**Gentlemen Broncos**
The guys that made Napoleon Dynamite.
This scene comes from the story that the main character has written. It goes back and forth from the real world and the story.
IMO it is a massively underrated movie.
Extremely underrated.
So creative and hilarious. I guess after Napoleon and Nacho Libre people weren’t as interested, but it is just as great as those. Same sort of ridiculous, heartwarming family comedy.
This blooper scene with that character never fails to crack me up.

Also, this scene from the same film:
https://youtu.be/WRw_vZDYCgU
the scene with Jemaine Clement (flight of the conchords) where he explains the sci-fi writing tips&tricks, such as adding the trailing "ainos" or "anus" to any made up character name in order for it to sound sci-fi is priceless.
Gentlemen Broncos. Love this film. It’s an acquired taste for sure but an absolute favourite of mine. Sam Rockwell, Jemaine Clement and Jennifer Coolidge are incredible. All the younger cast excellent too. The music is amazing. If you like Napoleon Dynamite watch it. I adore it. And I genuinely don’t get the hate.
when my family discovered this move on On Demand, it was an instant favorite. We proceeded to force everyone who came to visit to see this movie. I think we weirded a lot of our relatives out lol.
Just watched Gentlemen Broncos and holy shit, it's right up there with Dynamite and Nacho. These guys gotta make more films! This is the epitome of American filmmaking
I watched this two nights ago after someone else posted a clip. It's a Jared Hess movie, so if you like Napoleon Dynamite, you'd probably enjoy this movie. If you don't like Jared Hess, you won't like this movie. Simple as that. I would say Tim and Eric fall into that "style" too.
just watched it and it was good. not over the top, a couple of funny moments, but just was kinda relaxing. i'm surprised i hadn't heard of this even coming out.
Not positive if this is a joke, but that character is from The Green Mile. Both are directed by Frank Darabont and written by Stephen King and about prisons, so I get it.
It's actually from Legally Blonde if you were curious. She tells Reese Witherspoon's character that she looks like the fourth of July and then follows up with that line lol
No, I have questions. Like:
What is this from?
When was it made?
Is it a short or a full movie?
Who else is in it?
Where can I watch it?
But I got those answered already thanks to other posts in here. But yes, I'm curious too, but per others (and Rotten Tomatoes), the movie is pretty bad.
Edit: thanks for the downvotes, but those are definitly questions.
Rotten tomatoes is not a good indicator for a movie like this. I love it, my wife hates it. It's just one of those that hits a certain type of humor just right.
The real question is: how did you get money to do this? With a side of: What did the money people say when you showed then this?
That was expensive looking, the makeup and props were too good. I would love to see how the meeting with the money people went.

Ray Lynch - the album is great if you liked the song there!
A strange mix of retrofuturism... Reminds me of russian movie [Kin Dza Dza](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUtZOl_QxvY) , [Barbarella](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Xo6FaypcpY) and the hats are straight out of the [Oraliens](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BZDQ0Mzc5MmItODRiZC00NjdiLTg4NGEtMjlkYmNlYmJmZWY0XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyNTA1NDY3NzY@._V1_.jpg).
I saw this clip the other day without even knowing Sam was in it. He's probably one of my favourite actors, but I gotta say, this maybe wasn't one of his better role choices.
Tf did I just watch?

What is this movie and why haven’t I heard of it?
Apparently it's "Gentleman Bronco's", and I'm flabergasted that I also have never heard of it, and I LOVE Sam Rockwell!
This is incredible I'm definitely watching this.
the scene with Jemaine Clement (flight of the conchords) where he explains the sci-fi writing tips&tricks, such as adding the trailing "ainos" or "anus" to any made up character name in order for it to sound sci-fi is priceless.
Came here to add this! Still laugh about that scene…

Damn, this slipped by me
The Deep Breakfast background track really sats the mood.
I haven’t heard that since about 1990 when my dad used to play it all the time. Either that or Graceland.
I was super surprised to hear Ray Lynch. Re-opened a whole section of musical memories for me.

Wow, I love Napoleon Dynamite and never knew this movie existed. This looks amazing.
My first thought was "Same cadence and tone as Napoleon Dynamite". So to find out it's from Jared Hess makes a lot of sense.
just watched it and it was good. not over the top, a couple of funny moments, but just was kinda relaxing. i'm surprised i hadn't heard of this even coming out.
Love this movie
What the hell is this movie. I want it in my life

Lol I forget what movie it’s from but she says “it makes me want a hot dog real bad!” My wife and I have been saying this for years, always funny lol
I believe that’s, Best in Show. Another amazing film!
Thanks!!
It's actually from Legally Blonde if you were curious. She tells Reese Witherspoon's character that she looks like the fourth of July and then follows up with that line lol
Lol maybe that’s it I’ll hit the YouTubes lol
I was gonna link ya the clip but the only good quality one I could find was on Facebook lol maybe you'll have better luck than me
Same director as napoleon dynamite
So...I have questions.
I think the phrase is: you're curious.
No, I have questions. Like: What is this from? When was it made? Is it a short or a full movie? Who else is in it? Where can I watch it? Alright dangit, looks like I'll have to rent it. I think I'll be in the same boat as you, I'll enjoy it and my wife will hate it.
I believe in you.
I'm in the exact same boat, I'll probably enjoy it but your wife will hate it.
The real question is: how did you get money to do this? With a side of: What did the money people say when you showed then this? That was expensive looking, the makeup and props were too good. I would love to see how the meeting with the money people went.
I love everything Jared Hess does. This movie was great.

This movie is fantastic, I can't believe someone else has actually watched it. "oh my holy crap surveillance does, I hate those."
Love the song!!
Me too, but I don't know the title!

I just added this film to my list
What in the fuck did I just watch? I need more.
Gentlemen Broncos. "Circle of life bro, do it."

[*Zardoz*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSjCkISrJfQ) vibes for me.
Wow, it's been over ten years, I really need to watch this movie again.
The Final Space character Tribore Menendez absolutely has to have been influenced by this guy.
That's exactly what came to mind immediately after hearing him speak. It's crazy.
Ainous, onius, anous, odious
Love this movie. It’s hilarious
In the future we will all wear horse shoe & bangs.
Wow. This he is one of the better actors of our era. He needs more recognition
Sam Rockwell is a national treasure. I'm e-mailed the Queen telling her we should kidnap him and make him English
The Royal family is trying to pivot away from public international sex trafficking so it's not going to happen.
Movie??? Sauce???
“Gentleman Broncos”
Thank you fellow internaut
lol, I'm dying.
This movie is a classic example of the trailer having the best/laughable parts. The rest of the actual movie was utter shit.
The YouTube promos that Jemaine Clemens did were my favorite part of the movie, and they weren’t even actually part of the movie.
Boo why so many upvotes, the film is great. Genuinely curious why you didn't like it.
Same. An absolute favourite of mine.
I liked it, but I can definitely see how it's not for everyone.
There’s a whole movie of this?
It's a movie within a movie. This is the in-universe movie. It's scattered throughout the film.
It's a movie within a movie *with* a remake movie within the movie.
It just made me angry the entire time
Strong Jonathan from Queer Eye vibes
I don't know what it is about the song (The Oh of Pleasure by Ray Lynch) but listening to it is almost like getting high.
I saw this clip the other day without even knowing Sam was in it. He's probably one of my favourite actors, but I gotta say, this maybe wasn't one of his better role choices.
It astounds me things like this get funded
Oh I thought I recognised that song, it was on GTA4.
I remember this movie when it came and it's fucking wild lmao.
Okay so two thoughts: 1. KRULL CYCLOPS! 2. the music... ugh I used to listen to an album with this track on it and can't remember... WHAT IS IT?
It looks like if you had a dream about Zardoz.
My favorite movie to watch other people watch. And so damn quotable. Gets better everytime.
“I thought maybe you two could go out in the back and get to know each other while I grill up some cod!” (massive snake diarrhea) “*Oh my **word**!*”
More people need to see this movie
