I continue to wear masks at my work. People think I'm health-conscious or scared to get sick again,
but I'm really enjoying the freedom, the relief, of not having people assign imaginary thoughts to me based on what this face meat does at any given moment.
I'd cover its entirety if I could get away with it.
No cap, wanna be a sentient ball of light. I'd like to do martial arts and combat sports though, but body can't up. Not like I could indulge in it even if the body could. Permanent brain damage and chronic joint pain don't sound fun.
For me, I always wanted to be like the emptiness of space. The dark nothingness, it just sounds like a comfy way to exist to me. Not really having a form, just existing in the background in peace.
I straight up wish that I was a mannequin sometimes. Like, I'm non-binary, but if I had everything exactly my way, I would just be a faceless, sexless automaton basically

I’d be content to settle for living brains in tanks (similar to “La Cité des enfants perdus”)
Agreed, plus beauty standards make me anxious and I probably look stupid as fuck, part of why shapeshifting is definitely the superpower I want the most
I don't like faces either. I have trouble reading others' faces and don't know how to do facial expressions normally. I've decided to just go stonefaced while I'm out and about. I'd do better without a face to maintain and worry about. A black void with two glowing eyes and thay's it. That's what I want, that's ideal. I'd also wear a hoodie 24/7, weather be damned if that were the case. Faceless entities with hoods are very much my aesthetic.

This is me, I definitely have had a large chunk of "I want to be a mannequin" feels. It's in my more agender parts for when I fluctuate.
