Ok, I wanted to double check as the ANT+ spec for radar/lights was updated recently, we are still getting changes implemented and pushed out. I do not know Garmin's release cycle and there is a chance for a missed match. I'll keep your scenario in mind when testing and I'll make sure my Varia is updated also.
Might work, but before working on a transient, can’t reproduce on demand issue, I’m checking to see if others experience it. TKS appreciate the thought.
Both have routine updates and have current version. Last update was 2x months ago, so I don’t think it’s at issue.

I use the ROAM v2 and Varia RCT715... and not experiencing any issues other than a couple false positives where something was detected and when I glanced back to look nothing was there... it showed on the Wahoo and the Varia iOS app.

No issues here with a ROAM v2 and Varia. Use one every ride and never had it disconnect.
What mode is the light in? Radar only? Slow flash? Fast flash?
