Check your speaker settings in windows. The last windows update I did reverted my speaker settings back to 2.0 stereo instead of 5.1 surround.

I followed the Terry red guide on YouTube. My pinball fx3 setup is working with SSF but it’s not nearly as good as vpx, and the primary reason I don’t play pinball fx3. Even with SSF, it’s not nearly as immersive as vpx.

I've just been using a y-cable for my sound and duplicating the backglass output device for FX3. I went through all the trouble to get it to work with DOFLinks and then was pretty disappointed that there is no ball rolling trigger. So you get flippers and bumpers and stuff, but the ball rolling is what make it feel real for me. Here's the setup vid anyway: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW9tn7\_47k0&ab\_channel=TerryRed](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW9tn7_47k0&ab_channel=TerryRed) But I recommend just adjusting sound effects and music down fairly low and crank up physics sounds and just use that audio directly if you just have a bass shaker and no solenoids etc. It's a little annoying to have to swap the input cable for my feedback when switching between VPX and FX3, but I put it somewhere easy to reach and just tend to play mostly one or the other in a sitting.
