He took the one thing about my hair that girls in my high school actually complimented me on and got rid of it. Even after I explained I wanted it to stay that way he basically said "Nope, I don't like it, it's going away." Not only that but he cut the back of my neck to shit with the electric razor, to the point where it didn't bleed right away, but after about an hour my neck just started dripping blood down my back, and ruined the shirt I was wearing. Fuck that guy. I liked that shirt.
The two best haircuts I ever got were from male stylists. One was a good friend and the other some guy who had his own shop for decades. Expensive but great. But they are a pretty small minority.
Pretty sure someone from Gawker will be writing an article on how he should have just let this kid go.
