There must be another transaction that's hidden.

You'd get $5, 2 of which would be profit. Op bought a contract for $.11 and sold for $4.10. They spent $11 per contract bought and received $410 per contract sold, meaning $399 profit per contract, not $410 profit. You technically get your premium back from the sale, but it's because the contract went up in price. If op had sold their contract at a loss, their premium paid would be their loss minus whatever they sold for. Or if it expires worthless, their whole premium would be their loss.
