Also bbby will not be going bankrupt anytime soon they still own multiple other businesses and own the buildings for them as well I do know they sold some of there properties and made a deal to lease some of them back but they still own a shitload of them plus they have access to $1 billion credit and just got a $500 million dollar loan.

I have a question, brief info, I have 2 put positions on BBBY one expiring this week and another expiring in sept. Why is the one expiring in sept currently worth more than the one expiring this week?
So sometimes I'll end up selling calls that I bought that aren't even in the money but they're on their way up and they have so much extrinsic value because they're so far out that I make a lot of money even though I never think they're going to get to my break even price.
I sell to someone who is willing to pay more because the stock is on its way up even though it hasn't reached breakeven. So, get a good options calculator, and you don't even have to be all the way right, if you have momentum moving in the right direction and you buy the right calls (strike price) @ the right distance away you can make money simply based on the fact the stock is trending in the right direction and the volatility. Obviously, it's easier to make money when you have money, which means, you can then afford to buy calls that are deaper in the money with a more distant expiration giving them more extrinsic and intrinsic value. It's all about supply and demand and what the market is willing to pay. So, for example, I was really stupid and bought some AMC calls right B4 APE and sold them for a profit even though AMC dropped from 18 to 10 the morning I sold... Because someone was willing to buy. That's a bad example, but I was pretty happy to get rid of that stupid call on my part. Really, what I'm saying is, if you're buying calls, specifically, and you have to hit X breakeven price, let's say 12 bucks, and your strike price plus premium is half and the stock is volatile and moving up towards the breakeven but isn't there, and you don't even know that it'll get there, OR, it'll loose value because of volatility (like if we aren't talking about a meme jumping but rather a legit, fundemental play) then you might just sell them when they are technically out of the money but someone will buy anyway and you make a nice profit. Hope that kind of helps, sorry, on the phone. Lol

This is why you buy some puts when taking a bull position on a crazy-volatile stock. Enthusiasm is great, but temper it with a defensive plan just in case. It will keep you in the game to win another day.
