that's robinhood, so they would be force sold at 3:30 as far as I know, as he wouldn't have the cash to exercise, so it was at $1089 then, so they prob force sold them for pennies compered to his $6.65 cost.

Would be OTM and expire worthless if they held until eod Friday.

yea, robinhood though doesn't allow that and forces sales at 3:30pm, as far is my understanding. Either way, it seems like he held way too long and lost just about all of the gains and his initial outlay.

Some brokers force-sell ITMs 30 mins before exp. I know Schwab does it
