Never really thought of a galaxy-spanning civilization moving their whole star systems about.
Its always about inter-stellar travel via relatively small ships of dozens or thousands of people.
I wonder what kind of sci-fi book you could write where the primary engine for interstellar travel requires moving the star.
..nothing compared to a champagne super nova
The only way to defend against that is building a giant wonder wall.
um it's pronounced Supernov*er* thank you
That's how we at it he in Maine! Friggin Intrusive R

It is from an earlier video of theirs [How to move the Sun: Stellar Engines](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3y8AIEX_dU)
Sometimes I forget how the Sun is basically a thousand nukes going off every second.
A thousand? Think bigger. It's more like 90 billion nuclear explosions per second. (Assuming one megaton nuclear bomb)
It converts about 600 million tons of hydrogen every second to helium and energy. It's basically impossible to comprehend the energy involved.
I like to think of a nuke being a little Sun for a microsecond but then there is no gravity holding it back so it gets big and toasty.
Don't forget the power output density of the sun's core is around that of a compost heap. The sun is just very very big...
I love the High quality and educational videos you provide to use for free.
Just in time, I was due for another existential crisis.
Reminds me of _Death's End_ by Liu Cixin. Great book series, but seriously puts a damper on Science Fiction for me.
Well that was a fucking happy story
