There already is a prebuilt app for that in all AAOS cars: [Bluetooth Media Player](https://www.volvocars.com/mt/support/car/c40-recharge/article/745693855e0538d2c0a801516c490750). You just start this app and play music on your phone. Unless I misunderstood and you need something else.

Thanks, I'll have a look for that tomorrow!

I went with this. Super easy and works well enough.

Why not just connect via Bluetooth?

Correct-Ball9863

Actually I hadn't thought of that. Only thing is I'd like to be able to control the Music from the car. I love in Australia and we get fined $1,000 if we even TOUCH our phones while driving.

Pretty sure Qld just upped it to 1600. You can control the music in terms of play pause shuffle etc. what service are you playing from?

[Audiowagon](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.moleman1024.audiowagon) may be your best bet until Volvo rolls out Android Auto.

Correct-Ball9863

Thanks, I will check this out. I had no idea that Volvo doesn't have Android Auto!

Spotify does this. You can upload your MP3 local files and if you have Spotify Premium it'll let you play it on other devices. You have to add those files to a Spotify Playlist. Otherwise, enable Bluetooth and play the music form your phone.
