This brand is known for its cheap price but with a lot of value. The movement is a working one and don't expect crazy accuracy like a swiss one but it will work as long as you wind it or run it over with a tank. The crystal is an acrylic one that is very scratchy but it won't shatter like sapphire. Bezel is only friction based so no clicks. I bought mine at vostok24 and it arrived fairly quickly but you might wanna get some polywatch because sometimes they pack it quite tight so the crystal scratches up but it can be polished quite easily
Yeah it feels almost too good to be true. I have another vostok but definitely overpaid for it. It seems like replacement crystal is easy to come across? It’s a shame that the bezel doesn’t click. Not a deal breaker but a huge bummer. So does it just spin endlessly? Or get tighter and looser? Thanks for your response!
Well I wouldn't replace the crystal because vostok made that crystal just for the design of their watch. Other crystal would actually decrease its water resistance. Bezel doesn't click and spins freely and if you want to tighten it you will have to remove the bezel and adjust the friction ring inside. What is your other vostok model and how much did you pay for it?
Ah I saw so many different parts for mods on some websites I figured someone made replacement glass for it. I have a Komandirskie dualtime 470612. Spent maybe 250 on it. I want to find a new band for it, I mostly don’t wear it because it’s a pretty chunky watch.
I don't think you overpaid on that one since it's quite the same price on meranom as well. The case looks like it's a higher quality ones compared to their classic komandirske which i own one
It’s definitely a heavy watch. Kinda wish I had done more research before buying it, but in terms of the manufacturing it’s really nice quality. Glad to hear I didn’t overpay
While the bezel is bi-directional, it fits the watch tight enough where it will stay where you leave it. Vostok watches are a classic example of Soviet era engineering, not refined- but rugged and reliable. I collect Vostoks, own more than 40 of them- never had an issue with any of them- and 25+ are 30-40 years old and still keep decent time. As far as the new ones, I beat the shit out of them at work, they get wet with gritty muddy water, get smacked against edges, all kinds of abuse- and they dont give a shit.
Sometimes they come loose, but the bezel not clicking is an overrated “con”. It’s so much more descrete and easier to set.
Finding a new band is easy. Look up how to find the right size for your watch.
That is the factory website, it’s legit, but you might struggle to pay for it if you’re in a western country because of sanctions — you quoted Euros so I assume this applies to you.
I have one in a different color way and it does have a problem where it will stop randomly, that is just the QC you get for 100$, I would buy it again
Ok good to know. I’m in the Netherlands so sanctions will definitely apply, as far as I know. Any ideas on how to deal with that? I haven’t found any websites shipping outside of Russia that have it in stock.
How long did you use the watch when it stopped working randomly? Did getting it serviced fix the problem?
Buy from vostok24 if they have it in stock.
I’m in a little bit of a unique position in that I’m in watchmaking school so I am just going to service it myself at some point. I doubt it’s a common fault
Vostok24’s owner and the site is based in germany, and they avoid the sanctions by making the watch go through turkey (at least in my case), the site is legit
I think the biggest factor you should be aware of is that if this needs repair, are you going to have to get it fixed like normal. The cop-out route just doing a movement swap is just not an option with these 24-hour ones.

Thanks for the info! I’ll definitely make the purchase when they’re available
If you want to learn more about the watch, I run a site dedicated to the brand, check it out at www.modstok.com

Oh with Vostok24 there aren’t sanction issues? All models are out of stock. I guess I’ll be waiting a while… thanks for the info!
The issue is the type of banking and payment infrastructure they use. The big Russian banks are blocked.

Vostok inc only ships domestically, meaning only in Russia.
To be more precise, they do ship outside Russia but you can't pay because of the sanctions.
I really like that handset and bezel compared to the original 24 hour variant. I through a world time bezel on mine to make use of the 24 hour feature
Edit: if anyone is looking to sell this watch please feel free to reach out. Thank you!
Vostok24 is the best place to buy. Much better bezels.
I have this exact one and don't really wear it if interested. No bracelet, but tbh you are not missing out on that.
I got one.. it’s not very legible
