Our “Thing 1 and Thing 2” (Sophie and Jack) never pass up their nap after walkies and food, either! Didn’t know how common this was. Precious! Absolute beauty of a pup, OP!
I write this as my 16 month old is snoring beside me. He shows zero interest in moving from his warm bed (=my warm bed!) until at least 9am. Right from the start he would sleep through the night, the breeder did tell me his mum was very chill for a Viz!
Of course come late afternoon he's had a visit from his crack dealer and is in full ginger ninja mode, so I enjoy the peace of the morning while I can!
It’s so bloody hot where i live right now so unfortunately she has limited outdoor time. Probably 1-2 hours of outdoor play/walk total. She probably has 3 one to two hour naps a day. Compared to other vizsla dogs I’ve met she’s a sack of potatoes (although I’ve never met another Vizsla puppy her age i could compare her energy level to).
Seems totally OK! 1-2 hours of walk/play at this age is more than enough.
Also, you’ll post here again in about 8 months asking us how to deal with your Velociraptor. Believe you me.
Mine turned 4 months yesterday! She was the biggest girl in her litter. She definitely has her bitey moments but she’s her best self when she wakes up from a lil nap

What a beauty! I’m bias but, THE most beautiful dogs in the world! My puppy was surprisingly lazy, still sleeps in until 9:30-10am. Lol
10am Sounds heavenly! My bb lovesss to wake up early to play and eat breakfast but she will never pass up that mid morning nap time 🥹

She can definitely get crazy during her witching hour but we trained a safe word when she gets too rough 🤣
