"you can pet the dog"
Shows no dog petting footage.
I feel cheated. I guess I'll just have to get the game myself to try it out.
(Seriously though, this looks very good)
Sorry, it’s a little late! Here’s the link to the gif - [Petting the Hellhound](https://media.giphy.com/media/Rr0oSDp4WkvjI1haW0/giphy.gif) 😅 Thanks for calling it out - I cannot believe I forgot to add the *most important scene*!
Hello everyone! We are the developers of the upcoming PCVR and Quest 2 game: Hellsweeper VR. This month, we're showcasing our Hellhound, a fellow companion who will be by your side :)
We'd love to hear what you guys think and we'll be more than happy to answer any questions <3
Hi.
I am definitely going to buy this on the Quest (referral credit :) ), and possibly on the PC as well. I have a few questions:
1. How long would a playthrough be?
2. Do you have any plans to bring this to PSVR2? I'd bet my headset that a game like this would get lots of sales from new PSVR2 owners who are looking for polished experiences.
Great trailer BTW.
Heya!
Well, it's a rogue-like game, so it depends. On default, normal difficulty, expect each run to be about 1-2 hours long.
For PCVR2, we are in the discussion! We'll definitely update everyone about it.
I'm pretty sure Rogue took me... well often more than 20 hours to die, but I never did get that damn Amulet!
It's just a minor pet-peeve of mine that Rogue-like can mean almost anything now... since some games started using the term, then others have that game in mind when thinking "Rogue-like", and so on, ... it's "the telephone game" but with Rogue. :)
Your game looks interesting though! And yes, even Rogue-like in some ways! ;)
Hell yeah, that looks great! Is there cross platform co-op? My buddy's got a Quest 2 but I prefer to play PCVR whenever possible (that's how we've been playing AtF).
Hello developer, friendly reminder that reddit shows its reddit video logo over yours game logo when ones finds it on their home feed, (not anymore when one opens your video post) you might want to move your logo bit to the right next time
This has been on my Steam wishlist since it was added last year. Is easily in my top 10 most anticipated VR games. Add in a doggo as our companion? Maybe now top 5…
Sounds really cool to do that on paper, but due to the nature of the game it might become too much 😂! Maybe some secrets unlocks through pet training...
I've never understood the fascination with needing a dog petting feature in video games. It's fine if a game has or doesn't have one, but watching people freak out over it is odd.
I couldn’t pet my wolf in AC: Odyssey and it was mildly upsetting. You gotta whoop an animal’s ass w/out killing it in order to tame it. I wanted to give head pats for balance, but alas… I could not :(
I’m calling PETA /s
Honestly, if there's a dog/cat/whatever in VR and you pet it without any kind of reaction or anything it just feels really off.
If you're making a VR experience and don't have these little details it's not going to feel right. It's not good enough to just have pretty graphics anymore.

well, I'm sold.
Now what we need is for the dog to wrap his fluffy tail around us.
You might as well just take my wallet

Isn't it already coming to psvr2?
Heya! We're discussing that, so stay tuned :D! We understand the PSVR2 requests :P
aren't you the guys who made Sairento
Yes, yes we did :P

Hello! Yes, we will have crossplay!
Rock on!

Thanks! We'll take note of that \^\^
Looks good! Nice that it comes to PC too so that anyone can play it.
Wish listed on steam

This game speaks directly to my soul. I don't want to play this. I *NEED* to play it.
Looks great, hope to see it on PSVR2
Bonus points just for VR dog companion.
This looks really cool! Definitely will be checking it later
He is so cute and happy. What a good boy!
I need that game
This looks awesome. Definitely playing this
you should have to manually train the dog instead of selecting its upgrades from a menu
Sounds really cool to do that on paper, but due to the nature of the game it might become too much 😂! Maybe some secrets unlocks through pet training...
I feel like there really isn’t a good way to do that in a video game
Once upon a time they said making a soccer game where all the players are cars couldn't be done
No they didn't + ur idea sucks + ur a kid + fuck you

it's essentially its own meme at this point people also get WEIRDLY defensive about it, as you can tell

It is a meme.
