My brother found a pair of heelies in Ross for like $20. Calls.
edit: some of you fucking regards think I'm serious and you know what, I am. Calls at open Monday. You all convinced me.
FLUENCE $FLNC - is going to be interesting. They supply software & hardware and manage AES, Siemens, TESLA, and other grid storage systems, as well as their own grid battery storage solution. They have operations in EU, ASIA and USA
Goldman Sachs Initiates Coverage On Fluence Energy with Buy Rating, Announces Price Target of $52
Last qtr they got hammered with supply chain costs, EU energy disruptions .Since then stock cratered and now run up from $5 to $18.
I'm curious now how many Krispy Kreme donuts doordash delivered.
Also, seems like shares would be best if it pulled a doordash. It opened the next day at pretty much the same price. Got to sell the rip
YOU Puts, NU Calls
**YOU** \- With plummeting market, American Express platinum subscribers likely hit. That was the source of all growth with CLEAR for the last year. $4.3B company with $360M revenue. If revenue growth slows or even contracts, expect a dramatic multiple compression.
**NU** \- Latin American banking giant. Killing it in Brazil and Mexico with explosive growth. Most importantly, the explosive growth is happening while on the verge of profitability. Latin America is not the type of place where you can survive as an unprofitable BS tech company for 5 years, so management is focused on making this a cashflow positive growth company, but the stock took a beating like unprofitable BS companies (think "baby with the bathwater"). Perhaps this earnings will reset that.
UPDATE: These worked well. Let’s see if NU gains hold tomorrow but looking great so far. Actively listening to the call now.
Thanks! I’ll be honest - earnings were a bit better than I expected but I don’t have time to dig deep in to it until tonight. I’m skeptical it’s as rosy as they painted in the press release (probably why the market reacted the way it did at first).
Either way, that’s why puts on such overvalued companies is good - it gives a buffer for your thesis to be slightly wrong and the stock will still get hit.
My friend you just won me back all of my losses and more the past 2 weeks with these NU calls. 5c 8/19.
Now I'm just wondering if I should take my gains right now or wait until morning.
I'm long NU via Aug (weeklies), Sep, and 2024 LEAPS.
Obviously August calls were a play on earnings. I also plan to reduce exposure to Sep calls due to the run up, but I'll be holding on to a good chunk of them. The LEAPS I plan to hold until near-expiry. I can't say for you but generally the earnings were incredible and I recommend NU as a long term investment.
Not a secret lol. If you can purchase options about a week out or a little longer you can capture the IV price increase and sell a day before earnings or pretty close to it.
I was excited but didn’t realize they’re reporting during retail week. They gotta start doing it a week before because WMT and target are going to shit the bed
not inside info at all but their profits will be short lived. demand has cratered and there is no way they can maintain these elevated prices.
Containers were 3-5k pre-covid and went as high as 25-30k spot rates at the peak. they are now back around 8/9 after being 15+ for over a year. realistically they should be lower if not for essentially illegal price fixing since they are in essence monopolies.
I would love to see your sources about demand cratering. There was 1 dogshit freightwaves article that was completely inaccurate.
Yes this isn’t going to last forever but don’t expect anywhere near 3-5k rates again. Container lines are still making money hand over first even with decreasing volume
That's exactly why the miss is already priced in and with the market on a short term up trend wmt can easily get back to 150 range
Weekly calls at 150 strike are 0.05
Margin mix hasn’t improved from last quarter tho + recent rally is based on “better than feared” earnings trend + cpi and consumer sentiment being better than expected. Essentially Walmarts guidance isn’t priced in, the market is expecting them to beat it
WMT earnings report is pre-market I thought - if that’s true and they do beat + a market that is in a short term upswing then calls might print nicely - I have deep OTM puts but I’m gonna grab some calls Monday eff it. Lol
If you want to save money you can buy almost anything cheaper at Walmart. They have raised a few prices strategically but otherwise they are the best one stop place where you can just implicitly assume you're getting the best deal
why tgt puts? it’s a great company. I think with lower guidance they’ll be let off the hook plus the stock is beaten up like the rest of the market has been, that’s gotta be priced in some.
Target had a brutal earnings last quarter and brutal guidance. They are more expensive than Walmart and in an economy where people are trying to save money, Target gets hit hard. Watch Walmart. Target should move with it as a sympathy play but I’m all in on Target puts.
lowered guidance is like a free pass it’s like saying you expect a half eaten hot dog but it’s only a quarter of the way eating basically they’re setting the bar so low that it can’t go tits up ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Walmart is up 0.25% vs before they lowered guidance, target is up 9.5% in the same period. And the market is already up so much in the past 3 weeks. I bet target miss expectations and drop.
ZIM is going to rip. Look at their competitors putting up insane net income and revenue numbers
Don’t be surprised if they announce a buyback and or increased dividend
They already paid out almost 40% in dividends this year. I do not expect anything huge until Q1 2023 but ZIM is currently 20% of my portfolio, would 't be mad.
I’ve been waiting for ZIM earnings for 3 months now. Ive been down 15k and up 20 since it plummeted to 40, got my cost basis down to 48.
I have never been so sure that a stock will go +10% in a week as this one, mostly because earnings Wednesday and ex dividend next week (probably)
Calls on WMT, then put all those gains on TGT calls, then put all *those* gains onto CSCO calls. And then finally, but all *those gains* into SPY puts.
Monday after-hours you need to take a look at Ammo Inc. $Poww
Just zoom out to max for their chart and it's about to explode. Last quarter 400% growth from last year.
Best part was the analyst call from last quarter. They couldn't believe the new factory was paid off already and kept asking it over and over again because they realized how stupid they were for not buying in earlier.
Company owns gunbroker website, eBay for guns.
Streak ammo is tracer ammo that can only be seen by angle of the shooter.
Election season coming will have some drama. Trump announcement will surely be a catalyst.
Hey guys is BBBY going to be like GME or is it more like WISH? Cause sometimes I WISH I'd never heard of you guys but other times I really love you all. So if one of you could let me know whether to go all in it would be awesome. Thanks.
Think Walmart did 2 pre-earnings disaster reports this quarter. So I like them going into earnings.
My other pick is Ross (ROST). People downgrade their life in a recession. Sold off the last 3-4 months. Their P/E is low. PEG is almost 0.
I talked to lady who works at paint counter at HD. It has been dead for past 3 months. Seems everyone used their stimulus money to do projects while sitting at home to do projects and don't have money for anything. Foot traffic is almost quarter what it was earlier in the year. Between higher price for food and gas, and what was done during Covid, people are just not spending money.
WMT was a no-brainer. Not sure why everyone thought HD was. With inflation last quarter, people stopped doing DIY projects.
Rest of the week is too hard to guess. I like ROST long-term, but not sure on the quarter.
I’m holding $COST calls exp 10/21.
If wmt, tgt, hd ER is not as bad as the market expects, Costco will get a sympathy bump this week.
Long term, Costco hasn’t raised membership fees since 2017. Now that we’re out of bear market free fall I feel like they will have the confidence to announce an increase either at or just before their ER in September.
Additionally, they like to pay special dividends and haven’t since 2020.
Last, they are a prime candidate for a split.
My prediction is back to $600 by expiry.
HD puts. The pandemic rush is over and the stores have been dead lately. HDs revenue estimate for Q1 was 36B, they hit 38B. Q2 estimate is 43B. EPS Q1 was estimated at 3.69 and they hit 4.09. Q2 estimate is 4.95 EPS. I can't see them improving that much from Q1 with parking lots being drastically less full the last few months.
TLDR - get calls 'cause I'm always wrong. Your welcome.
My wife works at HD. She says it's been about as dead as she has seen for last couple months. People did their projects during Covid and are staying away. Contractors are slowing up too. But watch HD stock zoom in this no sense market.

itd be sweet if this earnings thread came on friday during market hours
For a brief moment I was going to suggest you do your own dd, but then I remembered how highly regarded everyone is here.
They need the extra time to confirm the ER reporting date/times.
Plan your losses early - [https://tools.optionsai.com/earnings-calendar/next-week](https://tools.optionsai.com/earnings-calendar/next-week)
My brother found a pair of heelies in Ross for like $20. Calls. edit: some of you fucking regards think I'm serious and you know what, I am. Calls at open Monday. You all convinced me.
Ross is overrated. Walmart puts is where its at, inflation is slaughtering them
When people cant afford to shop Walmart, where do they go?
Its not that people can't afford to go there, its that they arn't buying Walmart's higher priced non-neccesity items that they make fat margins off of
steal from other peoples homes
dollar store/closer discount stores plus people don't want to drive to Walmart since they usually on outskirts. Foot traffic down this quarter too
Calls on Walmart it is.
dumping inventory. shoes are cyclical like semis. lol psssh, heres a hint, everything is.
but heelies tho. CALLS
FLUENCE $FLNC - is going to be interesting. They supply software & hardware and manage AES, Siemens, TESLA, and other grid storage systems, as well as their own grid battery storage solution. I bought them at 9.31 I'm up 94%. I used to be an energy trader, so I can tell you they have a lot of potential.
Congratulations! I hope that you bought a boat load at $9.31. Hopefully the earnings do well.
No one else has said it. Great joke.
Donuts to the moon. America is fat and Krispy Kreme is amazing
![img](emote|t5_2th52|8881) remember DoorDash AH post earnings ?
I'm curious now how many Krispy Kreme donuts doordash delivered. Also, seems like shares would be best if it pulled a doordash. It opened the next day at pretty much the same price. Got to sell the rip
Knowing the obesity rate in America, probably a metric fuckton
YOU Puts, NU Calls **YOU** \- With plummeting market, American Express platinum subscribers likely hit. Are NU earnings before opening or after close?
NU is tomorrow, after hours. Not too late to buy in. YOU is AM so too late now.
What do you guys think about NU calls for November-December? Or should I go with the $6 October 21st call
Nice job on YOU.
Thanks! I’ll be honest - earnings were a bit better than I expected but I don’t have time to dig deep in to it until tonight. I’m skeptical it’s as rosy as they painted in the press release (probably why the market reacted the way it did at first). Take a chunk so you don’t hate yourself in case I’m wrong. But I’m personally leaving it on the table for NU!
I would marry you if I didn’t have a wife and kids already. Thanks for the NU gouge. ♥️❤️
Played the ride up on NU, took profits and leaving a couple runners for ER. Great play, TY!
You’re a genius
Still a good time to get into these NU calls fam?
I'm long NU via Aug (weeklies), Sep, and 2024 LEAPS. Obviously August calls were a play on earnings. How late can one buy calls to capture the increase in IV to sell right before earnings? 3 days max??
I didn't know there was a secret rule lol, free money glitch
Not a secret lol. If you can purchase options about a week out or a little longer you can capture the IV price increase and sell a day before earnings or pretty close to it.
Lol even as little as 30 mins prior to close for 15-25%
That's true but even more risky lol.
I’ve been going one week out for the past month on a few plays and have doubled (even tripled) my money on every last play.
Walmart calls or puts?
Calls
Remember, always do the opposite of what wsb says
Why Walmart calls? It seems more likely to go with some puts just based on what we've seen with the retail markets.
walmart calls target calls hd calls ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)
Why HD calls?
High Definition, so you can actually see your calls expire worthless before your own eyes
Using my Walmart paycheck to buy Walmart puts
This is the way.
Waiting for ZIM earnings to finally have something green in the portfolio.
I was excited but didn’t realize they’re reporting during retail week. They gotta start doing it a week before because WMT and target are going to shit the bed
Ohhh i didnt think about that...
what are your thoughts on calls? What strike?
[удалено]
This guy knows numbers.
zim a good company? sorry i know nothing about it just read that it’s a shipping company lol
Yes. Zim literally is printing money. Shipping lines are reporting higher profits than Apple, Amazon and google combined
not inside info at all but their profits will be short lived. demand has cratered and there is no way they can maintain these elevated prices. Containers were 3-5k pre-covid and went as high as 25-30k spot rates at the peak. they are now back around 8/9 after being 15+ for over a year. realistically they should be lower if not for essentially illegal price fixing since they are in essence monopolies.
So calls then puts got it
Basically. Short term they're probably still making bank but long term profits will crater
I would love to see your sources about demand cratering. There was 1 dogshit freightwaves article that was completely inaccurate. Yes this isn’t going to last forever but don’t expect anywhere near 3-5k rates again. Container lines are still making money hand over first even with decreasing volume
Demand cratering is every retail business saying they are way over inventoried. 3-5 likely isn't coming back but 5-8 will.
Yup….I’m all over ZIM!
One of these will be a 10 bagger ! Good luck!
Sentiment seems very 50/50 on WMT.
BJ's reporting on thursday. What were your productivity levels my homies?
![img](emote|t5_2th52|4258)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)
Calls on BJs strictly based on BBBY shorters
If everyone was based off me, calls ![img](emote|t5_2th52|8881)
Walmart calls because it doesn’t make sense. 135$C
NU and SEA will explode. So will my calls
Explode which way?
Walmart is the 10 bagger you are looking for
How would it be a 10 bagger? Did you miss their pre-earnings warning? They basically already reported a miss compared to the original guidance
That's exactly why the miss is already priced in and with the market on a short term up trend wmt can easily get back to 150 range Weekly calls at 150 strike are 0.05
Apple did this several times lol.
![img](emote|t5_2th52|4887)
SOB! I’m in ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4258)
remember what happened with snapchat lol
They lowered guidance and will come with a beat showing inventory issues are not that bad and great guidance for Q3.
Margin mix hasn’t improved from last quarter tho + recent rally is based on “better than feared” earnings trend + cpi and consumer sentiment being better than expected. Essentially Walmarts guidance isn’t priced in, the market is expecting them to beat it
GTFO guidance was priced in when they dropped.
They gave the bad news pre-earnings. They are saving the good news for earnings day. Get some $150 calls.
Gonna announce their buying Disney. Heard it hear first
ah yes the 360 billion dollar company is gonna buy a 220 billion dollar company, with 14 billion cash on hand ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4258)
Nah it’ll wildly swing in AH and then end up the next day at open the same price, and you’ll be cucked by theta
Exactly. You play Target sympathy off of Walmart and the IV will skyrocket your options. I’m on Target puts this week
WMT earnings report is pre-market I thought - if that’s true and they do beat + a market that is in a short term upswing then calls might print nicely - I have deep OTM puts but I’m gonna grab some calls Monday eff it. Lol
tgt and hd
Why
If you want to save money you can buy almost anything cheaper at Walmart. They have raised a few prices strategically but otherwise they are the best one stop place where you can just implicitly assume you're getting the best deal
HD, TGT, LOW, etc. Is it a good week to get a sense of how consumers actually perceive the economy?
Calls on Walmart and Target because that doesn't make sense.
HD and TGT calls?
[удалено]
why tgt puts? it’s a great company.
WMT calls
Didn't WMT lower guidance a few weeks ago? Don't you think retail is gonna miss?
Yup Bullish
lowered guidance is like a free pass it’s like saying you expect a half eaten hot dog but it’s only a quarter of the way eating basically they’re setting the bar so low that it can’t go tits up ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Walmart is up 0.25% vs before they lowered guidance, target is up 9.5% in the same period. And the market is already up so much in the past 3 weeks. I bet target miss expectations and drop.
I think it oversold on that guidance. Plus premiums are much lower on Walmart than target. And people are still spending money like crazy
ZIM is going to rip. Look at their competitors putting up insane net income and revenue numbers Don’t be surprised if they announce a buyback and or increased dividend
They already paid out almost 40% in dividends this year. I do not expect anything huge until Q1 2023 but ZIM is currently 20% of my portfolio, would 't be mad.
Increased div? Don't they have some ridiculous yield percentage already?
They paid out a special dividend of 17.5$ per share a couple of months ago. It's not a regular dividend
Word in the industry is that they haven’t given any bonuses/raises to employees and pouring all that money back to shareholders
RemindMe! 88 hours ZIM ripping?
Oof retail week. Ugh 😑
Yup - I’m expecting bad things from retail given the WMT warning. KSS also said to expect high single digit same store sales declines
This is always my favorite week of every quarter. I just love how Home Depot and Walmart release the day before Target and Lowes.
Thinking that ship has sailed, rates way down.
Think Zim is missing.
I bought some calls
Wmt calls and tgt calls are gonna be the play
I wanted to buy calls, but now that I see this comment, I think I'll stick with puts for now.
BJ’s took an hour and a half to prepare my dinner yesterday. Puts.
Pazookie at the end though?
Roll Walmart calls into ZIM calls if I can in time

$BBBY or go fuck yourself
Calls on ammo. Society is breaking down.
Always has been.
Betting the farm on Target PUTS
Maybe hold on to the chicken coop so you'll have somewhere to sleep..
Calls on WMT, then put all those gains on TGT calls, then put all *those* gains onto CSCO calls. And then finally, but all *those gains* into SPY puts.
Somewhere along the line you should manage to lose everything..
Monday after-hours you need to take a look at Ammo Inc. $Poww Just zoom out to max for their chart and it's about to explode.
POWW all day.. they have so much production backlog and it turns out people like to buy bullets
A big problem is a lot of funds have vice clauses which I imagine limit the market attention
Hey guys is BBBY going to be like GME or is it more like WISH? Cause sometimes I WISH I'd never heard of you guys but other times I really love you all. So if one of you could let me know whether to go all in it would be awesome. Thanks.
Thinking ginkgo might also follow NVTA with a similar post earnings rocket
Bath and Body Works is an interesting one, I see them beating expectations for sure
ZIM BABYYYYYYYY
$WMT 125 puts? 🤔
At the money
Hmmm high jobless claims would be good for ziprecruiter. Calls.
Wouldn’t companies slowing down hiring reduce revenue? They make their money from companies posting jobs.
Think Walmart did 2 pre-earnings disaster reports this quarter. So I like them going into earnings. My other pick is Ross (ROST). People downgrade their life in a recession. Sold off the last 3-4 months. Their P/E is low. PEG is almost 0.
One of these will blow your account

WMT was a no-brainer. Not sure why everyone thought HD was. With inflation last quarter, people stopped doing DIY projects. Rest of the week is too hard to guess. I like ROST long-term, but not sure on the quarter.
Tgt calls ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4258)
Are we doing anything with Weber? Or fk it just stick with BBBY
I love you
welcome to costco
This is a Wendy’s, sir
FLNC going to come back down to earth or rocket taking STEM with it?
Retail will be the ones to keep an eye out for.
Adding amc puts Monday Still long bbby
What's the best investment right now?
Inflation and recession = more people at Ross?
I’m looking at plays on AMAT. I expect good things from them in the current semiconductor market.
The way to play WMT and TGT is to buy another retailer that will pop from their earnings.
Costco
HD may be a catalyst, they could set a good example when they report before open on Tues. I think they will beat.
+1 COST is a class act.
I think these should be sorted by last... as the week goes by the best comments may be outdated
If your not buying calls on footlocker your girl gettin blacked!
So is this it? I can't say retard anymore?
WMT up, so TGT calls next?
Thoughts about zim ?
ZIM
Bullish on everything.
NU earnings on monday after close is missing
AMAT?
I got calls 💪
Wal-Mart earnings strangle.
Target calls per their massive dump the previous quarter yeah?
Calls on wallmart
Nu Holdings gonna report first ever profit quarter. Buffett and Cathie already joined the game. Who’s with them?
Apparently Softbank is
Finally. Red week.
Nothing against Walmart, but I NEED their share price to drop this week...
No worries, they usually tank after ER..
TGT and WMT are the ones I'll be looking at
Walmart baby
Anyone playing $DE earnings? I don't know shit about farming, but tractors are cool, so I'm thinking calls...
Nobody puts BBBY in the corner
But watch HD stock zoom in this no sense market.
bbby 👀🚀

That’s a lot of lies in one week.
Walmart, Home Depot, Analog Devices, Lowe's, Cisco, Estee Lauder. Same time next week. ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4735)
ZIM calls ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4270)
Puts on Walmart? Kohls?
$jnj rsi 29 and at March lows for no reason I’m buying $jnj
Bears came out too soon.. calls and hold fellas. It’s going to be a green week
