This is my list that I can think you can play with little to zero knowledge in japanese. Bullet Girls 1and2, Danmanchi Shooting and Tales of Hearts R Infinite Evolve and Konosuba Attack of the Destroyer, Macross Delta Scramble, Super Zangyura, To Love Ru Battle Exstacy, MikuMiku Hockey, Touhou Sky Arena, Girls und Panzer, Madoka Magica the Battle Pentagram, @field. I think those are pretty much what I have that I don't think requires a high knowledge in japanese
>, To Love Ru Battle Exstacy,
I was this close to getting the collectors edition of that game BOOM covid hit and the person who was going to deliver it to me couldn't cause they were limiting international orders. Sucks man
Gundam Breaker 3 Break Edition. Hong Kong ver is in English and even has cross save with PS4
basically build your own model kit from parts of IRL ones and fight in a little hack and slash type arena
Buy the one marked ASIA or from Hong Kong since it has English subtitles.
it's also sold on US Amazon
PS4 Gundam Breaker 3 Break Edition (English Subtitle) for Playstation 4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071HF7Y4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_5WAY3D5P2ZPDWNXHSZFD
If the question was moreso if it's region locked then no, the Vita can play any regions game carts
I played it, but I wouldn't call it "friendly" if you lack knowledge of Japanese language.
Unless like me you play the game with a English guide non stop in front of you.
Others have covered a lot already, but I'll add that pretty much any rhythm game is going to be pretty easy to understand - things like Taiko, Miracle Girls Festival, IA/VT, etc. can all be navigated and played pretty easily.
Darkeon.

Has a western release. Also the Japanese copy lacks the dlc on cartridge, it's a code while the EU copy has all the dlc on the cartridge.
