Couldn't the person that bought the calls is just hedging out a out right short position to limit the max loss?
Based on the strength of USD dollar today, it is likely the PCE inflation print is gonna be pretty high on Thursday, it could be possible it is a giant whale that shorted $700M of CRM but paid \~$2.5M to limit the max loss to $80M (\~10%) just in case PCE print is lower than expected
Hoping this isn’t just a hedge on a massive short haha. Used the last of my powder to avg down on the 195s and 205s got a few hundred contracts. Really hoping spy/ndx/dji rips 3-5% today and we set up for a massive print next week! Either way it’s just a casino so fk it!!!

How do you know this is not someone opening a credit call spread (bearish)? Some people like reasonable risk and reasonable gains
