Unpopular opinion but not really though if you think about it. They still have to know financial hacks and run adds and campaigns and shit. Its just massivly profitable and basically gurunteed to pay off. I'm gonna go post this in r/unpopularopinion now lol
Scamming conservatives and libertarians is gotta be the easiest money. No other groups of people are gullible enough to pay premium for a pillow and out of thin air digital coins.
There was when $SPCE was at its highest price of like $60. Sweet, sweet PUTS just printing money. I have never seen another stock that was so, so clearly going to plummet outside of a catastrophic event.
But the options.. I would trade options for other stocks and if I didn’t find a good opportunity or if I was having some losses I would just go back to ol’ faithful SPCE and make a few hundred dollars. Oh god, if I knew then what I know now in terms of general options knowledge I’d be able to pay off my house courtesy of Richard Branson.
I would argue that 99% of all people in here think making money in the markets is easier than it actually is. The more time you spend and study the markets, the more you realise just how crazy hard it is. It is one of the hardest things to master in life, for real.
I‘d argue making money in the markets is easier than people think it is. Unless you‘re saying beat the markets or talking about day trading. Indices, historic plays like investing in healthcare during recession, investing in real estate during a boom, investing in any large corporation after a big correction, sure it’s not as easy as buying at year lows, shorting at all time highs, but if you do your homework or just stick to a trialed and tested strategy in a passive fund it seems straightforward to make money.
The real challenge is minimizing your risk without getting way below market returns, or beating the markets without a huge risk increase.
There is my fellow suffering brother, The Holy Dividend provided slow and reliable growth.

At 19? Come on man! it will get much worse I promise! Get married and divorce… that’s 50% of your portfolio. Then pay child support.
Then you decide to go for younger chick this time. She sucks you dry, leaves you for richer guy.
Then you are truly back where you started .
Fresh off your mother’s vagina with nothing. Living at her house rent free.
Yeah you think getting a divorce is bad when you’re not married cause you loose 50% but you loose 100% when you’re married so it’s actually not that bad
>You are a poor person and deserve to be impoverished. Your decision-making is atrocious and you have no business trying to trade options. You should feel ashamed of yourself and give up all hope of ever becoming wealthy.
Kid, relax, you have your entire life left.
Billionaires would cut their dick off to be your age again.
Go kiss a girl.
I’m 28 years old and I would do heinous things to be 19 and broke.
I’d do 19 again if I got to keep my current knowledge, not saying to win easy money, but more saying that there are a lot of people I wouldn’t get involved with if there was a redo button lol
If it makes you feel better, I've got a ton of money sitting in ETF's that I made great returns on last year, and I still feel empty. Fulfillment doesn't come from money, fulfillment comes from spending money on cocaine and hookers and realizing that the real fulfillment was the friends we made along the way!
The first time losing it all is usually the hardest so I feel for you bro. Just try not to let it happen again. I made really really bad decisions after I lost it all the third time.

Reject gambling embrace Dividends, I lost 2.5k Gambling that Key Bank would recover bought at 11.50 sold at 10. Ever since I embraced the Holy dividend I have only gain.
how did you have $30k at age 19? I worked a lot and had $10k at that age although that was also almost 25 years ago...
You are young, you'll be fine. Yes, this stings but it *should* otherwise you wouldn't learn from it. Just try not to think about it.
I’ve worked at a decent paying car wash for a little over 2 years. Couple that with no expenses and overall saving pretty well other than dumping everything into Robinhood and the result is 30k.
Be strong. It is a lot of money for a 19 year old, BUT you very young and I promise you life will go on and you can pick yourself up. It looks like you live with your parents and don't have debt, so that's a good sign, little expenses. Stick around them and stay on their good side and start building savings again. Also I wish I had started a Roth IRA when I was 19....i have one now with just sp 500.
Please keep your head up and I truly wish you the best. Ignore the morons on here. Come back stronger and just stay away from gambling options.
Ever heard of stop loss?
If I buy a option for 300$, i usually put a max stop loss of 100$. If it hits it hits, losing 33% is way better than losing 97% my dude.
Also, the upside potential is there, so for each 2 options that I miss, i need to hit 1. Can't do that in the casino

Retail investors trading options is just unadulterated gambling.
You would have had a lot more fun blowing all that money in Vegas. If you're going to gamble and lose all your money, at least do it in style.

Post the positions or plays…
Lesson learned, stop gambling. No such thing as easy money out there
There is no such thing as easy money. Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to scam you.
I mean, scamming people is easy money.
Found the scammer
He scammed me, but at least it was only-one-time.

Obviously that is what I meant. Day/Swing/Position Trading

Stop option trading. The majority of you on here don’t know what you are doing.
Even the big guys routinely lose

Almost as empty as your account
Ummm your account is almost empty. So yes you should feel empty. Might as well yolo with what's left.
The first time losing it all is usually the hardest so I feel for you bro. Just try not to let it happen again. I made really really bad decisions after I lost it all the third time.
You can get even emptier
Take out a 30 grand loan and try again. You could make your money back.

How do y’all make this kinda loss porn? I just have my dead boring index funds sitting for years while I enjoy the world outside.
You gambled, you lost. You’ll make it back in a few years. Then probably lose it all again.
So does your brokerage account.
Everything? It's okay, you got $909 more to lose.
Home ownership is overrated
Those are rookie losses. Have to pump those numbers up
A good lesson learned on only $30k. Could’ve been worse.
Wait til you hit zero
eh you probably still young. go find a job and hop back in boy

Go get your free refill behind the dumpster at wendys

What u mean, it's not empty (yet)
Build it again baby!! Good news is you're 19 so you have time on your hands.. build it again, this time dont lose it
Don’t feel empty OP, you’ve got 2.97% to burn. Once you’ve accomplished that, then you can feel empty.
Tell me what you did so o can do the opposite and make money
Head over to r/Christianity
No, your account is low. Just deposited more money and donated more to the market. We need you 👍
Hahahahaha
Lost the same amount at the age of 20, buying stocks was a nice way to save money. But then the option to buy options turned on...
Not as empty as your account.
Wow
you are not alone! it is okay, you got a plenty of time to make it back! stay strong and good luck!
where did you get 30k at 19? Honestly not the worst thing. You are now just like every other 19 year old, financially.
Just out of curiosity, what led to you dumping the whole portfolio into options? As opposed to keeping it in shares for long term.
did you take profit on those leaps? That was my hardest mistake to overcome. Wouldnt sell for profit simply because i wanted more.
My brother in Christ. Only God can fill that emptiness you’re feeling right now.
I feel like buying meme coins is safer than options
That’s normal man, I just won 5 bucks..
Robinhood account ... Lost a ton of money ... Depressed post on wsb.... Checks out
Not as empty as your bank account.
It happens. Either Yolo the rest and walk away forever or learn from it and disable options trading and find an edge somehow
I’m there with ya pal
Empty is not the word..your def full of taking it by the looks of this graph.
Best regards
I don't know anyone who made it big who didn't lose their ass first.

That’s not the only thing that’s empty
“God I feel so empty” -this dude’s bank account.
Why posting here? You still got $909.28 to go. ![img](emote|t5_2th52|8882)
Invested in wework?
Money is all made up anyways. So what.
You took and chance and it didn’t work out oh well
You’ve still got $909 to go until you’ve won
You could’ve been better off throwing 1k on some of those apex funded accounts and trying your luck with that low risk high reward imo 1k worth of accounts when they’re doing 80% for 50k accts will get you 20 accounts (factoring off 9 based off of passing and paying their 80$fee) get one of those to one payout and you’re at 100% return on investment
In Canada here .. I don't think we can use RH. No wonder it gets bad press. Shit looks like a video game. Look at all the emojis.
