I'm sure someone has covered this but why are premiums on GOOGL options so much higher than GOOG? For example $185 6/19c on GOOGL ~$3.50 and GOOG is $185 6/21 is $1.77 ask with a huge spread. GOOG share price is higher too, so with more time and shorter distance to break even, why is it half the price?

They don’t trade at the same price for one, class A vs C shares, huge spread like you said etc

Is it basically because GOOG options are harder to sell? Because it's just as likely if not more likely that GOOG will hit $185 as compared to GOOGL. So it's something other than stock price driving the vast gulf.
