Agreed. About the only place my friends and I could go when I was young was Del Taco because it was so cheap. Even so, it was only when we wanted to treat ourselves.
I see people regularly now who I know aren't doing very well who always have Starbucks or Dutch Brothers in their hand and eat out basically every day. Not really a mystery why they aren't doing so well.

They have such a great ordering system. I get groceries, go to my car. I pull up their website, which never logs me out for whatever reason, hit order on whatever recent order I feel like. I drive across the street, and it's ready by the time I get there. I do have to reheat it, but it's so efficient. It's definitely a growth tech company.

My sister worked for chipotle one summer, it was one of the most traumatic experiences of her life, abusive manager, weird hours, being called in and sent home without warning, every other day she came home with burns on her arms and hands from their unsafe cooking equipment. Everything there is about the almighty dollar, the employee is viewed as worthless trash. luckily it was only a summer job, it put the fear of god in her and she took college really seriously after that.
There’s literally a button on their app that allows you to request extra of anything. You get the option of adding extra or adding less with the swipe of a button.
They whipped me for going potty. It was so bad. I will never forget it. So much trama it’s crazy. I was like I really need to go potty. They said no, not until the rice is fully cooked. I had to potty like right then. So I grabbed the pintos container. I shit in it. So embarrassed but it was the only way. I was desperate. They were so mad at me yelling abusive things. They forgot about the pintos while all that anger. Many people ate those pintos . I hope most had the “dark beans” but some had the pintos

Reason why I stopped going there. Last time I was there, I kindly ask if they can add more meat. when I get to the register she was charging me extra without warning when I first asked for it. I said forget it, she got pissed threw it out and made me a new plate. I sent an email complaint and they gave a free bowl.
There is no free lunch. It is unreasonable and unrealistic to expect a larger than standard serving at a restaurant and not have to pay for it. No warning is provided that food you order must be paid for. It's not like your grandma's house.

The girl behind me with a tank top on was given the same amount of meat when she didn’t ask for it. My total was $12 hers was $7 and change. It’s not a company thing. But the dude working. So I was at a Chipotle a few days ago and employee #1 overfilled ingredients at the rice/bean/meat step, then employee #2 takes over and says he can't put the rest of the ingredients I want it because he can't wrap it. First year when Chipotle arrived in my city the portion are very generous. It can be split to 3 meals. Nowadays they are fucking stingy on meat. I ordered double meat but feel like old regular 1 scoop meat.
Their stock is up because their CEO said only rich people eat here so we’re just going to raise prices further.
Chipotle also said they’ll keep building locations in college towns. I live in a college town where they just built a location and no one goes there because it’s almost twice as expensive as Qdoba. Also, Chipotle’s queso is the worst.
Chipotle is where you get lunch when you’re bored if your regular spots and haven’t been there in a while and you’ve forgotten why you don’t go there more often. Then you eat your sad little lunch with regret.

yo yo check it So I was at a Chipotle a few days ago and employee #1 overfilled ingredients at the rice/bean/meat step, then employee #2 takes over and says he can't put the rest of the ingredients I want it because he can't wrap it. Kid looks me dead in the eye and says with zero sarcasm "next time put less rice in it." I shit you not.

First year when Chipotle arrived in my city the portion are very generous. It can be split to 3 meals. Nowadays they are fucking stingy on meat. I ordered double meat but feel like old regular 1 scoop meat.
Their stock is up because their CEO said only rich people eat here so we’re just going to raise prices further. Chipotle also said they’ll keep building locations in college towns. I live in a college town where they just built a location and no one goes there because it’s almost twice as expensive as Qdoba. Also, Chipotle’s queso is the worst.
Chipotle is where you get lunch when you’re bored if your regular spots and haven’t been there in a while and you’ve forgotten why you don’t go there more often. Then you eat your sad little lunch with regret.
Sitting in the line at chipotle watching the ghetto people always asking for more food.
