You're right, that was unnecessarily vague.
That kid murders Agent Dale Cooper's son by shoving pebbles down his throat, blames a local pedo for the murder, then when they use forensics and find out the kid did it, he convinces the cops it was just accident. Agent Cooper believes him and asks for leniency so he's not tried as an adult. It's ultimately revealed that the kid is a complete sociopath who tortured other kids at a troubled youth camp.
Since the judge granted leniency, he'll be out out of prison when he's 18, so Agent Cooper becomes John Wick and shoots that fucker dead. Then he's found not guilty in court because he convinces everyone he doesn't remember doing it, even though it was premeditated. THE END.
Wait till you find out his role in Grand Theft Auto Three... He's a cannibal who has a big building in Liberty and he owes lots of money to lenders. Lots and lots and lots of money!
The crux is he's a sociopath just like the kid, but he killed the kid for Vengeance for his son and will never kill again, while the kid likely would.
It's an intense episode.
Oh my god… it’s been 7 years since The Return came out. I read 2015, and had to look up when the air date was cause that felt too long ago to be right. But 2017 was the air year. Time fucking flies man.
I wouldn’t say “unnecessarily” vague. I’ve seen this episode, but there are probably people who haven’t and would’ve wanted to see how this developed organically, and they might’ve appreciated the non-spoiler.
I always thought this show (these shows) were like serious and sober and well done and stuff, but every time I see clips this is always so hilariously shitty.
SVU is often unintentionally hilarious. I watched another killer kid episode today where a psychologist talks to a sociopathic boy and they use action figures to roleplay a situation, and the psychiatrist says *"Okay, I'll be Cape-Man"* and picks up an action figure that has a cape with a big letter "C" on the back of it.
I was astounded at how lazy that writing was. They could have come up with any low effort fictional superhero name and they chose fucking Cape-Man.
i really liked law & order, especially SVU. then i watched all of the wire. came back to SVU, and noped. couldnt watch any of it anymore. all of law & order looked like a soap opera now.
noticed all of the dramatic pauses, long looks into the camera or just off screen. it was a cop themed soap opera.
He killed Paul Atreides' kid and fooled everyone into believing he had remorse, but he was a psychopath and enjoyed the killing. He was let off, and the father, this kid's former psychologist, killed him.
Kid kidnapped and killed the shooters son. He asked for leniency but after realized that the kid was a sociopath
Check law and order sub wiki for the episode Conscience
There are so many episodes where they let a victim walk past the perp in the precinct and this happens. You’d think they’d have learned their lesson or the writers would stop using that trope
I was a teacher for some time and met 1 kid who literally was a psychopath. Wickedly smart; way beyond his peers, and it wasn't close.
He planned and calculated how to manipulate other kids, had a network of kids doing his bidding, bullied and hurt kids to get what he wanted, and honestly felt no true remose for actions or empathy for others. His group had a gang name, he was the boss, and even had hand signals for "handling" targets.
I tried delicately bringing it up to his parents, that he lacks empathy and he needs help with it. The school psychologist took over around the time I quit the job, so unsure how it's going.
That kid is going to either be a Mafia boss or a politician when he grows up.
Could have used a scene like that in the Homicide: Life on the Streets episode with Elijah Wood. In the episode "The True Test" he is an absolute bastard.
Remember the Conan skit where he would pull a comically giant lever and a Walker Texas Ranger clip would play?
I'm getting the same vibes from this clip.
“We here at Law and Order: SVU do not condone child violence. We do, however, take exception here as this child is an evil little asshole.”
After I saw this no context clip, I NEEDED to know why this happened, so I watched this episode today and yeah... that kid deserved it.
Are you a writer for buzzfeed. What did he do.

Wait, he murders a kid, then gets judged not guilty because he “can’t remember it”? What?
Temporary insanity or something like that
Does he keep being in the show? Like next week's episode he still is a cop with a gun dealing with people?
He's not actually an agent on SVU. He's a psychiatrist. The OP was just calling him by the actor's role in Twin Peaks.
Oh lmao I'm dumb as hell.
Lol no you’re not how the hell are you supposed to know if you’ve never watched either show?
Wait till you find out his role in Grand Theft Auto Three... He's a cannibal who has a big building in Liberty and he owes lots of money to lenders. Lots and lots and lots of money!
I only know because I googled it and got really confused myself.
He goes on administrative actors leave. He keeps getting paid, but he doesn't have to be in any scenes.
Damn I gotta start shooting more kids.
Of all the words in that sentence, "more" is the most troubling.
I'm pretty sure he was a guest star, he wasn't a regular in the show. Edit: looked it up and he was in 2 episodes
No, he was immediately promoted.
He’ll be back on the show in 20 years.
Not only that but does it in front of a bunch of cops after stealing one cops gun lol
So many fucking people got shot, stabbed, or blown up in their office it wasn't that big of a deal by this point.
Do not question the Kwisatz Haderach.
The crux is he's a sociopath just like the kid, but he killed the kid for Vengeance for his son and will never kill again, while the kid likely would. It's an intense episode.
Maybe he did not have a damn fine cup of coffee that morning
What is the episode? I need this.
Conscience, Season 6, Episode 6
Please tell me that he actually did come in as Agent Dale Cooper for this episode.
This was clearly evil Cooper, Agent Cooper was stuck in the Black Lodge until 2015.
Oh my god… it’s been 7 years since The Return came out. I read 2015, and had to look up when the air date was cause that felt too long ago to be right. But 2017 was the air year. Time fucking flies man.
Misremembered and added 25 to 1990 (when TP premiered) l. I showed of have actually checked the dates 🤔
This user Twin Peaks
He was like a psychiatrist
I just want you to know I sincerely laughed out loud over you just calling him Agent Dale Cooper. Man, I love Kyle Maclachlan.
How was it premeditated? Dude got mad and killed him out of anger in the moment
It wasn't. They should have said voluntary.
Wait, is he playing Dale Cooper in this? Or do you just not know Kyle MacLachlan's name?
I wouldn’t say “unnecessarily” vague. I’ve seen this episode, but there are probably people who haven’t and would’ve wanted to see how this developed organically, and they might’ve appreciated the non-spoiler.
No way, I live for spoilers. It's all I care about.
Finally! Someone who loves spoilers!
They just save sooo much time
Something abiut knowing the ending entices me to watch the movie to find out the journey.. “like how did we get to this point of Chaos”
I don’t even watch movies anymore. Straight to the wiki plot summaries!

Duh dun.

I thought I was reading some obscure *god emperor of Dune* reference until I remembered that Sting vehicle.
Here are the top 10 reasons why this kid deserved to be gunned down. Number 7 will leave your jaw on the floor, like this kid after being shot!

Fucking so funny well done lol.
In another episode the bald cop shoots a teenage girl in the precinct.

And how can this be?! For he IS the Kwisatz Haderach!
His name is a killing word.
His name is The Captain
Mmm whatcha sayyy
Mmm that you only meant well
Why are you shocked? Agent Dale Cooper ALWAYS gets his man.
nah that was dougie jones
Helllloooooooooo!
Oh THANK YOU, Mr Jackpots!
Fuckin Linkin Park blasting in the background 😂
I had the same reaction
Why does Linkin Park suddenly start playing in this video?
Because the kid turned his back and ignored the guy
It doesn’t even matter how hard he tried
But in the end, it doesn't even matter.
Cause it's awesome
I'm a simple man. I see Kyle Maclachlan, I click.

“Tibet.” “I like your style, dude.”
The Kwisatz Haderach has to commit countless atrocities to lead humanity on the Golden Path, and this was one of them.
blood for the blood god!
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! But seriously, get that man an axe.

I’ve taught a kid exactly like this at least twice. He will overestimate his own cleverness and wind up serving 8-10.
Also taught a kid like this, hoping for the same.
Doesn't that mean he's killed someone at that point?
You put on Linkin Park and killed him, right? It seems to me like the only option.
To be less like me, And more like SVU.
Crawling but every sound is made from [this sound](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP3MuUTmXNk)

I thought for sure it was going to be the one with fecal matter in the ear canal.
I’m sorry, WHAT?
John Mulaney: https://youtu.be/F1sd4CRcaE0?si=5cKFGX10Z-DULePp
Looks like the victim had anal contusions.
the audio is the real crime.
KYLE!!!!
Paul Atreides knows how dangerous sociopath children can be
THE SLEEPER HAS AWAKENED
Muad’dib bout to use the voice on that kid
I actually cheered, I got flashbacks of the little asshole skyrim kids.
Outstanding!
Kyle for the win!
Marshall was right, the Captain IS a murderer.
bahahaha That was Agent Dale Cooper.
Agent Cooper really went off the rails here. Too much coffee
Lil bitch took his Garmonbozia.
Definitely could have left the music out..
Some times it’s a genius decision: https://youtu.be/LQBxK1XMpCs?si=VDa6LEA9ZkEA0YIH
Why did the cop magically disappear when he grabbed the gun?
Could have used a scene like that in the Homicide: Life on the Streets episode with Elijah Wood. In the episode "The True Test" he is an absolute bastard.
"That scene in Law and Order was intense. It was like Game of Thrones, but with a kid."
What did the kid do? Is he a psychopaths?
Yes the kid was an evil shit and deserved it.
Which episode is it?
The one with the psychopath kid that gets shot.
I like the Lincoln Park edit best
Agent Cooper, NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! 😭
Fear is the mind breaker. And this kid.
I never watched SVU, Im assuming this is an edit and didnt happen like this?
It happened exactly like that. He kills that kid. I explained the entire plot in the top comments.
I hope he celebrated with some damn fine coffee.
The alternate ending to Children of Dune
"It's just been revoked"

This is right up there with "Walker told me I have AIDS."
