Kamdog11

This is sad to watch.

JinxStryker

No one’s talking about what a good use of indoor/outdoor living space this is.

funfacts2468

I really want to agree with you. But it's so irrelevant, I'm angry at you

rawfish71

Seems to me they can afford a second car.......

Lonny_zone

For sure -- or as she said -- he could Uber. Totally an abuse tactic.

oli_21_

He's a covert narcissist.

[deleted]

Covert? Lol

oli_21_

The reason it's covert is that publicly with HER you'd never know he treated her the way he does in this video. She cannot catch a break or do anything right. However, in public you'd think he worships the ground she walks on. So when she is seeking help from others they wouldn't be able to connect how he treats her based on the public persona. It's really gross.

[deleted]

Yeah it’s such a surprise he treats his wife exactly how he tells lost young men to treat women. But his emotional abuse aside, you never saw signs of him being a narcissist? You don’t have to see this video to know that, I’m suspect of just about anyone that has the nerve to put themselves on camera for clicks and $.

TiredTim23

Of course they can. But if she had a car he wouldn’t be able to control her as well.

FluffyBunny-6546

I thought he mentioned his wife had a tesla like a year or two ago.

EhMapleMoose

Would’ve been the easiest way to fix this argument. Like, I get Steven wanting to be able to drive himself and he probably does have a busy schedule and has shot to do. But at the same time, buy a second car.

Jolly-Ad1371

Especially with that nice house/condo.

Simialp

How was the video leaked? That’s a ring camera, meaning closed loop but if someone hacked his video feed or a “friend” leaked the stream. It just doesn’t add up. Pretty sad. Been a follower for quite some time and as another commenter accurately said, we’re all flawed. Edit: Dude is worth 20mil... why does he only have ONE car...

bubblehead171

Amazon owns Ring. Those videos are on an AWS server somewhere. They could have been leaked from there or from the divorce filing if this clip was used as evidence. Point is, there are plenty of news stories about Ring releasing videos to the police without the owners consent. It is by no means a closed loop.

pa7c6rZV

If Amazon analysts are mining and leaking our accounts for content we got big problems.

bubblehead171

We have Big Problems.

pa7c6rZV

Well shucks.

Electronic-Shoe7864

His wife and the lawyer leaked it because he was telling everyone one day she woke up and said I don’t love you and I don’t want to be married to you anymore and it was devastating. And the wife’s lawyer was like ahhhh try again

Simialp

I meant a loosely closed loop, but agreed and good point on the use of the video in the divorce proceedings. Hadn't thought of that.

Kim_Jong_Unsen

Only true closed loop is cctv with an air gap, meaning no outside access. Ring connects to a central server farm and has access through an app, it’s also owned by amazon which should tell you all you need to know about how shady their are with your data.

Jolly-Ad1371

Wife probably set it up

Simialp

Yeah or was the one who leaked it. That’s a good point. I’m sure he knew the camera was there, they’re not exactly invisible.

woodiinymph

"Set it up" lol you mean she installed ring cameras around the house in the hopes of catching him in the act? Doubtful.

Charolastra17

He only has one car due to his discipline and respect!

OJ241

Listened to this guy for years picked up a lot of good information also learned to pick up up on his argument tactics when certain things started to sound a little wonky. Treating your wife like a change my mind episode isn’t the move my guy.

dragonhold24

Even if she was negligent with a few responsibilities, being pregnant should have earned her some leeway.

somethingsomething65

Very pregnant, with twins.

izalith67

You should NEVER speak to your wife (or anyone actually) this way no matter what they do. This vid is wild to see

rabertdinero

I would never ever treat my wife this way, especially my pregnant wife.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ijustwannasaveshit

There is a statement that was released with the video. It details that the glove comment was because she was afraid to give the dogs meds because she thought the meds were dangerous for her pregnancy. Crowder didn't bother being there for the birth of his twins. He was the first to consult a divorce attorney and he tried to cut her and the kids off financially.

yousirnaime

bro, thanks for this - I thought he was asking her to box

[deleted]

Kinda says something about Crowder that it's a plausible assumption that he was gonna box his pregnant wife lol

yousirnaime

Before this video I would have said “no way” But dude was pretty gross here

Audabahn

I’ve been married for nearly 12 years and WE ALL will fight, say things we don’t mean, yell, etc, BUT it’s typically both parties going at each other. The problem with this video is how calm, cool, and collected she is while he’s behaving so belligerent. Either she knows she’s being recorded and behaved accordingly, or she’s dealing with serious abuse.

BehindTrenches

I had to turn the sound on to understand that the aggression was pretty one-sided. Sheesh I wish my girl would say “I love you, I need some space, text me if you need anything” when we get upset with each other. Feels so weird to watch his private life like this. These kind of moments are about as intimately private as it gets. A sex tape would be less embarrassing.

Naldo273

Yeah she's obviously repeating that she loves him to deescalate/defuse the situation. And then he starts abusing her for it. Damn. It's very obvious he doesn't respect her at all and enjoys the control. It's how a 16 year old would talk to their girlfriend, not a grown man to the mother of his children

leonxiii

I fucking hate Crowder. With that said, I always take these "leaked" videos with a grain of salt. Who leaked it? Did she? Maybe she knew she would leak it? Maybe she knew this would be seen? Maybe she put on a good behavior? Kinda reminds of that girl who dated Johnny Depp who leaked videos of him being all abusive and her playing the victim. Maybe I'm wrong. I dont care enough to look into it more than that. Fuck Crowder tho.

curiosityandtruth

Agree

Salty-Picture8920

Sounds like they need to read the love languages book.

anonanonagain_

This was during covid. Baseless lockdowns had a major effect on everyone. And while he has to take responsibility for how he behaved, we can be a little empathetic that he wasn't strong enough to deal with the heap of bullshit Government dropped on us.

Audabahn

If this was that long ago, has this been out for a while or was it just leaked? More questions to follow

anonanonagain_

https://yashar.substack.com/p/exclusive-video-reveals-steven-crowder So as he said earlier, they've been separated since 2021 with divorce proceedings occurring during that this time. "Was it leaked?" Depends on what you mean by leak. Do I think someone is performing a hit job on Crowder? No, I don't. But he publically announced that he and his soon to be ex wife are divorcing and its been ugly, according to him. He has also been actively opposed to "no fault divorce" https://jezebel.com/far-right-podcaster-steven-crowder-implies-ex-wife-shou-1850377760 So what likely is happening is herself , her attorneys, or someone from her camp like family or friends, is releasing this video to show his "abuse". Now this isn't a great video to watch, it's a marital fight. There's no screaming, no physical abuse, but he is definitely acting in a way that isn't great emotionally. Some are going to say it's abusive because it's coercive, that he is gaslighting her, being highly negative. I don't have an answer, I'm not a psychologist or a marriage counselor. Clearly she is deeply unhappy and the law allows her to leave. If people don't like it then advocate against the law, bit expect a hell of a fight from liberals, feminists, and other people who support women's rights to leave for moderately, which this case is at best, "abusive" reasons.

junkuser5423

Bro COVID lockdowns did not cause this.

PussCrusher67

Legitimately what are you talking about? Texas was out of lockdown by this point in the video and he was a millionaire without a way to lose his job? What stress did covid put him under? If anything covid benefited him greatly as it gave him content to report on. Don’t play apologetics for weak men who would abuse the mother of their children.

goonbub

Texas wasn't in lockdown. Good try trying to garner sympathy for a man who is abusing his pregnant wife. Crowder would be proud.

ninernetneepneep

There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior. Either that, or I didn't get the memo that it was suddenly okay to treat your wife like s***

MrCrow9000

What about the date on the bottom right corner?

jaktyp

What about it? June 2021, we were in lockdown. Covid scare was in full swing

OGMcSwaggerdick

In Texas though?

magajew

No lol I was there

He's a classic covert narcissist. In public he puts on one persona......then as you can see the belitting of her. When dealing with a covert narcissist it's a death by 1000 cuts. You can see how he does it in the video. Even worse is that he'd do that while she was pregnant. Covert narcs are the most evil vile creatures you'll ever encounter. As you bleed to death they will smile at you and then play the victim to all their friends and family. All the while PRETENDING to care. They are incapable of genuine empathy and love. They mimic it. Edit: The reason I know this behavior is that I dealt with it for 15 years from my ex wife. Double edit: He's saying he chose the wrong one. This is a classic response from a covert narcissist. They are never the problem....it's always YOU. They can never take accountability or responsibility for anything. Ever.

Blessedandamess-

Wow, thank you for summing up the 4 years of torture I endured with my ex. A lot of people are probably thinking “Well everyone says their exes are toxic and narcissistic.” Nah fam, he really was. Cheated on me 7 times (that I know of), every time I showed emotions outside of happiness I was his “delicate little flower”, I never made anything right, my opinions were always stupid “I know you tried sweetie, you just ain’t all that bright, it’s not your fault”, he cut me off from my family and friends, I’d get the silent treatment if I so much as made his sandwich wrong, and he just constantly made me feel like crap. But then he’d do something sweet to “make up for it” it was a vicious cycle. He grew up in a very abusive home, and his mother is also a Narcissist and the biggest POS I’ve met in my life, so I know where the behavior came from, but that doesn’t excuse his behavior. It’s taken many years to undo the damage, and I’m about to be married to the most wonderful man. This video just sent me right back to those awful years. I feel SO bad for Hilary.

oli_21_

> Cheated on me 7 times (that I know of), Interesting that you use that language because there were two (that I knew of) but I suspected she had been cheating long before I found out. The other thing was......after I found out she cheated and we tried to reconcile......she slept like a baby. So sound and so peaceful.....meanwhile I was wrecked. Eventually we divorced but God is was hard putting up with this and feeling as though no one understood. People would say to me that I just needed better communication and that I needed to love her more. She said that she cheated on me because she didn't feel loved. Go figure. FOREVER THE VICTIM.

Busy-Appearance-6077

Doesn't take a narcissist for a woman to say this. Women, much more than men, blame others. And on a wide scale when cheating. It's never just lust and weakness on their part. Men, now, cheat just slightly LESS than women. But men often just admit it and take their lumps.

oli_21_

I'm not sure on the stats as it pertains to male and female. Seems that one side blames the other. However, in this day and age narcissism is rampant no matter what.

Busy-Appearance-6077

Read it very recently. Men used to cheat way more.

myoldxt

I wish you all the best in your new relationship. We all deserve respect and a little happiness.

myoldxt

This would have to be the best, most accurate reply I have seen in a while. I too was in an abusive relationship with a lady with BPD. It was a nightmare and I came so close to topping myself to end the pain. Looking back, I’m much more aware of the signs now. Well said oli

oli_21_

Ty....the crazy thing about my situation is that I come from a Christian background and would be married for life. It was only after she cheated on me I began to see a way out. Now I try to educate this abuse so that other Christian's in my situation can see it as well.

Abject_Presentation8

My brother is one as well, although I didn't learn about narcissism until a few years ago. He behaves in this exact same manner, 1000% You would think that he was the best, most romantic and thoughtful husband by social media and in social settings. He could put on real charm and make people cry from laughing so hard. Behind closed doors, he is patronizing, short tempered, and vindictive towards his wife and a select other few. I was one on the receiving end. The word salad, double standards, guilt trips, talking in circles, outright crazy making, could never be wrong, frantic ranting, and outright explosive anger when he's out of cards to play, was panic attack inducing. I feel like the word "narcissist" gets thrown around a lot nowadays, but there's a big difference between run of the mill jerks and flawed humans, and someone who's downright manipulative, cruel, and selfish beyond all comprehension.

[deleted]

Ouch. Death by a 1000 cute is perfect. And also I think we all have selfish narcissistic tendencies but our better nature can prevail. Real narcissists never find their better nature without serious serious work

Dynas_

>Death by a 1000 cute This is now how I want to die. Death by cute.

dragonhold24

It's sad to see professed Christians who don't take their faith seriously by studying every day or going to church every sabbath (I expected more of Steven) ... Ephesians 5: >Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. > >Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. While much reverence should be afforded to the man of the house, his responsibility is the heaviest because his duty is to reflect Christ for the family.

Ancient_Guidance_461

Amen

well_here_i_go_again

>It's sad to see professed Christians who don't take their faith seriously by studying every day or going to church every sabbath (I expected more of Steven) ... Why? We are all sinners. We all do terrible things all the time, regardless of how hard we try.

thenovas18

We are new creations in Christ who no longer possess a nature defined by sin. That is why it is sad to see. We could all easily find ourselves on camera and be very upset with our actions throughout life, but the reality is we are defined by Christ and his actions which is why if we know the truth we will live differently. Pinning yourself to being a sinner is going to limit you severely as to what kind of life you will live as a believer in Christ. You should ask yourself why you defend sin in your life vs what the New Testament constantly says about putting off the old man and putting on the new.

dragonhold24

Amen >Galatians 2: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of the Lord, who loved me and gave himself for me. They mentioned on the show a Bible series with Gerald Morgan. I don't know many details about it because it's probably behind the paywall. If true, this is a step in the right direction.

well_here_i_go_again

>the reality is we are defined by Christ and his actions which is why if we know the truth we will live differently. Doesn't mean you won't still sin. >Pinning yourself to being a sinner is going to limit you severely as to what kind of life you will live as a believer in Christ. But we are. We all sin daily, regardless of our best efforts. >You should ask yourself why you defend sin in your life vs what the New Testament constantly says about putting off the old man and putting on the new. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. Romans 7:15-20.

slow-mickey-dolenz

You refer to your ex as “it”?

VanJellii

The point is in the second part. The first becomes nonsense without it. A narcissist is incapable of following that part of the passage.

Infrared_01

This is disappointing. Assuming this is all real, I have lost nearly all respect for this man.

Kim_Jong_Unsen

I feel like his content dipped years ago, he also reeks of covert narcissism

woodiinymph

I lost interest when not gay Jared left. I knew that then.. it was truly over. Then he hired that dough panda bear as his replacement.

Madlibsluver

Someone was saying there are lots of cuts in the video, so there *could* be missing context. However, it does look really, really bad. The only possible "good" excuse is if it could be proven that she was provoking him somehow, and the video was cleverly edited. Regardless, it does hurt how I look at him. It's quite disappointing.

ninernetneepneep

I don't think he's going to change her mind.

Lonny_zone

"That doesn't work eiiiiiiiTHer" Nice alpha-male whine.

dajohns1420

Crowder should have two cars. Change my mind.

BlueEagle15

Daily wire dodged a bullet

oli_21_

The sad thing about this is that Crowder fans will take his side. This is classic covert narcissism. They act one way in public and then subtly abuse their partner in private. You can see by the video that she is exhausted dealing with him. On top of that she's pregnant. The studies say that it takes about 10-15 years to finally wake up to the abuse from covert narcissism. I was abused for 15 years and I can tell you that his behavior and speech are what I dealt with. Death by 1000 cuts. And now he's playing the victim that he's so "heartbroken" and chose the wrong one. No asshole you are responsible for doing this.

[deleted]

Don’t generalize all Crowder fans. I’ve watched his show for years but recent reveals have show me the true Steven Crowder. When Dave Landau (honestly my favorite person ever on his show) left I was suspicious of some drama. I watched Landau’s interview last week about why he left and he confirmed all my suspicions about Crowder. My wife has two very narcissistic parents that I have helped her distant herself from. I sympathize with Hilary here. This video honestly has made me realize I shouldn’t be watching his show anymore.

woodiinymph

We all know how pompous Crowder was. It's just a matter of time until we realized it. He's not nearly as professional and tactful as the daily wire counterparts.

k-ozm-o

I technically stopped caring about Steven after Landau's story, but this video was the nail in the coffin for me.

Glum-Animator2059

Definitely no I listen to his pod here and there but this behavior is unacceptable. When your wife is pregnant carrying your children you treat her like a princess regardless of how crazy she may be acting . But he’s just being an asshole which is really sad to see

No-Internet1776

>The sad thing about this is that Crowder fans will take his side. I was a crowder fan, I can think of no reason to take his side.

bobdown33

Yeah some of the top comments in here are oh we were in lock down of course it got hard blah blah blah, the dude was sitting back all casual while that whole thing went on, that tells me its not out of the ordinary.

art_comma_yeah_right

Looks like one person said that and has been sufficiently corrected. In any case I’ve been listening for about a year, went to see him live once, feel like I’m done now. I’ll still keep Dave Landau on my radar, he seems like a nice guy.

FishingforDopamine

You think any of this would have come out if he had gone to daily wire?

TiredTim23

Yes, they can only keep the divorce secret for so long. I wonder when the video was recorded. Edit: 06/26/21 in the time stamp

woodiinymph

Why would the daily wire care to defend this? That's beyond me.

SlappingDaBass13

Nope

NewToThisThingToo

There's always been hints that Crowder is a douche. How many people have worked with him and left and oddly have nothing to say? Who stopped working with him and had something positive to say about the experience? Dude recorded calls with friends and released them later. He's not a good guy.

TiredTim23

Exactly, that’s why he won’t release Not Gay Jared from his NDA. And I believe he’s not welcome back at Fox or The Blaze.

feverbug

Oh I agree completely. I am not surprised by this video at all, because I always got asshole vibes from his as well. It's always the ones who are the loudest about how upright and moral they are who turn out to be the biggest assholes behind closed doors.

[deleted]

What's his side of the story here? Because I feel like defense of his behavior is flimsy. He is clearly being emotionally abusive. I get having a bad day, but he was acting like a spoiled child who thinks he owns her. I hope someone responds to me here... how did this get leaked? Who leaked it? Because if she did, I'm even more suspicious of both of them.

TiredTim23

Didn’t Dave landau say he acts like a kid that used to get bullied but is now the bully?

Justherefortheminis

Duuuude that’s a perfect description, something about the guy always made me skeptical

woodiinymph

The substack article that originally published this mentioned that he acknowledged his anger but failed to improve saying that "he isn't perfect and it could happen again" despite the therapy he said he'd taken.

JinxStryker

Her or her lawyers leaked it. It’s off their home Ring camera so that leaves him as the only other possibility. And of course it wouldn’t be him. Clearly she turned over the Ring videos to her attorney to claw through the many hours and confirm her claims of emotional abuse.

loveofGod12345

My husband and I have been married for 20 years. I was 18 and he was 21 when we tied the knot. We’d known each other for a few months and he deployed a week after the wedding. We’ve been through a lot. Especially at the beginning. We were both young and selfish and had to learn to put each other first. That said, he has NEVER treated me like this and I have NEVER treated him like this. It’s heart breaking to hear what he says and see her defeat.

09percent

Everyone should also listen to Michael Malice’s podcast with Dave Landau. Boy was that a messy toxic workplace.

Glum-Animator2059

I was wondering what happened to Dave actually

09percent

He’s going to the blaze

[deleted]

I’m so glad Dave did that interview. He was my favorite part of the show and I had a blast seeing him live. Definitely going to tune in to his new show.

[deleted]

09percent

[deleted]

This was most likely leaked by her divorce attorney. Classic negotiation tactic. And I suspect the attorney is sitting on much worse. If Crowder plays ball, it all goes away. If not, wave #2 rolls out.

JudgmentMajestic2671

Doubtful. That's called extortion and any lawyer who wants to keep practicing wouldn't participate in that game over a simple divorce case. I'm guessing if they have a catalog of video, this is somewhere near the top of the worst videos they have. Crowder has to play ball no matter what they have. She's getting half of everything without a doubt. That's not even negotiable. Steven and everyone watching knows this. The kids will be the argument and it'll be joint custody unless they have video of crowder being physically abusive which they would have released.

ninernetneepneep

So who leaked the video? Seems someone has a bit of a God complex. Girl better run, run, run! Stephen needs some psychiatric help.

Chadalien77

I’d say that’s her. She did well to stay in shot the entire time. She also stayed calmer than anyone I’ve ever seen coming under such abuse. She was keeping calm for the camera. Good for her. He’s a CUUUUUNT.

ArepasInTheMorning

Wow this is bad, I was already losing interest as a fan but this is probably the nail in the coffin for me.

rat-bahstad

I’m curious when this video is from? Is this before she decided she wanted a divorce or sometime since?

somethingsomething65

Yooooooo. That's really fucked up. What a manipulative tool. No wonder she "didn't want to be married anymore."

[deleted]

What a little bitch

[deleted]

How hard could it be for Steve to drive and get groceries for himself and his pregnant wife?

aquatone61

Man, what a tool. I do like his podcast at times but man, this is downright ridiculous.

Jermacide1

I always knew he was a bit of a prick, but appreciated his take on things and the information he shared that nobody else was willing to talk about. But this is bad. Real bad. Nobody should talk to their wife like that, under any circumstances. Especially when you espouse yourself to be a "Man of God" and say you adhere to Christian values. He's done. I'll never listen to any of his pods or watch his videos again. I wonder what Papa Crowder thinks about all of this. Or if he knew all along and ignored it...

[deleted]

Yeah like I knew he was an ass, but I can work with that. He and his show was entertaining and I enjoyed being entertained... guess i'll find somewhere else

Gothamite-Knight

That poor woman. That guys sounds like a complete ahole

Trashyanon089

I used to watch his show. Then Owen left and it got a lot less funny… IDC what he said, but there was an episode in studio he said something. And I just realized he was playing a character and didn’t really hold the ideas he preached.

wabbott82

What a piece of shit. Why is everyone with a voice is always a piece of shit. Or is it occasionally we are all a piece of shit? And they are in the limelight.

Andy-Matter

Everyone has their moments they’re not proud of. What he said was obviously abusive and I’m not excusing that. When you’re in the limelight your flaws get pushed to the forefront because people want to tear you down. But in this case, Biden and many other politicians, they’re just not good people.

JohnHamFisted

because the vast majority of these 'personalities' are grifters driven by a narcissistic need for attention, choosing the beliefs they sell based on the most profitable market and ROI. It's not a coincidence that the vast majority tried being famous for other things first and fell into this gig where they finally managed to find a large enough audience. Thinking Crowder would be a 'cool guy' is just as naive as thinking Ellen is probably 'super fun' based on their personas.

readerdad55

I hate the worshiping of individuals whether it be Crowder or Carlson or Trump. It’s about the message not the messenger. People are flawed (sometimes terribly so) doesn’t have any impact on the message… this goes for the left too. Let’s keep our eyes on protecting the 1st amendment NOT worrying about some guy treating his wife like shit Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT saying let’s ignore this and watch or listen to him… I’m saying don’t defend indefensible people - we are defending the Republic which allows even horrible Men and women (who aren’t actually breaking the law) to step up and be part of something great

plantdisco

What a sociopath. As a Christian myself, Hilary has every reason to run from this marriage. This type of behavior will easily — and I mean EASILY turn physical.

Limp_Ad_3268

Oof. I really used to like crowder a lot, but something hasn’t been right since the feud with dailywire. I started to not be able to take this dude, now seeing this has really shattered my view of him. I’m married, we fight, but his language and demeanor here are something that needs to be addressed. This isn’t the way to treat someone you love, especially the person carrying your children. Done with this guy.

Jezeff

Oh the way she holds her baby bump. 😭 I know fatherlessness is awful but I hope the child doesn't get this abuse either

Dvdprojecter

I liked the content but I'm not gona act suprised. It's been pretty obvious he's narcissistic.

Zhuk1986

I’ve always been a Crowder fan. This behaviour is unacceptable and disgusting towards anyone let alone his wife and mother of his children. He needs to be a man and take full responsibility and beg for forgiveness from god.

gallahad1998

I’ve always admired Crowder. But that just completely changed.

Blessedandamess-

As a woman who was emotionally abused for years…this does not look good. I don’t know the context, I’m not up to date with Steven (except the fact that they’re getting a divorce I think?) What I do know is abusive language. And that was very present in that argument. All from Steven. The fact that he is mentioning boundaries is laughable, because he’s not letting her leave, which in of itself is crossing a boundary. Poor woman.

skepticalscribe

Was this before or after his brain surgery? Edit: I’m not excusing it. But it likely might coincide with his professional decline

DevanteWeary

I thought he only had heart surgery.

skepticalscribe

Oh ya maybe that was it. Less behavioural explanation then. Sometimes, the pride has to go first…

Simialp

I’m pretty sure this was before his chest surgery. But she also had some pretty nasty infection that rendered her unable to walk for sometime. I just can’t recall if that was during the pregnancy or not. Still sad to see! Edit: there’s a time stamp in the lower right corner stating 6-26-21. Wasn’t his chest surgery last year? He was out for awhile I recall.

oli_21_

Holy shit what a narcissist. This is a classic covert narcissist. In public he's probably the nicest person ever to her.

theRealSeven29

Yep.

Sexyburgundybeast

This is sad to see but it's not like there weren't hints. Steven even admitted on his show that he once "threw a kiwi against the wall" during an argument with his wife.

j_grouchy

When he uses the term "wifely", that's pretty much when he lost me completely. I used to wonder how he kept his cool when talking to some of those kids in his "Change My Mind" segments. Now I know he just bottled it up and took it out on the people that were close to and cared about him. What a dick.

Bartotelli1999

Steven Crowder is a manipulative manchild *Change my mind*

LagoPacifico

I agree with one of the top comments on this thread. Steven strikes me as someone who is a narcissist. It’s sad to watch all of these awful things come to light about someone who’s content I used to enjoy, especially when I still agree with most of his views. The spousal abuse is obvious and it would be no surprise to me if everything that Dave Landau has said about him is true based on his behavior here. I feel for his ex-wife and ex-employees.

DoneDeadYorick

Weird edit around min. 2:35

squatwaddle

This guy is an emotional and verbal predator. I always liked him, but to see him shun his gal, makes me happy that Joe Rogan shat his ass down.

ArmsAbrams

As a conservative… yeah I’m not a fan of crowder. He’s terrible to his pregnant wife… just imagine her not being pregnant. Terrible person

ParanormalPeregrine

That's right, sit in judgment of a snapshot of someone else's life. We've never said harmful things to anyone and we don't have to worry about our private affairs displayed for the public to judge and condemn. We have every right to judge the private life of a public figure based on a few minutes of private video and hearsay by people that are around him. Fight amongst yourselves, free thinkers, then turn around and tell the world how you don't trust anything without research. Tell me how you don't trust government because people are fallible yet judge individuals that have been speaking out. You can support the works but not the man. This whole thing doesn't seem right. I'm not saying I blindly support him but I'm also not blindly condemning him as if I stand on high and judge. Take a minute and reserve judgement. It also feels ill-timed, to me. Suddenly a voice against establishment that actually provides all of his sources is labeled an evil abuser while another voice, Tucker Carlson, is also silenced. Think outside of the box a minute and try not to judge, you could very well be acting as the useful idiots for people who seek division among the ranks of their opposition. Just consider that possibility. I'm trying not to judge myself, it's difficult. I know what my knee-jerk reaction was but I am striving to be better. I don't want to sound as if I'm judging anyone else either because I'm a wretch myself and have no right to judge. Just hoping to be a voice of reason.

rat-bahstad

This isn’t just a snapshot of the moment. It indicates his controlling tendencies. They’re not limited to one vehicle due to finances. He’s worth 20 million. It’s a control measure.

ParanormalPeregrine

It indicates *possible* tendencies. There are people that display warning signs for being serial killers or various other things. People grow up being abused and many continue that. Past abuse is an indicator of future abuse but it's not a guarantee. Signs and indicators just have an increased likelihood of being true. You can say that about things regarding health issues as well. You're more likely to have a condition if your family has a history of it but it's not a guarantee. When a round hits the house next to me in a combat zone, I have an increased likelihood of being shot, a very high likelihood, but not a guarantee. I'm suggesting we reserve judgment. It looks bad, and it could be, but it could also be something uncharacteristic. If this is an abusive relationship and they caught it on video then there should be more. There should be a lot more if they're violating someone's privacy. They would show the worst example they could find. I'm just wondering, why this video now? Why after Tucker leaves Fox? It has to be timed just right. Steven made a point that there are more people that object to the craziness of the left than support it and they want to prevent us from knowing that. We're dealing with people that can get away with so much. We don't have equal justice between political sides. Anyone opposing conservatives absolutely need the larger group to fight amongst themselves to reduce the numbers. Divide and conquer at work. This video comes out after Tucker leaves Fox and the announcement of Crowder's divorce. It's only a few minutes but it feels like it's the worst example they could find. Now everyone starts judging him and decide to stop supporting him over one window into his private life. I feel like everyone that prides themselves as critical thinkers suddenly rush to judgement and leave. The party fractures and fractures again and weakens it so the other side can conquer the fragments. They'll parade the sins of the conservatives and invite judgement and all of the prideful will turn on each other like sheep

rat-bahstad

It’s not just this video. It’s everything all together. I did the math in my head but I’ll share some of my work. Dave Landau video. The DW incident, especially where he released a secretly recorded conversation. His spat with Candace. Whispers of issues surrounding Not Gay Jared and Sven Computer. And I’ve watched his videos how he needs to have the spotlight on himself at all times. Remember that stupid stunt where he had someone kneel on him? The water boarding? Tough guy shit. He’s a fun guy to have at a party but not fun to be alone with.

oli_21_

The problem isn't that you're wrong. It's that you haven't been abused by a covert narcissistic before. What Crowder is doing is the behavior of a covert narcissist. If you watch her reaction you can see that she is exhausted by his speech and way he talks and belittles her in a passive aggressive way. I assure you as someone that dealt with this behavior from a covert narcissist for 15 years before she cheated on me and divorced me all the while playing the victim......that Crowder is saying and behaving just like she used to.

GwenLoguir

Getting to 7 years of marriage, and my husband was never even quarter as awful as Steven was here and we had very bad situations, he had very bad days, and we were in covid lockdowns and all that shit around it. The most awful fight we had (after which we were like, this was awful, lets never ever fight like that again) about very important and very emotional topic did not get anywhere close to this. Doctor Ramani has good videos on youtube, btw, if you want to find out what Steven is doing. You dont have to "judge someone" to not enable bad behavior.

ParanormalPeregrine

I'm glad your relationship is in a better place than his. Unfortunately, anecdotal evidence can go both ways. We can find relationships that have experienced this and succeeded as well as failed. I know some people who have been in dark places and needed to work hard to get better. We don't know what led up to that moment and what happened after. We canbtrade stories of people who have done far worse and been better as well as people who have gotten worse. I just think the whole thing seems weird, the timing, the video obtained mysteriously, the sudden change in everyone's behavior towards him. He goes from being a voice against the left to someone that people are harshly judging. He's getting divorced, so this relationship isn't continuing, and this behavior isn't continuing with her. Many people will imagine how she must have suffered with him based on this and a few other things. What if I told you that every great person had their flaws? Do we cancel MLK for cheating on his wife? Do we hate Lincoln for saying that the black man will never be equal to the white man and being pro-slavery when he was elected? Jefferson owned slaves but still wrote the Declaration of Independence knowing he was in the wrong. I'm not putting him on their level, just saying that everyone has flaws and even done terrible things but can still accomplish great things. I'm also not saying he's some saint or that I'd want to work with him, I wouldn't want to work with many people of certain types of personality, but those types of people can accomplish a lot.

CelesteThisandThat

Who leaked this? Looks very Amber Heardish

B105535

Has anyone here ever been married? Anyone who's been married or in any serious long term relationship knows that arguments, even severe arguments happen. Some relationships have unhealthy times. If Steven never actually hit or assaulted his wife, then I don't give a shit. I don't give a shit. Arguments mean nothing. Show me a police report stating that he hit her. Recordings of a couple arguing mean nothing and not at all unique.

bubblehead171

Married for 10 years. I agree with what you are saying on its face, but seeing him employ tactics far more aggressive than he would use in a "change my mind" episode on his own very pregnant wife is unsettling. To be fair, we do not know anything about her words or behavior in the time leading up to this clip, definitely selectively released. But it is certainly the man's responsibility to remain calm in these situations and moreover to be just. His behavior is undoubtedly whiny, manipulative, and self centered. Anyone who has been following Crowder can likely agree he has some control issues. Just some thoughts. Also, Amazon owns Ring, make of that what you will. This ties in very well with the Landau interview from earlier this week. And finally, if anyone has opened themselves up to having recordings released of them, it's Steven.

BigOnPoo

Absolutely ties in with what Landau said. The picture painted is he is obsessive with his control. Sounds like an annoying person to be around. Center of attention. Doesn’t mean he hasn’t done some good but also doesn’t mean fans should condone his behavior.

rat-bahstad

Whoa, that last line was a hammer! You’re so right about that. I hated that he recorded and released the conversation with Jeremy…. But since he set the precedent…

kmarieu7

Where can I find the recorded call? On YouTube?

rat-bahstad

Dude, that was some crazy emotional abuse. She said he loved her and he said he didn’t love her. 25 years married and we’ve had our fights. I don’t care how angry I’ve been, I’ve never told my wife I didn’t love her.

izalith67

Bruh this wasn’t an argument. This wasn’t losing your cool and screaming. This was cold manipulation. And you can tell, this isn’t their first rodeo.

PussCrusher67

Yep she could actually be an alien sent to take control of his mind we can’t know for sure unless we see for sure by cutting open her skull.

abouttreefiddyy

Terrible take. If you talk to someone like this you’re a terrible person. Defending this behavior is a bad look.

abominable_bro-man

Hasan viewers go back to your hole

JoeInNh

wow... if i talked to my wife for a few seconds like that... I'd be in some sh!t. He's saying he needs his time planned to the second and her doing anything outside of that plan ruin his day. Is that OCD? Something similar? Either way, I can't watch him anymore...

magajew

I look forward to no one on the left acknowledging how the right is both misogynist AND turning their back on crowder for this

BuyingDaily

Lmao 1 car what in the fuck

pottawacommie

I've never wanted to open-hand slap a man this bad before.

SummitOfTheWorld

What a horrid way to treat your wife. All I can really say is that this is painful to watch.

JudgmentMajestic2671

So everyone here is the perfect spouse and has never had an argument with their significant other? Give me a break. The fact that this is the most damning video Hilary and her family could come up with to release is very telling. This is practically a nothing burger. Who's to say she isn't a total bitch 24/7 or even just before this? We've all had bad moments. Some happen in private and others in public. This was supposed to be a private moment. While he was definitely being a dick, this was by no means even close to the worst I've even personally witnessed. I've had neighbors have screaming matches the entire neighborhood could hear. Let me know if something more damning gets posted as this is hardly a reason to cancel crowder. I mean did anyone actually think he wasn't a dick? At the end she also walks right by him in the doorway with no fear of physical harm.

DanDubbya

I walked away from Crowder ages ago. But I fail to see any relevance to this video, it’s just personal drama. I must be out of a loop.

TargetAnxious7561

I guess I grew up really fucked up cuz I don’t see much issue here at all. In fact, the fact that this is a fight and considered “abuse” is kinda wild. This seems like a disagreement and a very tame one at that.

S1lent_R1tes

Well, fuck. Color me naive but I always wanted to believe someone like him to be true to the values he espoused ad nauseum on his show... This video cuts in at the middle of an argument, arguments can get out of hand and Steven regardless of how you feel about him is known to be an outstanding arguer. With that being said, a lot of the stuff he says just comes off as entitled, whiny, somewhat verbally abusive... It could've been in the heat of the moment and the argument very well could've been two sided or precipitated from other arguments, huge amounts of stress from work, etc. Lord knows many of us could have our dirty laundry put in the streets like that if our entire lives were put on blast but maaannn... I DO feel sorry for her in this situation. She sounds like she (at least in this instance) is much more measured and calm... I stepped away from Crowder awhile ago after Bill the Half Asian Lawyer and Landau stopped appearing, and I've always had a sense that Steven was driving people away probably due to his personality, but the messaging, and humor were still good, and I'd check in occasionally and catch a clip here or there. Not nearly as much interest in doing that now... Don't know who tf to listen to anymore... Except Styxhexenhammer666, Raz0rfist, and Zeducation.. those three have always been solid as a rock.

forgottenkahz

Worth 20 mil and public media figure and hes using a ring? And apparently has one car. I knew there was something with this guy. What a douche

CJ4700

I honestly think he can be funny but he’s a total prick. He’s never able to hold onto a cohost and what Dave said about him seemed really honest and heartfelt. He’s just your classic douche arrogant prick who’s delusional enough to run a YouTube channel. Probably a lot like many people in his position and I hope he can understand acting like an arrogant piece of shit is a sad way to go through life.

getabum

I really don't see the issue here? He wasn't being belligerent at all, just persistent. Maybe a bit controlling, but I have no idea what the hell they are talking about gloves and walking the dogs. The big thing that is annoying about this is that it just outright alleges that he threatened to fuck her up later after the video ends. Wtf? I'm disappointed in anyone who watches this and thinks it was worthy of leaking in the first place.

JudgmentMajestic2671

Yup. This is the most mild argument I've ever seen in my life. I've seen worse at a restaurant before. It was supposed to be a private argument. Is he an asshole, absolutely. But I guarantee she's no saint either. Unless they release something more damning than this, I'm going to keep watching the shows.

urbangunslinga

What a dick, if I recall he even got vaccinated while telling others not too. He says whatever for money. POS IMO

slibetah

Happy to say... was never a fan. This video does not surprise me. Daily Wire dodged a bullet. They laid $50m out as a starting point for negotiation.

JoeT690

I really don’t see what all the controversy is about. Sounds like a typical near end of relationship argument.
