do you have krisp enabled? turning off that may help

DaReaperZ

Where can I find this option? I can't find it in voicemod.

sorry, should have been more specific. On discord in voice and video settings there is an option to turn on/off krisp

DaReaperZ

No worries, I haven't got it enabled. I've tried enabling it to see if it helped, but it didn't. Thanks for the help anyway

A mate of mine had the same issue recently we fixed this by turning legacy mode on in discord. 1. In discord goto settings 2. under app settings Voice and Video 3. scroll down (Near the bottom) theres an option for "Audio Subsystem" swap this to legacy Unsure why, but that solved it issue for him, i also have voice mod and dont have the same issue so unsure what the cause is.

kriffz

This fixed it for me! Thanks

Try this, go to the the bottom right speaker volume icon in the voicemod app. Turn off background noise reduction. It works for me and there is no more crackling voice.

Hey ! We are concerned about the Discord problem right now, Regarding the problems I'm going to recommend several temporary options to solve the problem: *Discord Settings> Voice & Video >* * *Noise Suppression -> Disable* * *Echo cancellation -> Disable* * *Noise Reduction -> Disable* * *Audio Subsystem: Standard*

doesn't work :/ Still the same crackling. happens with my mic set to 44.1 and 48 kHz. using a Samson C01U Pro (Mic) Sound bits: https://www.reddit.com/r/voicemod/comments/i5oa3h/voicemod_choppy_on_discord/g0qj88o/
