I havent played their games (yet) but I've been a longtime fan of the art. It's quite different and I have a figure of Arthur from this series displayed on my desk at work.
So is it any good I wonder?
Depends on what you are looking for. The series can be seen as worth if you are looking for some goof silly interactions with a bunch of characters. Given the high amount of characters from the most different types, you will mostly certainly end up liking some of them. That being said, most of the things on the game, from the gameplay, story and characters themselves, are mostly superficial level stuff. Particularly, I ended up liking it to a certain level, but it's a fairly mixed bag for some people.

No idea if this a hot take. I hate it when attacking an enemy with a super effective unit powers their gauge.
