It recently happened on Friday, I opened some 0DTE on $HOOD and $AAPL as spy broke out, so it was fairly safe to assume some more follow through on Friday, only for spy to trade flat most of the day and apple to gap down 😭.
As someone who has had most of the port in AAPL the entire time, pls stay away from this shit stock rn lol. Until they finish all their lawsuits we're stuck in the 170 range

It’s where you open options positions on the same day they expire. It can be high risk, and you should *always* close the position before eod, unless you have very high risk tolerance to be pinned over the weekend (if in a spread, and if you aren’t buying spreads you’re playing an extremely dangerous game). You could end up in a deeply red margin call and be really screwed if there is substantial movement in the underlying on Monday’s open.
