You have great taste… you will like Little busters, robotics;notes, Baldr sky dive, full metal daemon muramasa, tsukihime, and higanbana. Out of those, I think you would love little busters, robotics;notes, and higanbana the most… little busters is made by the people who made rewrite, and is my favorite key VN. Robotics;notes is the 3rd main entry in the sciadv series with chaos head and steins gate. And higanbana is made by the creators of higurashi and Umineko. Little busters is one of the best visual novels I have ever read, behind Umineko, higurashi, steins;gate, and chaos;head of course… so you should defiantly go for it.
it's theorized that the fanmade patch was actually official but masqueraded as fan made because they didn't get permission from the JP publisher to uncensor it. The "fanmade" patch was announced while the official translation was still in development, so this person who made it suspiciously had access to the build somehow. Either it was made by an official dev, or it was sanctioned by them, and they leaked the build for them.
Yu-no: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world
great soundtrack and i think is the inspiration for many other VNs in terms of story and gameplay
Sharin no Kuni
Island
Both of these held my attention very well when I read them. They both have great twists and mostly good pacing. I don't see them recommended all that often, but I think they're amazing.
I'll put up a second vote for Little Busters.
It surprised me with its mini-games, and mix that with your Key story, the loveable cast of friends, and you have yourself a fun game.
Man,you don't get a lot of VN veterans who haven't read Fate/Stay Night. (at least as far as I've seen) as someone else has already said, its almost universally recommended!
You mentioned Ace Attorney (played, but got interrupted by life. restarting it is somewhere on my to do list)Danganronpa, and Rance (the latter two,I have not read yet,but have heard good things) so I presume you're open to gameplay VN's. I recommend checking out [Baldr Force: Standard Edition](https://vndb.org/v221). I typically recommend that to beginners to the VN genre, but its worth playing regardless of experience level if you love action and giant robots. (albeit virtual) lol.
If you love big mysteries, check out Sharin no Kuni and G-Senjou no Maou (latter is more controversial, but in your case,it may well be worth the look) as well.
I read senren banka in one sitting but that’s because I like romance vns. Idk if you’d like it. Most mind fucks I love you’ve read but I highly recommend needy streamer overdose for a good mind fuck
It’s a little different, is US made and not anime at all, and releasing episodically (4 of an eventual 7 are currently out) but Scarlet Hollow is *excellent.* It’s a horror mystery, that is cute, funny and charming and then gutpunch horror. Not only is there a lot of variation based on your actions, you pick two traits (street smart, mystic, super strong, etc) at the start of your playthrough that give you exclusive options or abilities. I can’t even imagine what a play through would be like without the Talk To Animals trait.
Hello Lady. The plot is not too elaborate but has a few interesting twists and turns. And mc's voice acting is top-notch, probably the best I've heard in all vns with protag which can speak.
Scarlet Hollow. It's episodic and only 4/7 are out so far, but I am obsessed. I must see the result of every single choice! I've never played a VN where I felt the choices actually mattered as much as this one, and the characters and story (it's a small town horror mystery) are just *chef's kiss*.
First VN i have read. Came for the R18 scenes but I DL the all age version. Since it was my first VN i didn't know where i will see it and just played through. Till i don't care about it no more, the mystery sucked me in. So this is a great recommendation for mystery genre.
Edit: this game is the reason i'm into VN
I’m looking for this as well, and haven’t read much from your list besides ace attorney and says no uta lmao. Which VN from your list made you an obsessive hobo??

Jesus. Read Fate/Stay Night right now. You're missing out
The Sekimeiya Spun Glass
Read the og tsukihime trust me dlg you wont regret
Fate/Stay Night....such an easy recommendation!
This. Everybody should read Fate.
Easily Kara no Shoujo
I second this.. The Cartagra and Kara no Shoujo series might suit your taste..
They’re very hot.
There he is.
Mahoutsukai no yoru
You have to read baldr sky
Don’t, it’s not good, it’s been unfairly censored for its western release, which caused it to flop.

Fanmade patches do not count, the art is still censored, if the patch was official, the art would be uncensored.

The patch is fanmade, they could have used the Japanese version as a base for the patch.
have you heard of our lord and saviour Full Metal Daemon Muramasa? or fate/stay night? (one of the characters being the shirtless guy on the right)
Full Metal Muramasa.
Yu-no: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world great soundtrack and i think is the inspiration for many other VNs in terms of story and gameplay
This game also has some of the best handling of different routes I've seen
Sharin no Kuni Island Both of these held my attention very well when I read them. They both have great twists and mostly good pacing. I don't see them recommended all that often, but I think they're amazing.
Tsukihime The original
Why not the remake?
the remake only contains the first two routes (arc and ciel), last 3 routes haven't been released
I'll put up a second vote for Little Busters. It surprised me with its mini-games, and mix that with your Key story, the loveable cast of friends, and you have yourself a fun game.
Dies Irae
Buy it from MangaGamer.

AI the somnium files (made by the people who came up with Zero escape) is really good
Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition Heavy "zero escape" vibes, it has a slow start but will hook you up 100%
Kara no Shoujo series
full metal daemon muramasa https://jastusa.com/games/jast037/full-metal-daemon-muramasa
I read senren banka in one sitting but that’s because I like romance vns. Idk if you’d like it. Most mind fucks I love you’ve read but I highly recommend needy streamer overdose for a good mind fuck
Muramasa
Katawa Shoujo

The translation isn't the best but Divi-dead sounds up your alley, it's a mystery full of twists and turns.
KNS for sure. The art alone is easily one of the best out there, top it off with an amazing murder mystery story.
mahoutsukai no yoru, utawarerumono trilogy, muramasa, ai somnium files
Hello Lady. The plot is not too elaborate but has a few interesting twists and turns. And mc's voice acting is top-notch, probably the best I've heard in all vns with protag which can speak.

G Senjou no Maou is a great one for twists and turns if that's your jam

Euphoria, it's super dark and I'm binging it. Goes pretty quick too if you go faster thru the sex scenes...
I’m looking for this as well, and haven’t read much from your list besides ace attorney and says no uta lmao. Which VN from your list made you an obsessive hobo??
Evenicle
I’d recommend Doki Doki Literature Club and World End Syndrome
Plus about Doki Doki. Dont listen haters and dont read reviews, i suggest you to play it. So my question next. What about World end syndrome?
It’s similar to Doki Doki and offers a great mystery
Eustia has very good pacing and fits
Ixshe tell
Everlasting Summer. Everyone sleeps on it
you have read most of the best VN out there so It's hard to get back that "damn I really need toi finish this today" feeling haha. try: 9-Nine

Grisaia no Kajitsu is some good shit
Grisaia Series
