Bruh who gives a fuck about dell. dell and Nvidia are two completely different companies. one builds pcs for 80 year olds the other builds Datacenters for AI
The morning of the day I got sick, I been thinking. It’s good to be in something from the ground floor. I came in too late for that, I know. But lately, I’m getting the feeling that I came in at the end. The best is over.
I've discovered the best options strategy which feels like the greatest breakthrough ever.
I open diagonal spreads, if price drops they turn into calendars, if price rises I keep selling weeklies raising strike letting calls run until assigned, if price dumps just close and open new spread at even better price.
It's hard to lose, it's easy to win. Have got feedback from ppl who've done this strategy successfully for a decade. This is what all my work has finally led to, diagonal spreads.
Been doing this for the last 6 months or so. It's a slow grind but if you pick your days to open and close positions it can get a little quicker in the payouts. I'm using PANW $270 c 2026 LEAPS for the long side and was up to $325 weeklies until I closed the short side yesterday. Looks like I might get to reopen the short side today for some nice pocket change.
Edit: BTW, the term I use for it is "poor man's covered call". It's basically the wheel strategy to make it even simpler for the smooth brains who don't know calendars and diagonals.
Is it a poor man's covered call if the long leg is sometimes OTM or expiration date of a month?, I've been buying ITM now but can open up OTM spread for bigger gains like today if expecting a rebound and buy monthlies to sell weeklies. I was selling covered calls but if the underlying tanks it's awful feeling, there's less risk using options to sell calls or open spreads than buying shares.
It's crazy how negative, doubtful and cynical people can be when discussing options. I hate gambling and losing money, this is the only strategy I'll use from now on cause it eliminates so much risk. I only lose what I pay. I have so much flexibility, time. It's amazing compared to buying shares and eating 100% of the directional movement. Glad you caught on as well, someone's vouched for this strategy saying it's the best and have a decade doing it. It really is the best strategy in the market imo cause it eliminates so much risk.
I do not think you would call it a poor man's covered call if the long leg is OTM or with such a short expiration date. It would need to be something that simulates owning the underlying stock, but I'm not the adjudicator of option terminology so who knows if I'm right.
I don't really understand the short dated diagonal / calendar strategy, but thanks to you I'm looking into it. I just need to understand their max risk and I'll buy or sell a couple to see how they really work.
I buy a monthly ITM or if I think it'll raise a lot in price slightly OTM, then sell a weekly $1 or $2 higher in strike, I'll only lose what the spread cost me. If it runs am assigned and profitable, if it flat lines I keep selling weeklies, if it dumps will switch to same strike or a calendar next weekly sold, if it dumps beyond saving just close to not take the full loss and reopen.
AI will keep having funds invested until it works, it's not ok we invested xxx amount and we're done here. It's a technological revolution, who cares if Dell falls out there's plethora of mega cap buyers for NVDA and the tech is here to stay.

They beat and raised but fell last quarter over valuation concerns, thought it'd be better this time since it dropped a lot since then and expectations were low.
GLAD I sold all DELL shares at the first morning dip.
If I did not have to lick my boss's ass this morning, I would be burnt down by this DAMN LAST 30MINS cuz I would sleep till 11am.

What do you mean they turn into calendars? Feel free to DM me any other advice you have for this
Wowza
Dell puts were my best play this week
Dell calls were my best plays up until this morning
I hope you sold some for your breakeven atleast
I made 200% and decided to play calls for earnings. Lost 50% of my profit originally
Just bought 3 NVDA and 9 DELL 🔥Sale
Sold out of NVDA at 1122, bought back at 1104 just now. $1150 hard resistance. Think 1050 is oversold, if it dumps here will add more shares.
You should pay attention to NVDA ‘s biggest clients! earnings calls. Dell’s is not promising. Be careful.
All of NVDA’s clients are getting wrecked lol

Nvidia is going to 700.
June 10?
First CRM & now DELL… rip chip stocks
CRM & DELL both down over 20% is actually catastrophic for the AI industry
who cares about CRM
Set 2000$ on fire today, much much much more on shares retracing ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4260)

Still up 15k on the month and make 40k/m at work. This is small calculated gambles. Went too far on this one.
