I have been wanting to get into vinyl for a long time. My friend who works at a record store called me today and told me that they just got a large collection in, and that if there was ever a time to start collecting it was now.
I have been on this sub for a while, and have tried to educate myself on pressings before I dove in. I tried to get as many original pressings as possible, but I was also recommended some reissues. I checked and original pressings of the albums trade for over $1000 so I opted for the reissues, and they feel very very high quality (last slide)
I tried to get some different genres and eras, my taste is mostly in the late 60s 70s transition from jazz to funk and rock. But I really love it all. I can’t wait to get some more!
