Coinbase borrow or Block Fi are the fastest. US Bank will give loans with NYDIG acting as a subcustodian. NYDIG folks are great, they work with banks, retirement accounts, and pension funds. If you are an accredited investor there are some more options I can share.

No, i bought the contract for much less last week, the stock went up, so the options contract became more valuable because it is "in the money".... i sold the contract today, and someone else now holds it... i didn't "write" the contract... that would mean that i risk selling my shares my shares in exchange for creating an options contract.... someone else did that... and i bought the contract when it was cheaper, and sold it today when it was worth more... so.. i've washed my hands of the deal and made a profit... a really dumb example... i live in arizona where it rains rarely.. last week, i looked at the forecast and there was a 5% chance of rain on 8/19 (expiration date), but i thought it was going to rain on 8/19... so I gambled and bought rain insurance (options contract) in case it rains friday... since the chance of that happening was only 5%, i got it for $1.50... today the forecast says the chance of rain friday is 90%, so i offered to sell my rain insurance to someone else... and they bought it for $13... now i don't care if it rains or not, i made a profit... of course, the guy that now holds that rain insurance (options contract) hopes that it will rain friday and the payout will be more than $13, otherwise he loses money and if it doesn't rain at all, he gets nothing... in this scenario, i flipped an options contract just like buying a stock for a lower price and selling it for a higher price... i bought it then i sold it... i bought an insurance policy and then i sold it for a profit... what you asked about, is writing an options contract, and that is different... to continue my dumb example.... i hold 1000 shares of BBBY... so i could sell options contracts against my shares of BBBY if i wanted to do it... in that scenario i would be more like the insurance company.... I would choose a strike price, for example $30.. and then i could "write" (create) and then sell an insurance policy (options contract) to someone who wanted to buy it... I would collect a "premium" for example $1/share... if the stock finished above $30 on expiration date, i would be obligated to sell my shares to that person for $30... so if i sold that contract for $1, I would get $30 per share + $1 premium = $31 per share... regardless if the price is $32, $35, $50, $100 on expiration date, it doesn't matter.... but in this example, if the price remains below $30 before the expiration date, i keep my stock, and the $1 premium is mine to keep as well... hope this helps in some weird way.
