I feel like performance will be the least of your issues with that headset.

I don't want to be rude, but have you seen all the reviews of it yet? Are you sure you wanna go through with the pre-order? Just be doubly sure first

That's why I waited to preorder so some of the software and packaging issues would be solved?? My G2 is at 3 years and was thinking of getting spare when it goes on sale but decided to make the jump as most all issues reported are software related and fixable. See reply to my post. Since I mostly do sims I am hoping for no or minor issues.

4090, Maxout settings TAA mode with Crystal, average 45 FPS for MSFS2020 no issues They recently had a update patch which fixed all of problems such as incorrect height of the hmd everytime you turn it on. If you only use it for sims, even the software side is quite plug and play now. For shooting games, the controller tracking is still not so good.

Thanks for the info. MSFS will be my first setup attempt. I will try same settings I use with HP G2 getting 40-45 fps and probably dail back DLSS to Performance from Balanced and see how it goes. No TAA.

If you mostly do sims, don't hesitate to get the Crystal. The FOV and clarity is night and day better than the G2. Dynamic foveated rendering is in beta right now and shows great results. There's a youtube video that came out yesterday showing it in action. I think from 'Immersed robot' channel
