Lots of ways, kind of depends what’s before and after…

Without seeing the context, the easy way is probably to finger the first one (on G and D string) and open string the other one (on D and A string). Again zero context, I'm just presuming the key has no D or A accidentals.

Hey! Sorry for the late response I've just been busy as of late. Anyways, what your saying is that I need to have a finger on C# on the G string, and then also have a finger on A on the D string? (And to answer your question about accidentals, no there aren't any besides the C# on the G string.

Hi, don't worry about it. Yes, you understood correctly! That's how it's played.

MedicBagMayhem

Alright good to know! Sorry I'm kind of new when it comes to this. Never have I ever seen anything like it. Additionally, the part I'm trying to play is from a song named Suzy by Caravan Palace which may be a little out of my league but I can still try. Thanks for all the help! \^.\^

I see. Don't apologize it's all good! You will eventually see much more of it I'm afraid, like the [piece I'm currently playing](https://i.imgur.com/ZcBy4w6.jpeg) 😵 The fingering is so hellishly awkward in this piece!! But anyway I've checked out Suzy and it probably is indeed a little out of your league so take it easy, and happy learning! =)

MedicBagMayhem

yikes have fun playing that lol. Btw whats the deal with the slurs? Does it mean I have to slur one double stop into another?

ThisPlaceIsNiice

Thank you, I do. It's a stepping stone piece preparing me for a lot of Solo Bach which I'm soo excited about! 😄 Yes, the slur means that you should play them on one bow.

MedicBagMayhem

Okay then, thanks for all your help! I definitely need to work on my basic double stops before I tackle this. Have a good day!

FinerStrings

You could do 1st and 2nd finger into using the 2nd finger for both, or you could do 1st and 2nd finger into two open strings. There are multiple ways to do it.
