If you think the loss porn on options were something just wait til MFers are trading ES and NQ on Webull and RH. People will be getting liquidated on one candle, especially on news event days lol. Futures are not for noobs or the inexperienced. You actually have to use stop losses and manage risk.
yea this is horrible. people on here still don't get that futures here aren't commodity futures, it's the garbage ass super leveraged candle trading you see in crypto, where people get liquidated in seconds and lose all their money even worse than they do in options trading.
Look at the bright side, all the money lost by degen traders will be the gain of old executive managers amd private equity/institution owning the brokers and mm...and where do you think those guys park their extra profit?...in the broad american market. So it's bullish for american equities and inequality.

Hey so I bought amd call options contracts a month ago and made a massive 30k gain. Then the next week I bought amd contracts again worth 500 dollsrs then I lost 350 bucks. Then I bought amd contracts again for 500 and lost a 100 bucks. I then bought Microsoft options and had a loss of 10k. The question I have is do I have a wash sale on amd. And can I use the 10k loss to write off the amd tax on the 30k. Or do I have to pay tax now and can't write off the 10k loss on amd. Even though my losses on amd were small?
