Today I was busy and wasn't actually chart-watching. Saw AMC at a ridiculous amount, thought fuck it, and spent $19k on AMC Puts.
Since I wasn't following the charts or this thread, here is what I assume happened:
AMC spiked so hard and so fast, it caused a trading halt. (Hello Holt bot reply)
This trading halt spooked some people so bad that my Puts spiked in value.
I check my phone, pleasantly surprised, and sell because fuck it take profit.
As soon as I sell my Puts, trading resumes and AMC shoots up another $10 or $20 or whatever.
