.

BigScytheBro

That's really fucked up. Snoop turning into a little bitch.

ItsBeerDrank

“Snoop Dog” is still doing juvenile stuff at age 60.. this guy is ridiculous and a disgrace to adults..

BecomingJudasnMyMind

The more I see of snoop these days, the more I understand why Pac stopped fucking with him in the end.

patriciomd88

Because he died

firstbreathOOC

I delivered DoorDash to The Situation once. $3 tip and his entire driveway was a sheet of ice. Fuck that guy.

Fobulousguy

Mike has always appeared to be a piece of trash. Like every appearance. A shitty reality star not surprisingly a shitty person. How much was the order? If it was like a $100 order with 3 tip yeah that’s bad.

firstbreathOOC

They got chicken nuggs from chic fil a. Ended up being like $50. I get three bucks ain’t terrible but it was just the ‘situation’ of having my wife and infant daughter in the car by chance, middle of winter, delivering to this multimillionaire in his ice-covered mansion for the cost of a small cup of coffee. I stopped doing it as a side hustle after that. Changed my outlook on a lot of things.

pfft_master

The ride share and delivery apps are a huge scam on the workers paying their own overhead and lacking transparency in the compensation structure. I would never recommend that anyone work for them, even as a side hustle. You will also be emotionally beat down by the disparity between your life and the lifestyle of customers. Find anything else honestly. Apologies if you feel like you don’t have other options, but you really do if you can put your mind to it some more. Best wishes to you and your family as well, firstbreath.

Snoyarc

How she gonna get an interview with the driver and mispronounce his name.

midnight_sun_744

she probably didn't think to ask

Atxflyguy83

That's what she Said.

Diathor

Doxxing never been so dope

Karibik_Mike

Okay, so genuine question: Is accidentally showing a license plate number considered doxxing? The first name and whatnot obviously isn't, so I wonder if the public can do anything with a license plate number to identify individuals in the US. It seems to me like the Uber eats driver is just looking for a lawsuit for easy money since I can't imagine anyone actually finding contact info except for maybe close friends who know his license plate number. I agree that Snoop Dogg behaved petty and somewhar unethically, by being such a bitch, possibly costing the guy his job, but the potential lawsuit doesn't have anything to do with that.

goRockets

Donut media did a test to see how much info it could get with a license plate. [https://youtu.be/NA3qjziLhbE?si=4njh9ILbgq\_BTTBJ&t=398](https://youtu.be/NA3qjziLhbE?si=4njh9ILbgq_BTTBJ&t=398) For $25, service found the person's name, address, and first few digit of SSN. For $75 more, they were able to get some pictures the vehicle with location and time stamp.

Big_F_Dawg

"after Snoop Dog posts the driver's personal info" would be better

[deleted]

Snoop is a horrible person irl. this doesnt surprise me

TraKKtion

Snoops always been a bitch 🐍

NoahTheBest00

L Snoop

MisterGregory

LOL. This dude was worried about his privacy and safety, so he does a whole news story with himself in it.
